Thurs Dec 22: Today on Young and Restless, it’s Christmastime in Genoa City and everyone is celebrating.
Wednesday’s recap: Jordan Kidnaps Claire and Nate Catches Nikki Drinking and Confronts Her Before Telling Victor What He Saw

In Daniel’s new condo, Heather, Danny, Daniel and Lucy gather around the Christmas tree and light the lights.
The bulbs, Danny says came out of storage. Lucy calls it vintage, which makes Danny feel old.
It means so much to Danny to have them all there together, happy and healthy.
He almost wants to call it a miracle. Heather hugs Danny and Daniel gets the door to Phyllis and Summer.
They have Christmas kisses for one another. Phyllis is laden with packages and hands them to Danny.
“You know how I’m a sucker for Christmas,” she says as Daniel and Summer give each other the ‘are you kidding me’ look.
They drink homemade egg nog. “It’s just egg, and nog,” he says.
Phyllis calls her son talented and Summer says to get Daniel to cook for Lucy.
His chicken marsala is great. Heather suggests doing potluck for Christmas.
They can eat and play charades.
Everyone loves Heather’s idea and they talk about what they’re grateful for.
Daniel’s grateful his kid is nearby, Summer is grateful her mom is back among the living.
Daniel realizes he should have led with that. He too is grateful she’s with them.
Phyllis smiles brightly and gets misty-eyed.
She’s grateful to be there, to her brilliant lawyer who made it happen.
Heather is glad everyone is happy and healthy.
There’s nothing more special than having family close. “That and love is all we need,” Danny says. Daniel calls it a corny line but Danny argues that he’s that kind of corn.
They drink to family and love and then start singing Jingle Bells.
Lauren visits with Christine at Society. She hand delivers a package, knowing Daniel will love it.
Christine wanted to get him something special for Christmas.
Lauren asks if they’re still in the friend zone or back together after all this time.
Christine says what’s going on is “something good, the way I feel with him.”
She doesn’t want to jinx it. Michael drops by, kisses his wife and calls the women ravishing.
She heads to Daniel’s to give Danny his present. “Beyond that, you just never know,” Christine says, with hope.
Once she’s gone, Michael asks what’s up between Daniel and Christine.
Lauren calls it too early to tell. They gravitate to one another when they’re free.
Michael calls it Kismet and wishes her all the luck.
He wants to know how to get Lauren smiling. Lauren’s always smiling. He jokes that she doesn’t smile before her morning coffee.
They’ve hours before they need to be at Kevin’s. Michael wants private time with his irresistible wife.
She likes that idea.
He pulls out a present. It’s a room key to their favorite hotel room. He’ll meet her there.
She thinks he has another present but he won’t let her see it just yet.
At the Athletic Club, Abby and Devon have dinner together and talk about how exciting it is for Domimic this year at Christmas.
He’ll have so many presents to open, Abby says. Devon knows he’ll be able to enjoy so much more this year.
She asks if he’ll make the 7 layer bars he made for Dru and Lily before.
He remembers he didn’t have a dime for Christmas and Dru gave him money.
He spent it on baking supplies. It was the first time he felt he was in a real family.
He updates her on Tucker and the cover-up.
She checks her phone and they talk about how Tucker should have handled it.
Devon thinks he needs to listen to Tucker’s side of the story.
Abby isn’t sure what he’s hoping for.
He realizes he’ll just be hurt by the man one more time.
They try to put it behind them and focus on their first family Christmas. He promises it’ll be the best yet.
In his room upstairs, Tucker talks to a reporter about the story.
“Bah-freakin-humbug,” he says, slamming the phone down in anger as he disconnects.
The family is still singing Jingle Bells when Christine arrives.
Phyllis gets the door and the women size each other up, not liking what they see.
Michael intervenes and is happy to see Christine. He tries to explain what’s happening and she hands him his gift.
Phyllis calls him ‘the special one’ and Danny looks out of his element with the two women wanting him.
Later, Danny tells a story about how he was with the band once at Christmas and only wanted to sleep after the concert.
There was one hotel in the small city and it was fully booked.
They didn’t have a reservation and the concert promoters offered them all a place to stay.
“It was a horse barn with a tack house,” Christine remembers.
He had to sleep in a stable on Christmas Eve.
Phyllis says Danny told her it was a converted barn with antique cars.
Christine thinks she’s embellishing. Danny says he was offered a futon in someone’s basement.
Christine and Phyllis make little digs at one another and Christine thinks it’s best to think of the future.
Phyllis points out that the past shapes them but Christine says, “Only if you learn from it.”
It’s awkward. Finally, Summe says they’re meeting Dad at the club for dinner.
She rushes her mom out and Heather needs to call Paul in Lisbon.
The party breaks up and Christine is the only one left.
When Phyllis asks if she’s coming, she says she’s staying there, causing Red to shoot daggers with her eyes.
Later, Christine gives Danny his new robe which is silk. He loves it.
She tells him it was once owned by singer, and songwriter, Bryan Ferry.
Danny puts it on and thanks her and then gives her a bracelet, reminding her he got her one on their honeymoon in Wailea.
She recalls.
He says the airline lost it. He slips it on her wrist and she smiles at him, thanking him.
She loves it and how meaningful it is. They make out.
Lauren stops by Abby and Devon’s table at the Athletic Club. She wishes them happy holidays and tells them she’s meeting Michael there.
Devon realizes that’s why he ran upstairs smiling. She goes and Tucker appears.
“You look festive,” he says before heading to Devon’s table to wish his son a Merry Christmas.
Devon thinks it can’t be that merry for him after what just hit the internet.
Devon isn’t surprised but asks him to tell his side of the story.
Tucker sits and tells them he didn’t cover the actions up with the girl, nor would he ever.
He says the man was already in jail when he learned about him.
He cut ties and voided his contract and fired everyone responsible for keeping him on the tour.
He protected the business by not letting on that PR knew. Abby says he could have come clean at a press conference and condemned those actions.
Tucker knows he could have handled it differently. “That’s it?” Devon asks.
Tucker screwed up, he says and should have known it would come out.
Tucker is hurt, and asks how he can get Dominic his gifts. Devon asks him to drop by because his kid will want to see him.
Tucker chokes up and is grateful for making a consession for him.
Devon says he’s welcome but asks not to read into it.
It’s not a relationship invitation. After his dad’s gone, Devon second-guesses himself.
Devon doesn’t think his dad knows right from wrong and since it’s the holidays, he doesn’t have time for this.
Abby’s gut tells her to keep Tucker away but she knows it’s different for him.
He kisses Abby.

Upstairs, Lauren heads inside the room.
There’s a decorated Christmas tree where she slips her present for Michael under.
He appears in a robe with champagne and they clink glasses and kiss.
Lauren calls this perfect. He has another gift for her, but first, he needs a kiss.
They have sex and later, he hands her the box. It’s a ring. She loves it.
He asks her to marry him for the second time. Lauren’s moved and tells him to hold that thought.
She goes to get his gift. It’s a wedding band. She asks him to marry him. He laughs.
What are the odds?
They’re of one mind.
He says, “Yes, a thousand times yes.”
She raises it to ten and slips on his ring.
He puts her new one on for her and kisses her hand.
Summer and Phylis arrive at the Athletic Club.
Summer says Nick can’t make it because something with the family came up.
Summer’s worried since he didn’t sound good.
She’s going to go over.
Phyllis doesn’t mind.
Phyllis heads down to the lounge and tries to run off when she sees Tucker.
He spots her and calls her over.
He asks if she’s alone but she tells him she spent the day with family but her plans tonight fell through.
She seems uncomfortable and stammers.
He offers to buy her a drink.
At the end of the episode, several of the stars of Y&R wish everyone happy holidays.

Michael tells Lauren that at the stroke of midnight, she will be his one and only wife, all over again. Lauren calls it inspired.
Phyllis tells Danny there is something between them. He feels it too. She knows he does. She leans in and they make out.
Nikki lets herself into an old abandoned barn. “Jordan?” She calls.
“Hello, Nikki,” Jordan says, holding a gun pointed at Nikki. “So glad you could make it.”
