Weds Jan 10, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Victor challenges Nick and Adam, Claire is haunted by memories of Jordan, Jack shares words of wisdom with Ashley, and Kyle and Audra are through.
Tuesday’s recap: Angry Kyle hauls off and punches Tucker and Claire asks Cole and Victoria to help her face Jordan.

Newman Enterprises
Adam walks up to Nick in the hall at Newman, late for their meeting. Nick bitches at him and Adam tries to get him to relax.
Together, they’ll wow the old man. Inside, Victor calls his “bee bee” and asks how she’s doing. He listens and says he’ll check back later.
After he disconnects, the men stride in with presentations for their dad.
He asks if they’ve been arguing but they tell him they’ve been brainstorming and came up with a solid plan.
Nick lets Adam tell their dad that EVRS is a strong company.
Innovated and it can achieve greater things under the Newman umbrella.
Nick says they should rebrand it at Newman Real Adventures and turn it into a boutique. NE reaps the financial reward.
Victor calls it expensive. They know but they see promise.
Victor likes it, likes the name and Nick finds it hard to admit the name was Adam’s idea.
Victor’s happy as a father, to see his boys working together.
He repeats this a few times and when Adam goes, Victor updates Nick on how Nikki’s doing, taking it one day at a time.
They discuss how worried they are about Victoria but Victor reminds his son she’s a Newman with Newman strength.
Nick agrees but she’s stubborn.
Victor tells his son how proud he is that he’s getting along with Adam. Nick’s surprised at how well it’s going.
Victor reminds his son that Adam wasn’t brought up by him and felt abandoned. It’s been rough on him.
Nick admits he’s impressed him and admits that yes, he knows this is where he belongs.
Society
At Society, Victoria mopes, wishing Claire wanted a relationship with them.
Cole is happy she felt strongly enough to come to them with this.
They should help her take control her life.
Victoria worries it’ll just trigger her.
Cole reminds her she’s stronger than she was at the lakehouse.
He grins. He sees Victoria in Claire. She was so polite and tried not to offend but she was determined.
Victoria thinks she’s sensitive like him.
They both understand psychologically that it makes sense for her to see Jordan but again, Victoria goes back to wondering, “What if it does more damage?”
Cole wants to do this.
Memorial Hospital
At Memorial, Claire lays in bed and thinks about asking her parents to let her see Jordan.
She falls asleep and has a nightmare that her parents refused her request and started yelling at her. When she called Victoria “Mom,” Victoria seethed.
“Never call me that.” Claire wakes up with a start.
Later, Victoria and Cole arrive. Claire’s shocked to learn they want to let her see Jordan.
She thanks them but can tell Victoria’s not alright with this.
Victoria admits she’s worried about what effect Jordan will have on her but if this is what she needs, she’ll help.
“Under one condition.”
She and Cole go with her to Oregon. Claire refuses.
They’ve wasted too much time on her.
Victoria calls her family. Her reaction hasn’t changed how they feel about her. Claire can’t do this and asks them not to talk about their feelings.
Cole can write his book anywhere and Claire’s shocked when Victoria admits she left her position at Newman.
She’ll have a position when she returns but family comes first.
Claire doesn’t want them to give up things for her, and reminds her she’s a stranger who put her family through hell.
Cole says this is what a normal family does. Loves unconditionally.
Victoria wants to support her facing Aunt Jordan. No strings.
Claire calls herself a monster but Victoria denies it. Claire accepts their condition. They go together but she faces her aunt alone.
Abbott’s mansion
At the Abbott’s, Jack begs his sister to tell him what happened.
She reluctantly says Tucker’s trying to make her doubt her sanity.
He’s shocked McCall is gaslighting her.
She tells him it was about the cafe in Paris when she told him she couldn’t walk away from her legacy.
He was in a rage, she says, and broke a glass in a restaurant. He says the violence never happened.
Jack calls the “snake” a coward and orders her not to let it get to her but she reminds him she’s had a break with reality before.
Jack says she remembers what happened. It’s real. She loves his faith in her but worries. “What if I’m wrong?”
Jack won’t let her doubt herself. Tucker’s a bastard.
They wonder what he hopes to gain from this. He told her she exaggerated to get out of their relationship.
Ashley says if he thinks they’re reuniting after he was so cruel, he’s delusional. Jack holds her as she cries.

The Athletic Club
In Audra’s suite at GCAC, Tucker tells Kyle that was a good punch he just laid on him.
Kyle says he can do it again and makes a move toward him.
Audra gets in the middle, yelling and Kyle demands Tucker stay away from his family.
Tucker calls him a tough guy and thinks Ashley can fight her own battles. Kyle tries to go at him when he bashes Jack and again, Audra steps in the way.
Tucker has an extra incentive. He has another Abbott he wants to square things with. Kyle acts tough, saying, “Is that supposed to scare me?”
Tucker vows to come for them at some point. They won’t know where or when but he’ll enjoy it.
He leaves and Audra yells at Kyle. Tucker’s lethal when there’s no emotional investment.
He decimates anyone he perceives as against him.
When he comes for the family, it’ll be like nothing Kyle can imagine.
Kyle calls her Tucker’s trusty little cheerleader and she reminds him he worked against him and used him.
She’ll take her chances with Tucker. Kyle can’t believe he iddn’t see her for who she is.
She thinks he’s only afraid they’re so much alike or just thought the sex was good.
Kyle thought they could accomplish something great.
“Too bad you don’t have the guts to think for yourself,” he says and she opens the door and tells him to get out.
Abbot manse
Back home, Kyle finds his dad and aunt and barks out that he confronted Audra and told her he wanted nothing more to do with her.
She claimed she was protecting him and is so deep in with Tucker, that she can’t see beyond that.
Kyle tells them Tucker showed up and seems unfazed by their attack.
He threatened them. Ashley calls it bluster.
Kyle confesses it got physical.
Ashley takes off with Jack shouting after her.
Kyle tells his dad that Tucker’s coming for them.
Jack hopes he leaves Ashley out of this.
GCAC dining room
Audra finds Tucker sitting on the sofa at GCAC and tells him it’s over with Kyle.
McCall thanks her for warning him and thinks it’s good to get him out of her system.
She says he’s not the only one she’s getting out of her system once and for all.
Tucker looks worried and begs her please, not to do this.
She wants nothing to do with his lovesick revenge crap.
He denies being lovesick and calls her his…”I can’t do this without you.”
She says he’s suckered her in and made promises he can’t keep.
If her name gets out there, she’s done.
She has no protection, and no finances the way he does.
“You have me,” he says but she doesn’t.
Her credibility and reputation will be gone. She can’t let it happen.
He vows to protect her but she refuses.
Ashley walks in and Audra tells him his promises mean nothing.
She’s out and he’s on his own.
She leaves and tells Ashley to have at him. “You two and your twisted dance never ends.” Ashey wants to talk to Audra.
Society
Adam finds Sally at Society and when she asks how the pitch went, Adam admits it was perfect.
Dad loved it.
She’s proud of him and he’s proud of himself and Nick.
They worked hard and took a big step into their future.
He wants to celebrate with her but she has a client. Sally says her client cancelled. She’s in.
