Monday, July 10, 2023, Y&R day ahead episode recap: Sally realizes how much Nick cares about Adam, Tucker convinces Ashley to use Phyllis, and Summer asks her mom not to try to fix her marriage.
Friday’s Y&R day ahead recap: Phyllis makes a reveal to Michael, Summer accused Billy of siding with Kyle, and Tucker’s eavesdropping gave him hot gossip about Phyllis.

Victoria is surprised when Nick shows up at her office and jokes that he wasn’t sure if she would have deactivated his security pass.
He stopped by to check on his old team and see what she did with them.
She says they can take their grievances up with human resources. They bicker and she claims she’s not doing anything nefarious.
He explains that their father is trying to get him to team up with Adam again.
Her brother lashes out about her replacing him with Nate. Who will be her voice of reason?
She claims she doesn’t need one… Adam on the other hand.
Sharon and Sally look concerned when Adam rushes into Crimson Lights on the phone, ordering that heads will be rolling at McCall.
Sally stands back and Sharon starts talking to him about firing people. He claims he’s only getting things ready to take over Newman Media so he can fold it into Adustus International.
Sharon says business sure isn’t like baking bread, where you have to think about all the ingredients. The Newman says that’s fascinating and exits.
Sharon calls Spectra to come out. Sally thanks her for the card and flowers she sent, especially considering she was dealing with Cameron. Sharon knows how hard it is to grieve losing a child.
She brings up that parents grieving together usually makes it better. Sally says Adam is back to normal, playing god with people’s lives. She doesn’t owe him anything and walks out.
When Victor shows up, Sharon asks what’s behind his push to have his sons work together.
She asks if he is trying to save the company or his children. He thinks he can do both.
Nick goes to see sally in her suite. He’s sorry if he upset her by talking about Adam. He weighs out his career options and admits that going to work with Adam might be the best thing. Adam could turn into the old Adam otherwise and none of them will be safe.
Sally thinks he cares about his brother more than he’s ever admitted to himself.
Adam returns to Crimson Lights. Sharon called him and tells him she has a new company to run too.
They sit in a booth and explains that Cameron left her his business. She has a proposition for him. Kirsten’s company is a mess and a challenge. She suggests they merge their companies and work together.
Summer goes to Chancellor Park and finds her mom hiding behind a magazine and hat. She suggests they run away and become fashion vloggers in countries with no extradition treaties.
Phyllis guesses things aren’t going well with Kyle. Her daughter admits she’s moved into the Athletic Club and Harrison is confused. She’s not sure she can turn this around.
Her mother suggests she just need to let Kyle cope a little and then he will come around. When she admits she feels responsible, her daughter agrees that she absolutely is.
Phyllis starts apologizing and says she can work things out for her.
Her daughter begs her not to get any more involved in her marriage.
This is something she needs to work out on her own.
Her mom explains that once Michael digs up the EMT she will consider coming out of hiding.
She tells her daughter just to concentrate on her marriage and adds that love always finds a way.

Comings and goings: Vail Bloom returns
At the Abbott estate, Traci and Billy worry about why they have been called there.
Diane offers them cinnamon rolls and Jack pops up to kick things off. They guess that Ashley has been excluded.
Traci reminds him that he didn’t call the family together when he appointed Diane. Her brother claims this is about protecting Jabot.
Kyle wanders in and wonders why they are having a family meeting minus him and Ashley.
He assumes this means something and lashes out about being shut out. Traci begs him to stay, as does Diane.
Jack refuses to budge and Kyle stomps out. They leap into discussing business.
They have no idea what McCall and Ashley have in mind and Jack reminds them of the last time this happened.
Traci is amazed to see Billy being the calm and rational one. Jack is sure that their sister poses a serious threat and demands they have her removed from the Jabot board immediately.
His siblings think this is extreme and Traci reminds Jack that their father wanted all of them to have a seat on the board. Billy asks Diane how she feels and she sides against Jack.
Traci asks him if this blood feud has gone on long enough.
Kyle goes to the GCAC and smiles when he spots Audra.
He thinks back to her offer to work at Newman Media. He strolls over and asks about her plans for a new partner.
She claims she’s manifesting their future. He admits he’s interested in her job offer.
They have coffee and she tells him how well they could work together.
He suggests mixing business with pleasure could be dangerous.
The Abbott warns he will make her work to get him on board.
She suggests they should have a rule that he can’t look at her with bedroom eyes while they’re in public.
As she asks him how she can make him hers, Summer arrives and watches them from the lobby.
Summer interrupts and Audra immediately takes off. He admits that Charles asked him to work at Newman Media.
She reminds him of the history of their rocky relationship and he refuses to deal with this.
Summer agrees to let him figure out where he belongs, but Audra is “sketchy.”
“Maybe I do have a type after all,” he says, wishing her the best and claiming he’s doing fine on his own.
Ashley joins Tucker at Society and tells him it seems like Jack and Daniel are up to something.
She guesses they shouldn’t be surprised since they dropped a bomb on them about starting their own company.
Whipping out a little blue box, he drops it on the table and tells her he has a wedding gift for her.
It’s a weapon. It’s her fondest wish come true.
When she opens it, she finds a phone number inside. He explains it’s for a man who can make her dream of brining Phyllis back come true. He’s closing in on the EMT.
Ashley hates to get his hopes up but Tucker thinks this could keep Phyllis out of lock-up and make her beholden to them.
She’s not sure they should get Phyllis involved. If she goes rogue, bad things happen. He thinks she could be an added level of attack.
Ashley likes risks in business, but not like this. He suggests they point Phyllis at Jack rather than Diane.
He wonders if she’s worried about retaliation and trusts Phyllis to find a way to get through to Jack and throw Diane off her game.
Ashley mulls it over and agrees to get rid of Jenkins once and for all.
He calls to have Carson taken in.
Michael meets with Phyllis in the park. She worries that her daughter’s life is falling apart.
She needs to try to fix things and can’t have her daughter worrying that she will be going to jail while her marriage collapses.
The lawyer tells her they are close to finding Carson the EMT.
She just needs to hold on a little longer.
