Chance and Sharon are at Society, joking about how they have come there a thousand times. He assures her that all is good with his ex-wife and brings up her new company.
Neither of them care for the name Adustus.
When he asks if joining forces with Adam is the right move, Adam shows up and tells him to stay out of it.
He picks up on the vibe between them and says she glows when she sees the cop.
Chance says this is none of his business and suggests he will use his company as a weapon against Victor.
Adam claims he has no idea what’s going on in his mind. Sharon says she and Nick can keep Adam in line.
Chance walks Adam back to Crimson Lights. She wonders if he’s upset about Adam.
He doesn’t thinks he should be giving that guy the benefit of the doubt, but he’d rather they focus on more important things. They dance.
He just wants her to be happy and successful, whatever that means to her.
Taking his hand, she feels like she’s on the way to finding both.
At the Abbott estate, Diane flashes back to the fight between Jack and Ashley about her.
Jack wanders in and she assumes he feels like he let down because she offers to step down from Jabot.
She can’t let him break apart the company just to stop his sister.
He doesn’t want her to sacrifice her happiness for his sister’s sake. He doubts that Ashley will be successful with Tucker weighing her down.
Diane still refuses to let him throw away part of the company. It means too much to both of them.
Jack points out that he and his sister have been down this road before. They will either reconcile eventually or she and Tucker will go down in flames.
If his sister wants a war, he will give her one, sure Tucker will bring out every dirty trick he can think of.
That’s not something Diane doubts, but she has a plan of her own.
He gets a text to check out Leanna Love’s latest video.
It’s all about Phyllis coming back from the dead and the fights this have caused in the Abbott family.
Jack isn’t surprised she’s exploiting his family’s dirty laundry like this and flashes back to her seducing him.
Snapping out of it, he asks her what her scheme with Billy is.
She thinks his brother isn’t bothered about getting his hands dirty and they should leave it with him.
He worries about putting his brother in an untenable situation. She explains that Billy will become their trojan horse.
