Monday, July 24 GH recap: Willow thanks Nina for trying, Mason and Austin take care of Gordon, Terry reminds Finn of the job offer, and Liz chases Dex away.
Friday’s GH recap: Curtis learned he won’t walk again, and Dr. Montague drugged Sasha before she was brought to Ferncliff.
Liz clocks out at General Hospital and Finn asks her to dinner.
She teasingly says this is awkward since she already planned to asking him out.
They both made reservations at The Grill.
Austin calls Ava and assures her that all will be fine. She’s nervous about meeting the nanny that Mason is sending over. He says that if she plays along, all will be okay. He gets a text from Mason saying they have trouble.
Dex follows Austin to his office. When Austin arrives, he finds Mason with Gordon.
Mason explains that Gordon wants to extort more money.
He asks for a hundred grand or he will tell Sonny what they’ve been doing behind his back.
Austin tells his cousin that Sonny is only paying attention to him because of his involvement with Ava. Gordon just wants his money.
Mason says their colleague will meet him outside and make sure he gets what he wants.
Sonny and Nina arrive and he tells her he has contact at Ferncliff who can keep an eye on Sasha.
She panics when she remembers she’s supposed to be visiting Willow.
She suspects Michael will hold it against her for not showing up.
He urges her to tell Willow about what happened with Sasha, sure she will understand. She bustles off.
Dex comes over and tells his boss that he’s been following Austin as ordered. When he returns to snoopping, Liz catches him, lectures him for it, and tells him she knows what he did to her son and that he works for Sonny.
After she threatens to call security, he ducks away.
Bearded Yuri arrives and Terry runs into his arms.
He explains that the trip that Valentin and Laura made was very arduous. She tells him how crazy she is about him.
Yuri came back because he had something important to discuss with her.
He’s realized they have been seeing each other for a year. They have never been happier.
He hands her a key to his apartment. She spots Liz and Finn, claims she has to take care of something, and rushes off.
Terry corners Finn and asks to speak to him about her offer to become co-chief.
The board has been hounding her for weeks.
He doesn’t think he’s the right guy for the job.
Terry pitches bureaucracy as the ultimate holistic treatment.
Finn agrees to think about it.
Valentin calls Yuri but the bodyguard can’t hear anything and loses the connection.
Before he can leave, Terry stops him.
She assures him that the gift of the key means a lot. She gives him the spare key to her place.
She notices he’s distracted. He’s worried about his boss and has a bad feeling.
When Dex steps outside, he find Gordon’s corpse in the alley.
Michael and Wiley are playing outside of teh gatehouse.
Willow joins them and wonders what’s happened to Nina. It’s not like her not to show up. She assumes there is a reasonable explanation.
When Nina arrives, she happily fusses over Wiley until his father sends him off.
He lectures her for being late.
She explains what happened to Sasha. He feels bad and walks off to make some calls.
The women talk about how resilient kids are and Nina asks her to let her know if she comes on too strong.
Willow appreciates how hard she has been trying.
As she goes on about her dropping the Carly vendetta, Nina flashes back to sending the SEC after her.
Willow says they don’t have a clean slate but there may be a way for them to see if they can fit into each other’s lives.
Michael returns after calling his father to check on the Sasha situation.
Nina takes this as her cue to go and Wiley hopes his grandma comes back soon.

Brad Smith to General Hospital
At Wyndemere, Ava meets with Miss Rutherford, (Ella Lentini) the new nanny.
She orders Ave to stop pretending that this is a real interview and adds she will have to get rid of her butler.
She tells Nina that there will be consequences if she fails to sell her to Sonny as the new nanny. Reminding her of the threat she’s under, she adds a lot more than her life is hanging in the balance, like her mom Delia’s.
They go to the parapet and Ava calls her mom to make sure everything is okay. She’s startled to hear she has a date with “the dangerous type” who is taking her to Pautauk.
The line goes dead and Miss Rutherford doubles up the threat. When Ava orders her to call off her guy, Rutherford slaps her and reminds her who is in charge.
Sonny walks in and wonders what’s going on.
Carly arrives at Kelly’s and turns the sign to closed. Joss bustles in and confronts her mom about deciding to sell their house without talking to her about it.
Carly refuses to drag her into her financial problems and adds that she has a back-up plan. Rather than selling the house, she’s going to run Kelly’s. She’s been entrusted with it.
Joss is taken aback as her mom goes on about restoring the place to its original glory. Carly is determined to stand on her own two feet.
Small things can turn into something big. This is just the first step.
Nervous Finn arrives at The Grill followed by Liz.
Drew corners Cyrus in the prison library. Renault tells him that the good book has taught him to be peaceful and urges him not to escalate things. Drew demands to know if he’s responsible for Curtis getting shot.
Cyrus claims he has no interest in Curtis. Cain suggests he was trying to take out Sonny. Renault reminds him he’s grateful to him and Curtis for bringing Spencer back.
Some prisoners arrive and start pushing Cyrus around. Drew stands up for him and gets him to back off.
Drew makes it clear to Renault that he still doesn’t like him. He wonders why he was actually scared of those guys. Cyrus says the warden is the last person who would help him, especially if it means crossing those guys.
Drew wonders what that means. Cyrus won’t explain, but he does urge him to find some kind of “family” if he wants to survive inside. If he won’t join his flock, he better find another.
