In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Billy and Jack worry about Tucker’s scheming with their sister, Adam tells Victor his plan to go after his old company, and Tucker gives Audra some wisdom. In the previous episode, Cameron took down a security guard at Newman while Kyle chewed Phyllis out after finding her with Summer.

Adam meets with his father at Society and complains that he could be more effective working without these contstant check-ins.
Billy and Jack show up. Billy jokes it looks like they’ve walked into a nature documentary.
Jack brags that everything is coming up roses for him and Victor says it sounds like he’s been smelling too much of his own perfume.
Even if Diane isn’t a murderer, she is sure to ruin his life.
The men bicker and taunt each other. Once the Abbotts leaves, Victor tells his son he has some ideas for McCall.
Adam has plans to shake things up already. He wants to cut the music department and focus on streaming. His father points out that will put him in competition with Newman Media.
Victor did not give him the company to use as a weapon against Victoria. Adam claims that’s not what he’s doing.
His father tells him his priority should be his family above all else. He will not let him declare war on Newman Media.
Adam wants to take over the company and bring it back to where it started, with him. That is about family.
Jack and Billy get a table. He tells his little brother about the “troubling development” with Ashley. She’s planning to marry Tucker ASAP.
Billy says they need to stop that. He’s sure that McCall is driving the “coup” in the company.
Jack is starting to worry the wedding is soon to happen and reminds him that Tucker was planning to take over their company.
All of this seems calculated to Billy. He’s not sure Tucker is involved but it is definitely about Jabot.
Jack has confronted their sister, who insists Tucker hasn’t been behind this. They hope at least she’s getting a prenup.
Billy worries that he could be in striking distance to get a board seat. If he married into the family, that’s almost a sure thing.
They both are willing to do whatever it takes to protect their sister and Jabot.
Nate bumps into Audra at the GCAC. She hopes they are having a session but Victoria shows up and tells Nate she forgot some files in the executive suite.
They take off. Audra rolls her eyes.
“Don’t you just hate when that happens,” Tucker says, poking around the corner.
He sits down and she brags she’s had private meetings with Nate too. He’s sure they aren’t of the same calibre as the meeting he’s giving Victoria right now.
Whispering Nate’s name over and over, he teases her. She crosses her legs.
Audra claims that the closer Nate and Victoria get, the better it is for her game plan.
Tucker is sure she has a heart beneath all her schemes. She’s not about to ruin her plans by making a move on Nate.
When he offers her advice, she takes a hard pass.
He points out everything has been panning out for him because he keeps an open mind and is always willing to risk everything because it’s all an illusion.
She thinks this is random nonsense. “Namaste baby,” he says, walking off.
She spots Victor across the room. Heading over to him, she complains about how Tucker is always playing mindgames.
He’s not concerned about Tucker and asks what it’s like to work with Nate. Audra gushes about his “instinctive business savvy” and business style.
Up in Victoria’s suite, she undoes Nate’s tie and tells him about how great their bottom line is and it’s time to reward the hard work.
She undresses him as they talk about fiscal balances and gasp.
Eventually, he falls in the bed and she climbs on.
After sex, she tells him how much of a turn on it is to mix business and pleasure. This distraction was nice but they have work to do.
He talks about redesigning some of their websites. She loves that he thinks about things and will run the idea by her mother and brother.
He’d hate to think that Nick will suspect him of a power play. She promises to handle her brother.

At Sharon’s, she teases Faith about the name she gave her cat. Faith notices the cat hasn’t been around.
They’re jumpy about Cameron and Sharon says they need to stay on alert.
Faith is going to see the baby in the tack house.
When she opens the door, she screams.
Borgnine isn’t breathing.
They call Chance and Nick.
The detective arrives and sends a cop off to forensics with the cat.
Nick runs in next and they fill him in about the dead pet.
Nick and Sharon are sure the cat was murdered. The cops are searching the property. Nick stomps off to search too.
He eventually returns. No one has found Cameron. Faith goes off to call her friends about the cat.
Sharon tells the cop she’s certain this was Kirsten’s doing. This was a message from a madman, a warning of what’s to come.
The detective repeats they don’t know what’s going on yet. Nick explains that one of the Newman guards was drugged and his uniform stolen.
The cop isn’t thrilled no one told him this until now. He gets a text confirming the cat was poisoned. There’s no proof Cameron did it but he promises to see this through.
Once he leaves, Sharon realizes the cat never went outside. That means Cameron must have been inside the house.
Nick can’t let this go on and runs out to end this. She locks the door and looks around.
At the Abbott estate, Kyle stares into space until Summer interrupts. He didn’t sleep all night and asks her to come clean and tell him the truth.
She tells him it’s amazing her mom is alive and his is off the hook. He demands to know how long she’s known her mom is alive.
Lying, she says she saw her for the first time yesterday. She makes excuses. He doesn’t buy them.
He’s been thinking about all the little things that haven’t made sense and it’s only convinced him that wasn’t the first time she saw her mother.
He asks to see her son and she reluctantly hands it over. Soon, he finds a bunch of texts from an anonymous number she was replying to.
Summer begs him to drop this but he’s sure it proves her mom reached out to her first.
She admits it. Her mom knew she would be willing to lie to his face.
She hates having to lie. He points out she didn’t have to. She knows but she was happy her mom was alive.
Her husband is sure that Daniel has been protecting her. She could have cleared his mom while she was in prison but sat back and did nothing.
“I wasn’t going to let Diane rot in jail,” she claims. She’s out now. Kyle says that doesn’t absolve her and he’s sure she was fighting with her brother about doing the right thing.
If it wasn’t for Daniel, his mother would still be facing trial. Summer promises she never would have let it go too far.
“You sacrificed my mother to save yours,” he says. His wife claims she was only trying to buy some time but he thinks she needs to own up to her actions.
Not only was she watching his mother suffer, but she was also watching him suffer and pushing him away.
She begs for the chance to make things up to him but he doesn’t know how that is possible. Her fake grief was diabolical and she kept lying to his face.
When she begs him not to tell anyone where her mom is, he snaps. He doesn’t know what’s real with her anymore and storms out.
