Tues May 14, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Tucker urges Alan to help Ashley, Audra has a run-in with Belle, and Devon fills Abby in on the threat posed by Billy.
Monday’s recap: Lily laughed and Devon was outraged when Billy informed them Jill gave him her power, and Chloe and Sally’s business failed.

Lily is surprised when Daniel swans into her office.
She hasn’t been answering his messages.
He wants to discuss the lawsuit before it gets out of hand.
She insists there is nothing to talk about.
He thinks she knows this isn’t right and repeats he only wants the parts of Omegasphere close to his heart.
Lily reminds him that Omegasphere is not his anymore.
He reminds her that he made it for his daughter.
She says that doesn’t mean he’s entitled to have it.
Daniel hoped she’d have cooled off after what happened between them.
Lily is not going to do him an expensive favor for old time’s sake.
He’s sorry that he hurt her but they need to keep that separate.
It feels like this is all about revenge.
She claims it is nothing personal. He needs to agree to the terms of his contract.
They own the IP and aren’t handing him back pieces for free.
Daniel thinks she’s hiding behind logic and the law.
They’ve always been there for each other and he’s coming to her as a friend to beg her not to take this from him.
She accuses him of guilt-tripping her and he keeps pushing.
He’s sure everyone knows that is about them and are just trying to make it easier on her.
He senses she’s stressed and offers to listen. She turns that down.
Lily agrees to revisit this with the board but won’t say any more. He thanks her and wishes her luck with whatever else she’s dealing with.
Once he’s gone, she sighs.
Signing onto her computer, Jill pops up in a video call.
“Did you really give Billy all your power behind our backs?” Lily asks.
Jill confirms all that Billy said and explains that she did this to stop Devon since she’s sure he’s determined to drive Billy out.
Now Devon has to take Billy seriously.
This is binding and Billy now has her power which makes him equal to her and Devon.
That means they all have to work together and can get back to business.
Lily tells her this is no solution and she’s made things so much worse.
In the park, Abby and Devon watch their son play and admire his stubbornness.
The topic turns to work and he fills her in on Billy’s claim that Jill has signed all of her power over to him.
This makes no sense to him and Devon won’t stand for it.
Jill hasn’t mentioned any of this and is now unreachable.
Abby agrees this is odd. He thinks it’s classic Billy.
If Jill did this, why would she blindside them like this?
Handing Billy a grenade like this either means she doesn’t care or she wants a war.
She doesn’t think they should be jumping to assumptions but he doesn’t see any option.
Abby senses how frustrated he is.
He says that things have been off ever since Lily went out of town. Good business can’t continue with unstable management.
She wonders how Neil would have handled this.
Neil would tell them to work it out or walk away.
Devon would love to walk away but can’t.
He doesn’t want to work with Billy and wants him out.
All of this is making her worried.
She says he doesn’t play dirty.
He says he will do whatever it takes to protect the company or they could lose everything.
Abby urges him to figure out what’s really happening before he draws up battle plans.
Lily calls him and explains that Jill confirmed it’s all true.
He says he has to take care of something and will then be over at the office.
Abby begs him not to do something he will regret.

Audra is startled when Belle jogs into Society, happy to see her.
She hopes that she’s finally “ditched that snake.”
Audra says they are solid and leaving town.
When Belle snipes about her leaving for Paris, Audra stops her and asks what she wants.
Belle thinks Tucker is trouble but Audra insists they have something she’s never had before.
She doesn’t give up on him when things are tough.
Belle wishes them the best and Audra wonders if Alan has put her on an even keel.
She suggests that getting involved with her therapist isn’t a great idea.
“You are going to give me dating advice? Adorable!” says Belle.
Audra suggests she’s trying to seduce the shrink so he won’t focus on her psychological issues.
“That’s quite the juicy plot you’ve cooked up sister,” says Belle, who repeats they are not professionally involved.
She makes it clear she’s open to whatever the universe has in store for her and wanders off.
Tucker runs into Alan in the dining room of the GCAC. Seeing his bags, he wonders if he is leaving Ashley in the lurch.
He thinks that she’s in desperate need of help.
Alan can see this matters to him.
McCall urges him to just do something.
Alan asks why he thinks she needs help.
Tucker fills him in on the wild personality swings that she’s had since she returned to Paris. Her family is terrified for her.
He’ll admit he wasn’t the perfect husband and is sorry for the mistake he made.
He’s sure she won’t get well if she’s left on her own. Tucker fills him in on how Ashley has threatened Audra and talks about herself in the third person.
It’s clear that someone needs to step up. Clearing his throat, Alan admits it sounds concerning but could be a misunderstanding.
He assumes that Tucker is feeling guilty for what he did to Ashley and making sure she gets help would get him off the hook.
McCall says he’s not entirely to blame and wants her to get better for her own sake.
He’s moved on romantically and sleeps well at night.
When his key card is returned to him, Alan admits he’s decided to stick around.
Tucker is impressed that he just ate up all he told him and said nothing. Alan wishes him well and walks off.
Audra joins Tucker and informs him that she just saw Ashley and she wished her well.
“As in, I wish you well as you plummet to your deaths when I push you off a cliff?” he asks.
She recaps the conversation and the latest weird switch.
She’s all over the place emotionally and she doesn’t want to make it worse.
Tucker sarcastically says she’s a kind person.
He thinks they need to drop the subject of Ashley forever and get out of town.
They’re packed. They can leave.
She asks if he’s trying to run away from something.
As they walk to the stairs, he tells her that he is not running away.
She is all he wants to concentrate on.
Devon walks in and calls out to him, saying that he could use his help.
Alan meets with Belle at Society.
She’s happy he’s sticking around.
He tells her of his encounter with her ex-husband and says he thinks he’s carrying a lot of guilt over what happened.
Belle doesn’t buy it and is only interested in better things.
He mentions Tucker seemed intrigued that he was sticking around and asked a lot of questions.
She repeats she just wants to focus on what’s in front of her.
Daniel walks in and Tessa notices him staring into space.
He recognizes her so she explains she’s Mariah’s wife.
He mentions that he’s a fan of her music.
It helped him through some rough times.
She can’t sing to him there but she explains they have food and drinks and can listen.
They sit at the bar and she tells him how great Princess Louisa is and how beautiful it was that he did that for his daughter.
He fills her in on how he no longer has any rights to the game but doesn’t want to let go of it.
Everything is a mess and it’s his fault. She can relate.
It felt like she ruined her life too but it all worked out.
She fills him in on how she and Mariah first got together, how she used her diary and that cost her a friend and her contract.
He’d be grateful if she told him how she put her life back together.
Belle and Alan go to Chancellor Park.
When he asks about Katherine and how well she knew her, she’s vague.
Belle wonders why she can’t remember Ashley’s past.
Mrs. Abbott tells her that’s because she wants her to fail.
Alan notices she’s distracted.
She tells him how much she wants to kiss him and fondles his lapels.
