Sharon eats with Nate and Devon at the GCAC.
They talk about the presentations her company made about their possible collaboration.
She hopes they are ready to make a deal. They are distracted when they spot Tucker walking in with Audra.
Devon tells Sharon they are ready to make some deals, they are just waiting for a final sign-off from Billy and Jill.
Sharon thinks this is amazing and she’s optimistic.
They should be able to solidify this in the next few weeks.
After she takes off, Devon congratulates Nate on the deal and then asks what’s going on between him and Audra.
Nate says they are just close but his cousin reminds him that she’s a grown woman and nothing but drama.
She’ll drag him back into a place his family doesn’t want him to be in.
Nate takes this to mean he still doesn’t trust him.
Devon explains that he thinks he’s still capable of making decisions to benefit himself rather than the company.
Victoria tempted him with that and he suspects Audra presents the same temptation.
Nate is surprised when Devon admits he didn’t bother inviting Billy.
Sharon did bring him the idea.
Devon doesn’t see the big deal.
At their table, Tucker assures Audra he only has eyes for her.
He feels closer to her than he ever has.
She’ll admit she feels a shift in their dynamic. “You’re such a poet,” he jokes.
She admits she’s still on guard about Ashley. Taking her hand, he tells her he meant what he said about choosing her in all ways possible.
Audra brings the topic back to business and asks him about his plans. She thinks he can have all he wanted to have with Ashley with her.
If she’s in, she’s all the way in. He assures her he’s 100 percent in but just wants to bask in the afterglow for the moment.
She agrees to that but will make sure he remembers all the promises her made.
They talk about what a thrill it is that they don’t trust each other.
It keeps them in their happy place.
He gets her to smell his herbs and urges her never to tell him her plans.
She’s not sure constant suspicion is romance but he thinks they can seduce information from each other.
They toast to it.
They watch Devon and Nate exit.
She takes this to mean he’s not as cold-blooded as he claims to be about his son.
Tucker thinks Nate couldn’t keep his eyes off her and obviously has a thing for her.
Were they really trysting?
She accuses him of being jealous but says that Nate is just a friend.
She knows Tucker doesn’t know what those are but Nate is being protective.
“Little does he know I’m putting in your hands,” he says.
Taking his hand, she assures him Nate doesn’t yield as much influence over her as he does.
They go up to her suite.
She wants to talk about the next steps at Glissade.
He keeps caressing her and promises she hasn’t made a mistake.
