In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Valentine’s Day continues in Genoa City. Sally and Adam have sex, Chelsea and Chloe prepare for their meeting with Lauren, and Faith and Moses have a sweet gift exchange. In the previous episode, Billy’s insomnia paid off and Valentine’s day began.

In Adam’s office, Sally and Adam drink champagne and they talk about organizing their ideas for their work coming up. they laugh at each other’s reaction to the flowers, chocolate and champagne, earlier that came from the advertiser.
Adam asks if it would have been the worst thing in the world if he had.
They stare at each other. Adam thinks they did a good job in navigating the situation. Sally thinks they should stay focused on the most pressing issues. He pulls at his shirt and sets his glass down. He stares at her and she sets her own glass down.
While he closes the door, she goes to him. They start making out. They knock over a plant and smile, before resuming kissing. They make love on the sofa, knocking over files, and afterward, they laugh at the intensity of sex.
Later, they dress and Sally asks if things will get weird for him now. Adam’s been thinking about sex with her for a while and doesn’t see this as a mistake. Neither does she. They kiss and decide to take things as they come. They decide to get some food.
At Crimson Lights, Rey’s sorry that he has to work tonight on the burglary case. Sharon understands. She’s looking forward to him making it up to her. She asks how Chance did on his first day back.
Rey says he wasn’t ready but he refuses to say more. He thinks it’s a good thing and that Chance now knows he was pushing too soon to get back to work. Sharon hopes it means he finds the help he needs.
Rey loves her support. He wants to show her how much he loves her. They canoodle and he offers a back massage.
They kiss and she vows that they’ll celebrate no matter how late he’s home. Faith rushes in, in a tizzy because she hasn’t gotten Moses something for Valentine’s yet.
She rants and says her head will explode and soon, it’ll be too late to do anything. Rey offers the suggestion of a shirt or a mug. It’s the thought that counts. Sharon suggests she make him something. “Seriously, Mom? Posterboard and glitter?” Sharon and Faith try to figure out what to do.

At Society, Noah and Nick talk about their New Hope project. Noah’s anxious to see it come together. He looks around and says the Valentine’s Day decorations are bumming him out.
Nick snarks that it’s just a made-up day that forces people to buy flowers and candy. Noah knows he’s lying. He’s seen his dad go all out in the past. Nick smiles. They agree to hang out tonight.
He runs into Moses on the way out. Moses needs Nick’s help in setting the stage for a lovely Valentine’s Day. Nick knows she loves the bracelet he got her for Christmas.
He asks what Moses is trying to say with the gift. Moses calls her special and he wants to get her something that showcases that. Nick tries to help and Moses comes up with an idea.
Mariah is happy when she walks in on what appears to be her V-Day gift. Tessa assures her it’s just to set the ambiance.
It’s not her real gift. She searches for the gift and Tessa explains it can’t fit into a box with a bow.
It’s too big for that. She talks about her song being written for Mariah and inspired by her. She plays the music and sings. Her beautiful voice rings out until someone knocks at the door. 
Mariah tries to get her to be quiet so that they’ll go away. They knock again and Mariah opens the door to Noah. He’s sorry and hopes he didn’t interrupt but he wanted to bring a housewarming gift.
He sees Tessa’s ‘ambiance’ gift and apologizes. He’ll go. They encourage him to stay and watch them open the gift. They open it and it’s a painting of the two of them. They love it. He wants them to know that he’s rooting for their marriage and adoption plan.
Once Eeyore takes off, Tessa finally sings her song to Mariah. ‘This is not a love song’. Tessa smiles through tears as she sings about choosing Mariah every time.
Chloe arrives at Chelsea’s suite, apologetic that they didn’t get to work last night. Chelsea says it’s fine. She reveals she couldn’t sleep so had a nice talk with Rey at Crimson Lights.
She liked that he doesn’t judge her. Chloe thinks that she’ll find that happen more and more. They discuss Lauren and Chelsea worries she won’t give her another chance since she basically stole from her. Chloe thinks Lauren knows she’s serious about starting fresh.
Back at Crimson Lights, Faith greets Moses. They grin at each other and wish them a happy Valentine’s Day. He pulls out a box of chocolates and says that’s for her dad. She’s puzzled. They give each other cards and concert Tickets to Coltrane.
They talk about how much they love the musician’s work. Nick walks in and he and Sharon reminisce about being teenagers.
Her first gift to Nick was a friendship bracelet. He says it worked. They’re still friends. They realize that both of them gave an idea to get Coltrane tickets to the kids. They share a high five and put an arm around each other. “We’re good,” they agree as Rey walks up and stares, unhappily.
He seems to snap out of it and Noah walks up and watches Rey and Sharon eating chocolates that Moses gave Nick. Noah wanders away.
At Society, Chelsea and Chloe do some work on their new line. Adam and Sally walk in and decide to stay, though they see Chelsea nearby. They go to the women and Adam tells them about Sally being his COO. Chelsea snarks off and Chloe congratulates her.
Sally talks about all of the work and sparks flying in the office. They talk about working with Lauren and Sally wishes them luck. She offers to look at their designs. Chelsea sips her tea as they go back and forth with hidden barbs.
Chelsea thinks it’s good they didn’t tie her up with a contract. “You have no idea,” Sally says. Adam says everything turned out well for them all. They head to their own table and Sally calls this the best Valentine’s Day ever.
