Soaps Spoilers has the Canadian Y&R day ahead recap for Monday, October 25, 2021 episode, which airs in the USA Tuesday, October 26. (Recaps live by 5:45 PM EST daily.) In the previous episode, Abby is in denial about Chance’s death. In this episode, Phyllis goes to a friend for advice, Ashland gets bad news and Noah visits his grandma.
At the park, Sharon asks Billy what he thinks Adam has done this time. Billy believes Adam made a man disappear. He talks a little about what happened and Sharon seems skeptical. She comments that this is about bribery, kidnapping and murder and she doubts Victor would order something like that. What motive would Adam have? She thinks Adam deserves a chance to turn things around the way Billy has. “It’s interesting how things like that get lost in your obsession.”
At Victor’s office, Adam and Victor discuss how Billy was set up perfectly. He’ll be focused on Gaines and not them coming after ChanceComm. Ashland walks in. He’d like to be included in their plan. Adam admits they were going to include him. “We’re interested in destabilizing Chance Comm.” Ash is impressed they’re going on the offensive. He doesn’t want any details that they don’t want Victoria to know. Victor agrees and tells his new son-in-law not to worry his pretty little head about his wifey. Ash asks if they’re confident that Billy will come into their trap. Both Newmans are certain. They’ll weaken Chance Comm and then pull it out from underneath him.

Rey walks in on Noah with his feet up on the coffee table, talking to someone on a call about not knowing what his future will be. Later, Rey helps him toss his empty food cartons into a trash bag as they discuss the changes around town. Victor’s acquired a few more horses in the stables, Rey tells him and Faith has turned her life around. They discuss his help in saving Mariah and how impressed Noah is with his mom keeping the coffee shop afloat. They get some water to drink and talk about family. Rey thinks there will be pressure from family to get him to staying Genoa City.

At the office, Victoria swoons over photos that she shares of Italy with her mother. She’s content. Nikki’s happy and hopes she can work things out with her brother. Victoria doesn’t want to talk about him. She’s in too good of a mood right now. Nikki pushes once more and then stops. She asks about the honeymoon. Victoria wants to surprise Ashland. It’s a private island, with five-star meals and a private masseuse. Nikki thinks it sounds like heaven. Later, once she’s alone, Victoria receives a visit from Ashland and shows him a sneak peek photo of their honeymoon destination. He laughs at her excitement and tells her that her dad and brother are making a move against Chance Comm. She asks why he’s telling her. He doesn’t want there to be secrets between them. Victoria thinks he’s now family since her father is circling the wagons with him.

Phyllis slams drawers and gives Nick the silent treatment until he can’t take it any longer and confronts her. He needs her support. She gives it to him but he insists that she’s giving negativity along with it. She doesn’t like that he’s insinuating that she has poor communication skills and doesn’t care about his feelings. She doesn’t want to talk now. She needs space. She leaves.
Sally sees Jack at Crimson Lights. She brings up how much time he spent with Phyllis in Italy. He doesn’t know what she’s getting at and thinks she has her own new tricky relationship to navigate with her new boss, Adam. He excuses himself. Later, she sees Adam and calls him over to show him a headline that is calling her the next Vera Wang. Adam says nothing. She thinks they need to capitalize it. She thinks they should share sketches and write about the process and how they got it to the bride before the wedding. She thinks people will eat it up. He tells her to talk to Chloe and he’ll go along with whatever she thinks. “Do you not care?” She asks. He doesn’t right now. She’s hurt. He tells her there’s more to Newman Media than her fashion line and she needs to stop taking things so personally. Later, Phyllis walks in and sees Jack and almost walks back out. He waves her in and she says she’s in a mood and doesn’t want to dump on him. He’s fine with it so she explains she’s not sure what’s happening with her and Nick. They crumble at any conflict, she tells her friend. Jack asks if she’s being overly dramatic but she isn’t. “We’re not on the same planet.” Jack tries to give her a pep talk but it doesn’t help. She takes a drink from her witch mug. Jack tells her to have an important, adult conversation with Nick. He doesn’t want her giving up. She’s grateful. Meanwhile, Sally sits along outside, looking at Adam’s number on her cell. She sees Jack and Phyllis and snorts. She goes to sit and Billy asks if he can join her. She lets him and he asks if she knows anything about Jesse Gaines. She doesn’t and then tells him she has nothing to say to him because her loyalty lies with Newman. Billy smiles and wonders how long that’ll last.
At Society, Victoria runs into her father. She tells him she’s fine with him going after her ex. She’s done protecting Billy. She and Ash go to their seats and Nick walks in. He tells his dad he’s in a mood. He’s questioning his place in this family. Victor is sorry. He asks why. Nick says it’s telling that his dad doesn’t get it. Nick calls it a push-pull dynamic that Mom has tried to mediate. He’s exhausted by it. Nearby, Victoria shows Ashland more photos of the honeymoon destination. They can escape after they get through the mountain of paperwork. He gets a call from his oncologist. “What do the latest tests reveal?” He asks. He wants to discuss it at home but he’s not reacting to treatments as everyone hoped. The chemo isn’t working. She thinks that means they’ll fight harder now. They’ll find an experimental drug.
Noah visits Nikki at the ranch. They toured the grounds and she invites him to go riding. They discuss his art and the branding work he’s done for Newman Media. He might like to do a little of that here. Nikki’s good with that. Then he can stick around town. Noah jokes that it didn’t take her long to jump on that. She usually gets what she wishes for.
At Newman, Adam is on a call talking about how Sally’s a valuable asset to Newman Media. After they disconnect, he stares at her phone number on his cell then takes off.
Back at Crimson Lights, Billy calls Adam as savvy and dangerous as they come and suggests she protect herself. She admits he’s not the first who has warned her of this. She can hold her own. Adam eavesdrops from nearby.
Phyllis goes home and texts Nick to ask if he’s ready to talk, and then she has downstairs bring up everything in their honeymoon package. She takes out a sexy nightie and Nick tells her he’s staying at the house since Christian has a cold.
