Thursday, Nov 30, 2023: Today on General Hospital, Dante has questions for Ava, Dex relays a message to Sonny, Portia gives TJ advice, Sonny makes plans for Christmas Eve, and James enlists Cody’s help.
Wednesday’s GH recap: Sonny Warns Ava Could be the Prime Suspect & Someone Points the Finger at Her
At General Hospital, Portia encourages TJ to talk to him.
He thinks he’s made a mistake with Molly.
He can’t imagine going ahead with having another surrogate right away.
He told her he wants to put it on hold and that’s the mistake he thinks he made.
Portia agrees with him. There’s never a perfect time and if they want a baby they should take a leap of faith.
TJ argues that they’re mourning the first baby.
She knows.
They’ll have to find another surrogate which could take time. She wishes him luck no matter what they decide.
Molly wanders down to the park and wistfully watches Willow play with Amelia.
She approaches and they chat about the weather and that Wiley’s in school full time.
She wanted to spend time on her day off with Amelia who spends all her time in the Q nursery.
She’s glad Molly joined them.
Kristina holds the little girl as they discuss Willow’s c-section that came early and Willow offers to talk about the surrogacy. Losing her son was rough and it helped to hold Wiley.
Kristina asks if she went through a phase where she didn’t want to try again.
Willow puts the baby in the stroller and they talk about how good things are with Nina.
Willow wishes Michael would lose his old grudge against Nina.
At Maxie’s house, Felicia and Maxie continue to argue about her bailing her daughter out of debt.
Felicia offers to ask Mac to put the desk together.
James rushes in and says he saddled his own pony today with Cody’s help. He thinks Cody’s the coolest.
Cody wanders in and they talk about how James thinks riding lessons are better than recess.
James admits he asked Cody to assemble Georgie’s desk.
Maxie’s embarrassed but Cody wants to show off his handyman skills. Later, James returns to drag Maxie into the other room. The desk is assembled.
Cody and Felicia talk about how James is a great kid who will be “an awesome rider.”
Felicia talks about growing up on a hacienda as a kid. It runs in the family.
Cody fixes a cupboard that’s squeaking and as Cody works, James asks if he can fix something else and then build him a treehouse. Maxie intervenes. Cody will be there all night at this rate.
James is good with that. He should sleep over.
He has two Star Wars sleeping bags! Maxie says that he has to go back to work.
James worries that since Grandpa is gone, he’s the only boy in the house.
He wishes Cody was his brother. Maxie always wanted a brother but says they’ll settle for him being a good friend.
Once the cabinet is fixed, James grins. Now he can sneak candy and his mom won’t know. Felicia flashes to Cody telling Mac he’s not his son and seems upset.
Kristina and Sam arrive home and discuss their shopping trip and how much she has to buy for teenage boys and Scout. She sees a pamphlet for Westwood.
Drew’s pushing for Scout to go and she wants to please her dad.
They get smoothies and Kristina remembers enjoying her time at Westwood.
Sam says Scout’s thriving where she is but her sister touts the great swim team they have.
Sam worries about her kid since Scout had a terrible time when Drew was away.
Still, she’s unsure if she should refuse this. She’s afraid to rock the boat. Kristina says to rock it. Sam’s issue is that Drew is demanding this.
Kristina thinks he’s tryig to make up for lost time but Sam thinks there’s something different about Drew.
“I didn’t see it at first and I can’t quite put my finger on it but something about him has changed.”
They go on about this at length and still, Sam’s not sure what to do.
At Metro Court, Michael looks for Sonny who Nina says isn’t there.
When he appears, he’s glad to see them both.
They talk about their busy schedules but Sonny wants them to spend time together as a family.
There’ll be Carly’s Christmas dinner and The Q’s Christmas morning.

November GH comings and goings
Sonny suggests they come over Christmas Eve.
Nina thinks it’s a great idea. Sonny will make Gloria, Lois mother’s ravioli recipe.
They talk about this at length and laugh at how Sonny can’t make his as good as Gloria’s.
Sonny excuses himself and Michael takes the moment to snipe at Nina for “using Sonny” to get around him. She tells him she’s not.
This is on Sonny and their lives intersect too much for Michael to continue this vendetta.
Michael reminds her that his mother’s life intersected in his too but that didn’t stop Nina from squealing.
He wants to expose her and won’t because it’ll hurt his dad and Willow.
In the hall, Dex tells Sonny that they heard from Pikeman.
Back at the table, Sonny walks in as Nina and Michael continue to argue and she asks him what he’ll do if she refuses to play by his rules.
Sonny asks what’s going on.
Nina lies that she asked what he was getting Wiley for Christmas.
Sonny wants to take his son to the Yankees game and they make plans to do that before Michael goes.
Sonny worries about Nina but she reassures him. He appreciates her patience with his son.
Ava arrives home to Wyndemere and Giles takes her coat. Her mail is on the desk.
He offers to make her a martini but she’s not in the mood.
He leaves and she heads inside and makes herself a drink as she flashes back to Sonny asking if she killed Austin.
The doorbell rings Dante’s arrival worries her.
He enters and asks when she last saw Austin.
When he tells her he’s dead, she acts disinterested.
He asks if she knew and she skirts the question so he tells her the Pawtucket PD thinks the killer is in Port Charles.
Ava says he has a lot of connections to others in PC but Dante points out that she was kidnapped by his cousin Mason which is a connection. She tells him Austin visited her at the gallery and left before her.
She left after midnight but security footage won’t show that.
She left out the back and the camera is being upgraded. Dante realizes she can’t prove she was at the gallery after midnight.
The Pawtuck PD will have more questions.
She’ll need a lawyer.
He goes and once she’s alone, she opens the mail and finds a letter.
It reads, “You’re welcome.”
Enclosed is a photo of dead Austin.
Ava’s mouth drops open in shock.
Dante arrives home and Sam tells him she and Drew hit their first co-parenting snag and she’s not sure what to do with it.
Michael arrives at the park and snuggles Amelia as they talk about Kristina dealing with her surrogate’s miscarriage.
Kristina sits on a park bench alone, looking through a file of surrogates.
She flashes to holding Amelia and starts to sob.
She drops the file and cries.
Kristina finds her and rushes over, hugging her.
