In the Thursday, April 14, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Paris and Zende arrive at the hospital to get the latest on Steffy and Sheila urges caution in trying to get Steffy to remember what happened.
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Sheila saved Taylor’s life and Steffy woke up.
At the hospital, Liam asks Hope who would do this to Steffy and Finn. Bridget breaks it to them that Steffy has regained consciousness. Hope assumes this means everything will be okay.
Bridget tells them that Steffy still has a fight ahead but she is cautiously optimistic. Liam hopes the staff knows about Steffy’s trouble with opioids.
Once Bridget steps away, Zende and Paris arrive and Liam tells them the good news. Hope realizes no one told the office what happened. Paris is shocked when they confirm Finn is dead.
Zende says Finn was a good man. Paris asks what the circumstances of the attack were. Liam explains the cops think it was a robbery gone wrong. It all seems strange. No one know what Steffy knows.
“Who would do something like this?” Paris wonders, assuming it must have been a stranger. Zende tries to piece together what happened. He doesn’t want to imagine what losing Steffy would do to Ridge.
Liam repeats that Bridget is cautiously optimistic. So is Hope. Paris is sure she would never leave her kids. Zende asks Liam how he is holding up in this nightmare. This is not something that Liam was mentally prepared to face.
“You have to cherish every moment,” Paris says. Zende doesn’t understand who would do something like this.
Left alone, Liam tells Hope he’s beyond grateful Steffy is awake but still processing things.
Pacing with Zende, Paris wonders how Finn could have died before teaching his daughter to throw a football. Liam realizes he never told Finn what a great dad he was. He’s going to have to tell Kelly what happened.
Hope says that Steffy will fight her way back to help with the kids. Groaning, Liam complains about how senseless this is. Zende doesn’t see the sense in making sense of the random.
They all hope the cops will identify who did this. Paris looks at pictures of Finn and Steffy on her phone and shakes her head. She can’t imagine moving on without him. “Finn was so fun,” she tells Zende. He didn’t deserve to die in an alley.
Hope tells Liam what really hurts is this was the happiest she ever saw Steffy. Now that happy life is broken. They will all be there for whatever she needs.
Liam hopes that getting shot won’t change her. She’s so fearless. Hope tries to get them to focus on the positive.

Steffy wakes up in her hospital bed surrounded by her family. “She…ila,” she groans. Her family are just thrilled she’s awake. Ridge says he had a word with God and guided her back.
“What happened?” asks Steffy. She tries to say more but can’t. They urge her to stay quiet to keep her strength. Her father explains she was shot. “Shot?” Steffy asks. Sheila fidgets across the room.
Sheila urges them to take things slowly and not jeopardize her recovery. That sets Ridge off. She tells them there is plenty of time for Steffy to remember. He’s surprised she doesn’t want to know who shot her immediately so they can make sure they go to jail.
Steffy asks what happened again. Ridge asks if she remembers anything. As a nurse, Sheila urges them not to over-stress her right now. Ridge keeps pushing his daughter to remember.
Barely conscious Steffy looks at Sheila. Her father tells her there is a lunatic on the loose with a gun and asks why she was at Il Giardino’s. Sheila urges him to stop but he gets her to back off.
As Steffy tries to form words, her family promise no one will hurt her.
