In the Friday, December 3, 2021, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge tells Hope to get out of the cabin if she wants Deacon in her life, while Finn talks to Sheila about Jack and Steffy and Thomas discuss her husband not being naive. We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Deacon asked Brooke if she remembered their connection.
At the cabin, Hope cleans up the kids toys as Ridge pounds on the door. She tells him to come in and he blasts her. “We can’t do this anymore. Deacon is not allowed in our homes or our lives.” He calls him a con-artist and Hope reminds Ridge he’s a former con-artist. She’s not trying to create problems. Ridge interrupts. Deacon’s the one causing problems.
He asks why nobody is listening to him. Brooke isn’t. He asks Hope to listen to him and do the right thing. Hope tells Ridge that she heard him but that’s his choice.
Ridge understands that she thinks she can handle pain. He still refuses the man in his life. She lives in the home and the number one rule is to keep the family safe. If she wants to be with Deacon, she needs to find a new place to live.” Hope asks if he’s suggesting she move off of “my mother’s property.”
Ridge says it was her idea to begin with. He loves having her there with Liam and “those crazy kids.” If she needs Deacon in her life she should go. Hope asks if this is about his needs. He yells that he sees that clown and all he sees is Brooke’s biggest betrayal and what he’s capable of. “It’s about me, it’s about my sanity, it’s about my marriage, it’s abut your marriage.”
At Brooke’s, Deacon asks if she recalls their passion. She reminds him this was the worst time in her life. She betrayed her daughter. Deacon thinks something good came of the scandal and pain. Despise the shame, “We made Hope.” Brooke says he’s right. She’ll always regret the pain she caused but she’ll never regret having Hope. Deacon can’t take credit but says, “Daddy’s proud.” Brooke laughs. “That’s cute.” She knows she came down ion him hard when he returned to town. She wants to support her husband “for the most part,” but also wants to support Hope who wants Deacon in her life.
Deacon is overcome. She tears up as he admits he can’t tell her what this means to him. She puts her hands up and clarifies she’s supporting Hope. “Not you.” Deacon doesn’t want to hurt her marriage. Brooke thinks Ridge needs to accept reality that Deacon’s Hope’s dad and that they all need to have a relationship with him since Hope wants it. “That means you’re welcome here.”
She asks him to watch who he associates like “psychopaths like Sheila.” He tells her it’s done. She hopes he has no hidden agenda. He only wants Brooke’s happiness and if it’s Ridge, “so be it.”
He thinks about the back and forth with Taylor and asks how she puts up with his ego. Brooke tells him she and Ridge will be fine. They talk about how she once wanted the bad boy. He asks her to admit it. That the bad boy was a huge turn on. “The best sex of your life.” Brooke thinks it’s time he left. They should leave the past behind them. He asks her to stop thinking about their memories as he thinks of making love to her. She sends him to the cabin.

In the Forrester Creations office, Charlene, a model (Emma Smith) shows off changes to Thomas’ dress design. She invites him out and he brushes her off. “Maybe another time.” She goes.
Steffy watches the exchange and says she is glad her husband isn’t working there. Models would hit on him all the time. Thomas thinks others would hit on him at the hospital. She shrugs. She’s not the jealous type. She talks about how Finn’s doing with the news that Jack’s his dad. Thomas is frustrated along with his sister about Sheila being around. Steffy boasts that Finn isn’t naive and knows he can’t ever trust her.
At the hospital, Sheila tells Finn that she’s trying hard to respect his boundaries. “Steffy’s boundaries,” she clarifies. She wanted to see how he’s doing. He tells her this has been a lot to process. Sheila asks how she can’t. “You’re my son.” He tells her it’s been difficult knowing his dad lied to him his whole life.
Sheila thinks he’d have taken it to his grave if it were up to him. “You could have told me,” Finn says. Sheila calls Jack intimidating and he asked her not to. If Finn heard it from her, she’d have been accused of being manipulative and interfering ion his marriage. Finn appreciates her convincing him to tell his secret. “Thank you,” he says.
She offers to listen if he needs to talk but he lets her know it’s impossible. She thinks the future might change things since Hope let Deacon back into her life. Finn calls that a different situation. Sheila is jealous of him. She wants a chance to bond with her son.
At the cabin, Deacon eavesdrops as Ridge tells Hope that he can’t allow a man he despises to come into their house. It’s affecting his marriage. It’s critical to him. He’ll help Hope any way he can. “If you want to be with your dad, it won’t be here. Grab your kids, grab your stuff and move on.”
