In the Tuesday, November 9, 2021, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon tries to explain himself, Katie lashes out at Quinn, while Thomas tries to explain his friendship with Paris to Douglas. Soaps Spoilers has Friday’s B&B recap where Brooke defended Deacon to Ridge.
At their house, Ridge is shocked that Brooke is “defending this guy after everything he has done.” She hasn’t forgotten what he’s done but Hope wants him to stay and he’s her father. There’s nothing they can do to change that. She asks him to calm down. He can’t have “this criminal” in this house. Deacon reminds Ridge he paid his debt to society. Ridge looks at his wife and asks why “this man” is speaking. Hope asks Ridge to let him talk. Deacon says he’s changed. Ridge shrugs him off since he’s associating with Sheila. Deacon says he broke things up with her. He just wants to be a father to his child. Hope asks her step-dad if that’s really too much to ask. She believes Deacon has changed. Ridge asks them to consider the children. Hope always puts her kids first. Ridge says it makes him happy. He doesn’t think either woman buy that Deacon has changed. He asks Brooke to tell him to leave and never return. Deacon says to Brooke that he’ll always be in her debt for bringing up such an amazing daughter. Ridge hopes his speech is done. He opens the door and Deacon goes.
At Forrester, Katie tells Quinn it’s so easy to blame the Logans for her troubles. Quinn shrugs. Every time she turns around they’re there. The truth never gets old. Katie smirks. Quinn refuses to apologize for her feelings. She’s sick of her “showing up at my house night and day,” and “Brooke yapping in Eric’s ear,” in addition to “Donna being extremely inappropriate to my husband.” Katie calls them Eric’s friends. Quinn thinks she has a funny idea of friendship. “I could say the same of your idea of fidelity,” Katie quips. She asks Quinn to take accountability. Quinn has. Katie asks if she thinks her struggles with Eric would magically disappear if they weren’t around. She reminds Quinn she ruined her marriage on her own. Quinn took her shots and tells her to lay into Carter. He can take it. Carter stands there saying nothing. The women go back and forth, repeating the same dialogue. Katie asks why she’s in this office reminding Carter of why she wanted a future with him. She asks if she’s reconsidered and is leaving Eric for Carter. Quinn thinks that Katie would love that, so she can pave the way to install Donna in her place. Katie just wants Eric to be happy. Quinn thinks if she left Eric, the Logans could douse her portrait with lighter fluid and have a bonfire. Carter runs a hand over his face and listens to the harpies. Quinn explains she’s not going back to Carter. Suddenly, Katie calls her response insensitive, considering he still has feelings for Quinn. Quinn’s shocked she’s defending Carter. Katie calls him a good and decent man. Quinn can’t believe she’s irredeemable but Carter gets cut some slack. Katie snarks, “Well, if the shoe fits.” Quinn calls it a double standard. Katie barks that she was the instigator. He deserves a woman who puts him first.

At Paris and Thomas’ pad, Douglas shows them a photo of Space that he created. He tells them he wants to be an astronaut and a soccer coach. “What if you could be a soccer coach in space?” Paris asks. “Woah, that’d be awesome,” Douglas says, incredulous. He goes into the other room to do homework and Thomas asks Paris for being so amazing to the kid. She finds him adorable and thinks he’s an amazing parent. It means a lot going from someone as kind and compassionate as her. “You’re kind of like Hope that way.” Douglas reappears and asks Paris if she’s his daddy’s girlfriend. She reveals she isn’t. He’s confused since they live together. Thomas calls them roommates. They explain the house in the canyon deal going through and why they’re staying with each other. They overexplain it. The kid shrugs. He asks if Paris will move into the new house. They explain they’ll still be friends.
