In the Wednesday, April 20, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Quinn and Carter admit they miss each other, Steffy is convinced she’s still married to Liam, and Hope assures her mom she’s not worried about her husband.
We also have Tuesday’s B&B recap where Steffy thought she and Liam were still married and Quinn and Carter admitted they miss each other.
At the hospital, Bridget and Taylor talk about patients who have managed to block out their trauma totally. It’s tempting to hope Steffy will be spared the memory, but Finn is gone.
Sheila eavesdrops as the doctors discuss how important it is not to pressure Steffy to remember. When Taylor is left alone, Sheila approaches and asks after her daughter. Taylor confirms she’s not remembering anything.
She promises they will find out who did this and put them behind bars and then gives her a hug.
In her room, Steffy strokes Liam’s face and calls him her sweet husband. When Bridget walks in and hears this, she gets worried. Bridget asks if she remembers anything about the night.
When she suggests they let her rest, Steffy doesn’t want Liam to leave her side. He assures her he will be right outside the door. “I love you so much!” she sobs. “Yeah,” he says, patting her hand.
In the waiting room, Hope assures Brooke that she’s not worried about Liam. Her mom warns that trouble could come when Steffy actually remembers what happened. She’ll need a lot of support and that includes Liam. Hope says that’s as it should be.
Brooke tells her daughter she’s not trying to make her feel insecure. Hope understands that her husband and Steffy have a family and love each other, but his ring is on her finger, not Steffy’s.
They wonder how Steffy will handle learning that her husband is gone forever.
Hope and Brooke are surprised when they spot Sheila with Taylor. The doctor insists she has every right to be there. Ridge and Liam come out with Bridget. The doctor explains that Steffy’s memory deficit is more problematic than they thought.
Ridge adds that Steffy was very grateful to see Liam and he explains that his ex thinks they are still married. Hope shakes her head and Brooke takes a deep breath. Sheila suppresses a smirk.
Steffy doesn’t seem to recollect Finn or their child. Taylor doesn’t think they can tell her about them while she’s in such a state of trauma. Bridget agrees with this.
The nurse checks on Steffy, who asks her to get her husband back in there right away. She goes out and relays the request. Liam recognizes things are fragile so they should just go along with what Steffy thinks.
When he returns to Steffy’s bedside, she tells him how scared she is. She’s been shot. He assures her everything will be okay. Steffy makes him promise he won’t leave her alone. Hope watches them through the window and looks worried.

In his office at Forrester Creations, Quinn admits to Carter that she misses him too. He smirks and says he’ll try not to let it go to his head. Carter repeats that he’s ended things with Paris… for her sake.
Quinn is glad to hear it’s over between them. It’s best for everyone. If the Forresters found out he was luring poor Paris into his love nest… He says it wasn’t like that. This all sounds familiar to her.
What happened between them is in the past, but she does miss their talks. She doesn’t have a lot of friends and there has definitely been a void since they stopped spending time together.
No one understands her the way he does. Although she is very happy to be back with her husband, he has been working from home and sleeping in the guest house.
She loves Eric and it committed to him. Carter asks if there is still a problem she can’t talk about.
Quinn admits it has always been easy between them and she only ever had to be herself. Carter never wanted to change her. He’s sure Eric doesn’t either. She doesn’t want to talk about this anymore.
She admits she’s just missed her friend. They see each other at work but it’s not the same. Carter thinks there is no woman in the world like her. She’s an original among originals and he will never forget it.
After she walks out, he smiles to himself.
