In the Monday, May 23, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Li refuses to have a memorial and has a strange reaction when Steffy presses the issue, and when she goes home, it’s clear why. Finn’s alive.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where Brooke visited Sheila in jail and Sheila refused to apologize for being behind her falling off the wagon.
At the Cliffhouse, Steffy still can’t comprehend that Sheila killed Finn.
Steffy admits she and Liam told the kids. Kelly was brave and confused. She thinks Hayes senses something, though he’s too little to understand.
Taylor asks if she’ll have a memorial service.
Steffy wants to honor his life and she wants Li involved. Taylor admits she already reached out to Finn’s mama and she’s on her way. Steffy’s glad because she reached out and Li didn’t return her call.
She took on the end of life details and disappeared.
Steffy didn’t get to see him before he was cremated. Taylor’s sorry.
She gets the door to Li moments later. Li apologizes for not contacting her. Steffy brushes that off and lets her know that the learned who murdered her son. The kids are with a sitter, but Steffy says Li can see Hayes anytime she wants.
Li’s happy to hear. Steffy is slow to tell her that Sheila Carter murdered him. Li looks to be in shock. “How could she shoot him? That woman gave birth to him. Why would she shot him?”
Steffy details everything down to him saving her life.
Li’s anger turns to tears. She’s not surprised. “That’s my boy. A protector. A healer, a loving husband and father with so much left to give.” Steffy nods. She says Sheila’s in jail. Li cries as she tells Steffy she can’t imagine a life without her son.
Steffy brings up the memorial but Li becomes angry and says they don’t need to do that now.
They can do it anytime. Steffy looks confused and asks if they’ll scatter his ashes. Li picks up her purse and says she’ll deal with everything herself. She takes off before Taylor or Steffy can say another word.
At their cabin, Liam’s thoughts are with Steffy. Hope reminds him she has all sorts of support in her family. He tells her he’s not taking them for granted. He holds her hand as she lets her know.
He can’t imagine what Steffy’s going through.
Hope feels for Sheila. “I mean, she’s still a human being.” She talks about her shooting Finn and Steffy and says she doesn’t deserve to see the light of day again. Liam’s heart is broken. Hayes will grow up without a father.
He talks up Finn embracing his daughter.
“He loved her.” Liam will be grateful to him for that. He wishes Kelly had more time. He takes off to Steffy’s.

As Liam leaves, Dollar Bill turns up at the cabin and Hope tells him that Liam’s on his way to see Steffy.
She’s okay with that. Steffy needs all the help she can get. Bill asks why. Hope says they just learned Sheila is her and Finn’s shooter. Hope tells $Bill everything. “He went out a hero. Not that it’s any consolation,” Bill says.
Hope says Liam went to check on Steffy since he’s worried.
Back at the Cliff house, Steffy reels from Li’s rather strange reaction. She got a weird vibe from the woman. Taylor shrugs. People deal differently. Liam turns up to help her. She asks how she moves on. He has no idea but is sure she’ll figure it out.
It’s her thing.
She’s not sure she can this time. “I watched the life drain out of my husband.” Liam tells her to think of what Finn would want. She thinks to have the best life. She cries.
Li arrives home and holds Finn’s photo. “Sheila Carter,” she says. Her face is a mask of anger. She calls it a cold, cruel world and thinks he’s better off where he is. As long as there’s a chance, she won’t give up.
She brushes a cloth over her son’s head as we see Finn is still alive. She looks over at the monitors as her son lays in what looks to be a coma.
