B&B Opinion: Cat Fights, Loose Morals and Gaslighting
At Brooke’s, Deacon yells that Ridge doesn’t deserve her. Brooke knows he’s trying to make her feel better but she has to believe he will come back to her no matter how many “fake outs” she sees from him and Taylor. Brooke will make him realize they can still be a happily married couple.
She tells Deacon that she left her husband with Taylor so they could talk about Steffy. Coming home to Deacon twice has made her realize she knows what to do.
Taylor’s had enough time with Ridge. “I am his wife, not Taylor and he is going to come back to me,” she says.
Maybe tonight! She grabs her purse and keys.
At Eric’s, Taylor is happy she made Ridge happy. He agree she does, especially in this challenging times.
They talk about him not wanting to hurt anyone. “She’s my wife,” he reminds Doc. Taylor knows and says that’s why they hang around. They know he has a big heart.
At home, Taylor looks at a photo of Ridge. Thomas arrives and she plans a dinner with him and Douglas. She says to warn him that all her grandma attention will be focused on him.
Thomas laughs and then asks about how she is with Steffy and the kids gone. She misses them but spent time with Ridge. Thomas is upset that his dad isn’t living there with her. Taylor says he moved in with his dad and not Brooke.
She calls it a big step and then shares that Brooke interrupted for a time. She mocks Brooke, reminding Thomas that she’s married. Thomas plays along and says there’s something in their vows that says not to make out with other people.
He wonders if she would have grabbed a fork and joined in with their dinner. Taylor admits he told Brooke to leave, something that interests Thomas.
Ridge comes down the stairs at Eric’s to find Brooke waiting for him. He smiles. She says she knows he and Taylor had a lot to discuss but so do they. She misses him and she knows he misses her, too.
He smiles but says nothing. Of course he misses her. He misses his home. She wants it to be a place where they are happy and not one where Deacon stops by. She’s been thinking about her drinking and Sheila’s part in it.
Ridge will never forgive her for that. Brooke remembers pushing Hope for a relationship with her daughter and she ignored Ridge’s concerns. She apologizes for not being considerate.
She still feels responsible for kissing Deacon and letting him spend the night. From now on, Deacon’s not welcomed at their house.
Back at the club, Eric and Donna finish sex with the honey bottle nearby. He can barely catch his breath. She asks if he’s alright but he says he’s fine. They’re not very good at breaking up. She laughs. “I know.” They snuggle.
