In the Tuesday, February 8, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy shows Taylor the proof that Deacon left Brooke’s the next morning, and Ridge continues to comfort Brooke.
We also have Monday’s B&B recap where Steffy and Thomas exposed Brooke’s cheating to Taylor.
At the Cliffhouse, Steffy and Finn make out. When they stop, they wonder why Brooke and Deacon were together. Taylor appears. She too has questions about what possessed Brooke to turn to Deacon and betray Ridge.
They sit at the table and Taylor learns that Brooke was trying to hide it by telling Douglas to keep it quiet. She says this patter with Brooke never seams to end.
Steffy feels that her mom belongs with her dad and the Forrester family. Taylor sighs but her daughter insists it’s true. Steffy shows her mother the footage of Deacon leaving Brooke’s and says Brooke won’t get away with this.
She thinks this could be what wakes him up. Taylor has no desire to break them up. She hoped they could be friends but “there she is, back to her old lies.” Taylor decides she’ll tell Ridge.
From the stairs at home, Ridge watches Brooke get coffee and mope. He’s worried about her but she tells him she’s fine. He doesn’t agree. The mistake happened a month ago.
She should give herself credit that she hasn’t fallen off the wagon since. Hope appears in the patio and Ridge asks her to help him convince Brooke that it was a mistake that she should move on from.
Ridge calls his wife a strong, capable and amazing woman who is loved by so many. None of them are perfect.
He tells her she gets up with grace and dignity when she falls. He hugs her and tells her she always says there is nothing they can’t get through. She wishes she could believe it.
He hopes she doesn’t think he’s going anywhere. They kiss and he gets a text. He has to go and invites her along. She refuses. Once he’s gone, Brooke decides she’ll tell Ridge the truth. Hope’s shocked.
Brooke doesn’t feel she has a choice. Hope thinks it’s a good idea and is sure he’ll forgive her. Later, Brooke texts Ridge to talk when he gets home. Steffy shows up.
She calls Brooke a lucky woman to be with her father. “Yes, yes I am,” Brooke agrees. Steffy says her dad has stood by her for her scandals and betrayals. “I’m sorry?” Brooke asks.
Steffy snarks that not all men would do that. Brooke is offended. She asks where this is coming from. Steffy wants someone committed to him. That’ll never be Brooke.
