General Hospital recap for Friday, May 6, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Dex applies for a job with Sonny, Valentin discovers the incriminating photos, and Diane urges Scott and Nina to drop their case before it’s too late.
We also have Thursday’s GH recap where Dante told Willow that Harmony was a killer and not her biological mother.
In the guesthouse, Dante informs Willow that Harmony is not her biological mother. She refuses to believe it. Carly confirms that Harmony confessed it. Michael says this would explain why she attacked his mom and Alexis.
Willow stares and repeats it’s a lie and Neil was delusional. Sitting down with her, Carly tells her how desperate her mom was to keep her secret. As her eyes dart around, Willow processes this and realizes Harmony was never her mother.
This explains why she had no real birth certificate. Willow starts freaking out as she realizes her whole childhood was a lie. Carly won’t say more. Dante asks Willow to take a blood test to confirm things.
After the cop leaves, Carly tells Michael to stay strong for Willow and assures her the answers will come when she’s ready. She promised Harmony that she would protect her and she will.
“Protect me from what?” Willow wonders. Wiley returns and hugs her. Michael tells him to go and see his toys in the house and they will meet him soon. Willow says that Wiley is lucky his pain at losing Harmony will heal.
She wonders again who her birth mother could be.
At General Hospital, Brando and Sasha wait for her CT results. He takes off to find TJ. She gets the shakes and the doctor enters. He says her CT looks fine but asks if she needs something for the headaches.
TJ prescribes a non-habit forming medication as Brando returns. They assure him the drugs are safe. The men leave her alone.
Sasha dumps her purse and starts searching for something. The paparazzo pops up and asks if she’s missing something. She claims her pills are for migraines. He doesn’t buy it and just wants his memory card back.
He offers to delete his incriminating photos of her and tells her he can get her what she needs. It can be their little secret.
Curtis bumps into Jordan. That’s awkward. He explains there are things that TJ needs to know about Marshall. Ashford admits that he had to look elsewhere to get his father’s arrest record.
She doesn’t want to know how he got access to it because she still cares about him and doesn’t want to see him get into trouble. Was it worth whatever price he paid to find out what he learned?
TJ pops up and asks what he learned about Marshall. Jordan notices how tired her son looks. He was going to head home but they got busy. She gives him a hug and takes off.
Curtis and TJ sit down. The doctor shows him the clarinet and note that his grandfather left. Curtis tells him Marshall left town because of him.
As she gets on the elevator, Jordan bumps into Dante. He tells her what happened with Willow. She didn’t agree to a DNA sample yet. Jordan tells him to ask again tomorrow and concentrate on finding out who Willow’s birth mother was.

In his office, Sonny is on his phone with Brick. Frank shows in Dex (played by Evan Hofer), who hands Sonny his resume. Sonny rips it up.
The mobster doesn’t rely on resumes and needs to get to know him better before he decides if he’s the right fit. The most important thing in his business is trust. If that’s a problem, they stop now.
Corinthos asks if he is able to take orders. Dex just wants to prove himself. Sonny tells him being smart is more important than being tough. Dex explains he has combat experience and can handle himself.
Sonny likes his attitude but that only goes so far. Brando interrupts and Sonny sends Dex out to wait at the coffee bar.
Brando starts to vent to Sonny about how hard it is to help Sasha. He hopes he has some idea for what he can do. Sonny encourages him to let her know that she’s the first thing in his life.
He needs to respect her if she claims she’s okay, but he can’t ignore any warning signs. As he shows him out, Sonny urges him to take care of Sasha while he takes care of everything else.
Sitting on the patio, Gladys tries to figure out how to use the memory card she stole from the paparazzo. Valentin pops up, grabs it from her hand, slips it in and accesses the files.
He instantly recognizes Sasha and tells Gladys how had these photos make her look. The Cassadine shows her one photo of Sasha with pills. Gladys says she’s grieving and on medication.
Valentin reminds her she has a public history of drug abuse. She’s the public face of the company and this could have an impact on his investment. Gladys won’t discuss this and walks off.
Sasha joins Gladys at a table, relieved to see she still has the memory card. She tells her that the paparazzo wants it back. Valentin scowls across the room at them. Gladys promises to protect Sasha.
Valentin makes a call, worrying about Drew’s stake in ELQ. Carly stops by his table and they chat about what happened to Willow. He suggests that she make things easier by making peace with Nina.
Carly wonders how Nina can inspire so much devotion from rational men. Valentin encourages her to end all the hurt while they can.
Nina rushes into the salon after spotting Scott getting his manicure. She startles him. He says he’s busy. She needs his attention immediately and reminds him he should be working on her case.
Since she got an advanced copy of The Invader story about her, she’s in a panic. The lawyer wants her to cool it but continues to worry about what it will do to her reputation.
Scott points out that compared to Harmony, she looks like Mother Theresa. Willow and Michael are probably a mess right now so they should go to their lawyer and try to cut a deal.
Diane arrives just in time to hear this and tells Scott that they will see him in court. She dismisses the relevance of Harmony and reminds him that the only relevant issue is that Nina is biologically related to Wiley.
Diane urges Nina to drop her case before The Invader story is published if she really cares about Wiley. They bicker and Diane reminds Nina of her history of mental illness, threatening she will be publicly humiliated if she continues to pursue this.
Nina threatens that if Michael and Willow drag them through the mud, she will drag them down with her.
Diane is about to walk out when Nina begs her not to punish Wiley. Diane doubts the court will see depriving Wiley of Nina’s presence in his life is a punishment.
After the redhead walks out, Nina tells Scott this is all-out war. He hopes that means she’ll let him put Sonny on the stand. She tells him to leave Sonny out of this but Willow and Michael are fair game.
There must be something about Willow they can uncover…
