General Hospital recap for Monday, August 29, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Anna question Sonny about Victor, Felicia and Mac wonder why Dominique would have given up her son, and Nikolas finds a bloody and disoriented Liz.
We also have Friday’s GH recap where Nikolas confessed to Spencer, Ava was attacked with a hook, and Austin and Mason threatened each other.
When Joss arrives at the Quartermaine house, she notices Nina in the kitchen. She’s just dropping something off for Olivia. Joss forbids her from going near Wiley and orders her out.
Sonny wanders in and tries to calm things down. Joss says the only reason she’s not slapping Nina is because he helped Trina. She storms out. Nina is ready to leave. Sonny stops her.
The way Joss and Michael treat her is rude and sad. She doesn’t want another confrontation. He begs her to stay a little because then they can leave for a nightcap.
Anna interrupts, eager to talk to Sonny. Nina goes out for air. Anna tells Sonny she knows he keeps an eye on the various illegal activities in town. She wonders if knows why Victor is around.
If he had any information, he would give it to her, but he doesn’t. The only thing he knows about is Victor breaking Spencer out of Spring Ridge. He has no proof of it.
He admires Spencer for finally taking the blame for his actions. She thinks Spencer is lucky to have a role model like him. Sonny appreciates her saying that.
They discuss his divorce and irreconcilable differences. She tells him it’s not wrong to follow his heart with Nina.
In the stable, Britt slaps Cody for kissing her. She claims he was only trying to distract her from his questions about her family.
He wonders why she’s so defensive and accuses her of being unable to admit she’s into him. That doesn’t go over well. He apologizes.
She growls and then admits she’s attracted to him. Sometimes she even likes him and that’s terrifying. He doesn’t understand.
Britt explains she met someone last year who she could share with and he never judged her. He was killed. Cody is sorry.
When he kissed her, she felt something so she slapped him. He suggests that if they kissed again, nothing might happen and she’d feel better.
They test it out and kiss again. After they kiss, they agree to another date.

Kelly Thiebaud exits and the latest GH comings and goings
Spencer stumbles onto the deck looking wasted. Finn and Valentin help him inside and give him some water.
Spencer lashes out at him, so Valentin walks off.
Spencer can’t really blame Valentin for his problems. The father that he hero-worshipped was likely never real in the first place.
Finn tells him that parents are flawed human beings. That doesn’t mean they love you any less. Spencer says that’s not how things are shaking out with his father.
Victor interrupts. When he gets his nephew alone, he tries to convince him not to drink. Olivia swans in to remind them that the party is outside. After she takes off, Victor makes it clear he knows what happened with Esme.
He’s surprised to learn that Ava revealed the truth to him. Victor hopes he’s not going to make it public. Spencer says it would be a bad look for him.
Valentin runs into Nina looking at the sky. They quote Byron to each other. Neither of them imagined they would bump into each other there.
They talk about how much Joss hates her. He asks how she feels about gaining half the Metro Court and wonders if she is having buyer’s remorse. She admits it’s been difficult but Sonny has been supportive.
Nikolas finds Liz sitting on the ground with blood on her face. He helps her up and assumes she hit her head. She recalls having an argument with Finn and then blacking out.
She complains about the doctor calling her sister. He thinks she’s losing her mind. Liz keeps having a memory that doesn’t make sense to her.
Finn keeps pressuring her to deal with it. She doesn’t know how to have a meaningful relationship with someone she can’t trust. “You can’t,” he says.
He explains how things failed with Ava. He takes responsibility for his failures. The most hurtful betrayal was all hers. She was vindictive until the end.
Finn interrupts and asks what happened to her head. She says it’s no big deal. When he asks to speak to her alone, the prince says it’s not a good time.
The doctor apologizes for going behind her back and begs her not to shut him out.
Ava is on the wharf covered in blood after being stabbed. Joss finds her and is about to run off to get help when Ava begs her not to leave. Joss grabs her a blanket to hold on her wound.
As she calls for help, Dex runs over. He holds the wound while Joss calls 9-1-1. Dex says they have to move her immediately or she will bleed to death. After they tie a bandage around her, he explains they have to drive her to the hospital.
On the grounds, that Felicia tells Mac that people will figure out he had a romantic relationship with Dominique.
He doesn’t think Cody needs to face that yet.
He can’t wrap his head around her giving a child up. His wife suggests she might not have realized she had a son. She reminds him of when Leopold had Dominique committed.
Maybe that was about a baby.
Mac says there wasn’t a hint of sadness from her when she was released. Felecia thinks she might never have known. He wonders why Leopold would hide his own child.
Olivia rushes over to say the PCPD has notified her that someone was attacked. He calls in for information.
They go down to the wharf and find blood. He calls the forensics team.
Dex and Joss rush Ava into the hospital. She’s taken into the OR.
Joss says that if Ava lives, it’s because of him.
Back at the Quartermaine house, Anna and Valentin discuss the attack.
Jordan sends a text informing her that Ava was the victim.
In the kitchen, Sonny informs Nina that Ava was stabbed. They run off to the hospital.
Back on the wharf, Mac starts asking people for statements about their whereabouts.
