Thur May 23, 2024: Dex asks Anna for advice about pressing charges, Ned and Lois appreciate each other, and Carly pays Sonny a visit about Kristina.
Wednesday’s GH recap: Alexis got a shock in court, Gregory’s death was mourned, and Liz refused to let Finn get drunk with Violet around.
In Blaze’s room, Dex tells Kristina he doesn’t know what he will do.
She is just so sorry for what happened to him after all he did for her father.
He tells her to take care of herself and exits.
Blaze tells her she did nothing wrong but Kristina feels guilty.
Blaze repeats that this is not her fault and tells her she needs to make herself and her baby the priority.
She tells her how beautiful she is. Kristina wants her baby to have a better world than she did.
Blaze offers to take her home and make her an omelet.
Carly stops by Anna’s office by invitation.
She immediately insists she has no idea of what’s going on with Sonny.
Anna asked her there to discuss Brennan and tells her about his attack.
She assumes he stabbed himself to get to GH for a few says.
He hasn’t admitted it was self-inflected but did mention that it would give him the chance to see her again.
Carly says she barely knows him and doesn’t have to stab yourself to see his relationship.
When she gets up to go, Anna hopes it’s not to see Brennan.
Dex shows up and asks to talk off the record after she notices he’s battered.
She hands him some water and he explains that Jason stopped Sonny from beating on him while Kristina watched.
He doesn’t want to make her testify against her father. If he doesn’t press charges, is he tarnishing the badge?
She tells him it doesn’t. Diane would likely get Sonny out and his family would be dragged into it.
There’s no telling what the stress would do to Kristina and the baby.
Then again, he is the victim of a vicious assault.
She reminds him that a single crime has ripple effects and changes lives.
He would be within his right to report this and she’s not sure this is the right time to go after Sonny.
Life isn’t black and white and cops don’t have things easy.
Rising to go, Dex thanks her for taking the time.
She’s always happy to listen and hopes she didn’t discourage him from pressing charges.
He’s not going to. For now, he’s going to live in the grey.
She thinks he will be a good cop.
In Sonny’s penthouse, Ava tells him that Kristina is in a swirl of emotions and could be blowing things out of proportion.
He explains that his daughter was scared when she saw him being held back by Jason. He doesn’t need friends like that anymore.
She assures him his daughter just needs a minute and will come around.
He tells her his sons have turned on him. Dante has put being a cop above being his son.
She says this is really Jason’s fault for butting in and making this worse. He agrees.
There’s a knock on the door. It’s Carly.
She wants to talk in private but he insists Ava stay.
They discuss Kristina and he thinks she will get over it.
She reminds him of what she actually saw.
Carly thought they were at a truce.
He explains he lost his temper and attacked Dex and then it all escalated when Jason grabbed him.
Ava stares at them and pulls a sour face as Sonny insists that none of this would have happened if Jason had stayed out of this.
Carly wonders who he will blame when he runs out of traitors.
He tells her she should go but he appreciates what she did for him last night and he and his daughter will be fine.
Once she’s gone, Ava tells him she’s impressed by his restraint and suggests Carly wants him to be alienated from his children.
