Thursday, May 23, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke tries to talk Hope out of attending the wedding, Deacon wishes he could have brought Finn to the wedding, and Liam asks Finn how he feels about his mom getting married.
Wednesday’s Early B&B recap: Finn refused to attend the wedding, and Brooke was infuriated when Hope considered being part of the wedding.
Brooke finds Hope getting ready in the Forrester office and accuses her of enabling Deacon and Sheila by agreeing to attend the wedding.
Hope says not going would only hurt her dad and they would still get married.
Brooke can’t believe she’s willing to watch him pledge his life to “that monster.”
She reminds her daughter of all the pain that was caused by that woman and Hope repeats this is just about supporting her dad.
Brooke continues trying to talk her out of attending and says no one else will be there.
Hope feels bad for Finn and that he has to shut off all his feelings for Steffy’s sake.
She’s heard all her concerns but today is just about her supporting her dad. Brooke urges her to be careful and sighs.
At the cliff house, Finn thinks about Sheila asking him to be at her wedding.
Steffy snaps him out of it and tells him to focus on them.
She gets things ready for the kids and mentions Liam will be by.
Steffy repeats to him that Sheila has not changed and they need to keep her out of their lives.
She needs him to say he understands why he can’t attend the wedding.
He assures her that she is his world.
Liam arrives with Beth, who runs off to color with Kelly in her room.
Steffy is glad the kids are there to distract them from the wedding.
Liam asks Finn how he feels about his mom and Deacon tying the knot. Finn smiles.
Finn says he wished them lucky but told them he won’t attend.
When Liam says Deacon will need luck, Finn stifles his annoyance and leaves to get the pizzas.
Liam realizes he came on strong.
Steffy is sure her husband won’t run into Sheila at Il Giardino.
They check on the kids and then he asks how she is doing, knowing that Finn wants to be at that wedding.
She says he chose his family.
They are his first priority and he knows he can have nothing to do with Sheila.

Deacon is amazed by how his staff has decorated Il Giardino.
He wants the day to be magical for Sheila.
He just wishes he could have Finn there.
In her apartment, Sheila does her makeup and smiles as she says it’s her wedding day.
She sadly looks at a picture of Finn on her phone.
As she does her toes, Deacon comes in and apologizes if this is bad luck.
She doesn’t believe in bad luck and pushes him away before he can mess up her makeup.
They admire how great they look and he notices she must be thinking of Finn and wishing he was there.
She’s accepted he’s not coming.
He thinks her “hypothetical” friends should be there too.
When she asks who is marrying them, he laughs and says it’s a surprise.
She chases him out so she can finish getting ready and tells herself today will be perfect.
She looks at the picture of Finn again and wishes he could be there.
When Deacon goes down the Il Giardino, he chuckles at the toe shaped pastries and says today will be magic.
Tom arrives in a suit that Deacon gave him.
He reminds him that he helped Sheila and it’s important that he’s there.
Tom is just thrilled to be at a wedding with free food.
He tells him to try the toes.
Tom sniffs one and eats it.
Deacon welcomes Hope and thanks her for being there.
It means a lot that she’s there.
She admits she doesn’t understand but it means a lot to her that he is happy and Sheila makes him that.
They hug.
Hope goes upstairs to tell Sheila they are ready for her.
Sheila thanks her for being part of this and Hope asks her to protect Deacon’s heart and not break it.
Sheila promises she will do all in her power to make sure he’s happy.
She goes down to the restaurant and walks down the aisle to the wedding march.
Deacon introduces her to Tom and explains that he helped him rescue her.
Tom is startled when she hugs him and then declares it’s time to get them hitched.
He welcomes the guest and talks about how magical it was that they were united by a missing toe.
Finn arrives for pizzas and Sheila spots him. He starts shaking his head but his mother rushes over to hug him and thank him for coming.
He’s confused and Hope tries to smile awkwardly as Sheila beams.
