Thurs March 7, 2024: Chase and BLQ discuss her worries about his job, Spinelli and Maxie are arrested by John, and Laura gives Rocco some support.
Wednesday’s GH recap: Sonny was shocked when Ava proved Jason is alive and was with the shooter.
Jordan arrives at General Hospital as Dante’s family and friends wait for news.
She explains that Anna and the Feds are following up on the clues they have.
Olivia wants whoever did it locked up.
Sam, reminds her that Dante is stubborn and will fight to stay alive
Liv thanks her for being there.
BLQ arrives. Chase says she didn’t have to come.
She reminds him that Dante is her cousin as well as his partner.
If he’s hurting, so is she.
He’s feeling helpless and useless. Jordan comes over to remind him he’s too close.
He goes off to give blood just in case.
BLQ asks Jordan if anyone she worked with was ever shot.
Jordan says it happened more than once and was always a nightmare.
Although BLQ has always known that Chase’s job is dangerous, but she puts it out of her mind.
Jordan urges her to talk to him about her concerns.
BLQ worries about putting pressure on him.
Jordan admits that she tried to compartmentalize her job and that’s part of what ruined her marriage.
She urges her to be honest with Chase about how she feels about this.
Chase returns after donating blood.
In the hospital chapel, Ava shows Sonny the picture of Jason on the roof.
He refuses to believe it’s real.
She tells him that Spinelli confirmed that it’s real.
They realize this means his best friend is now his enemy.
He’s sure that if Jason wanted to kill him, he would do it to his face.
Ava knows he’d like to believe that, but clearly someone is holding something over him or he chose to be there tonight.
The mobster refuses to accept he would do that.
She wonders why he hasn’t warned him then.
She points out that the attack tonight wasn’t different from Puerto Rico and his assassin has to be someone who knows his business.
Ava adds that the person behind the attacks is called “Stone” as in Stone Cold.
What if he is back and ready to use his deadly skills to take him out?
She’s sure it’s painful for him to consider that Jason would betray him, but he needs to look at the facts.
They rehash how tense things were with him before he “died.”
He’s come back to settle the score and he’s playing into his hands.
He keeps refusing to believe it so she drops it but makes him promise to be careful.
“If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you actually cared for me,” he says. Adding she’s the only person he can trust, he leans in.
Carly arrives at the Quartermaine estate where Drew is looking after the kids.
Danny comes in to explain how much Rocco is hurting and lashing out.
After Danny walks off, the adults worry. Sam call to check in.
He admits Rocco needs a hug. She promises help is on the way.
Back at the hospital, Sam asks Laura to leave.
She returns to Olivia, who just wants to know what’s happening in surgery.
They remember how hard he fought to get back from his PTSD.
He won’t give up now.
Portia comes out with an update.
The surgery is ongoing but Dante’s vitals are good.
Sam comforts Olivia as she worries.
Sam sometimes wishes that Dante has chosen a different career.
His mom says it’s everything he believes in.
She begged him not to do but he was so sure and proud.
Sam knows they wouldn’t really have it any other way.
Chase walks BLQ across the room.
He knows she didn’t sign up for this and needs her to know it’s not too late for her to say this isn’t the life she wants.
She admits that she’s scared to death, but if they are going to be married, she needs to share everything with him, including her fear.
Jordan and Portia talk about how hard this is.
She remembers the night when Nathan was shot and didn’t survive.
All Portia has heard about him has been good.
Jordan hates he lost his life and had no chance to be a father.
Everyone who puts on a badge is a hero to her.
Portia gets another update and brings it to the family, explaining that Dante made it through the surgery and this is a huge step in the right direction.
BLQ asks Chase to take her home and Olivia and Sam hug.

Laura arrives at the Quartermaine estate and updates Drew and Danny about Dante.
She’s there to help with the boys.
She’ll focus on her grandson. The kids come in and Laura admits to Rocco that his dad has a fight on his hands.
Laura sits down with Rocco and they talk about him breaking Danny’s videogame.
She says they are all worried about him.
He says he’s fine. Laura tries talking to him about video games and remembers how her kids always used to play.
She used to play a lot of Super Mario. He’d like to see that.
His dad is really good too.
His grandma offers to listen if he wants to talk about Dante.
He doesn’t.
She tells him it’s okay to be scared. She’s sure Danny is, even if he’s not showing it.
Laura reminds him his dad has dedicated his life to making the world better.
They don’t know what’s next but they can’t give up hope.
The best they can do is stay positive while they wait for news and she will be there for him as long as he needs it. They hug.
When Drew returns, Laura suggests that Rocco come home with her but he wants to stay there in case Scout has a nightmare.
Carly takes Danny aside to see how he’s coping.
When he doesn’t want to talk, she says he’s just like his dad.
His mom tells him that sometimes.
Carly knows he doesn’t like to show his feelings. Jason was like that too. He was afraid to react and would just shut down and handle things.
Jason was not patient but he was disciplined.
She knows how hard it must be for Danny to sit and wait.
Once Laura has left, Carly tells Drew it’s been a day and she needs to go home and relax.
He thanks her for coming and she reminds him that Danny feels things deeply.
Danny sits with Rocco on the couch and they look at a picture of Dante on his phone.
At Spinelli’s, Maxie asks him who he saw on the screen.
He explains it was a dead man walking and shows her the footage of Jason.
“It can’t be!” she blurts. If he’s alive, why hasn’t he come home?
The Feds start banging on the door with a warrant and he shuts down his computer.
Jagger recognizes Spinelli and insists that Maxie stay.
He explains that they found his cameras and his DNA was on the hardware.
He requests that he show him what’s in the footage.
Lifting his computer to show it’s been wiped, Spinelli says he can’t.
They are cuffed and John guesses he rigged this with a kill switch.
Maxie suddenly recognizes him as Jagger and explains she’s Mac’s daughter.
“Wow,” he says. She tells him how much her stepdad admires him and asks if he can uncuff them.
He says she can give Mac his best and tell him he’s sorry he has to arrest her for obstruction.
John explains that they have experts and will uncover the footage he deleted.
Maxie mentions that the person on the footage saved their lives more than once and they need to honor that.
After letting that out, John says it narrows it down.
Spinelli admits he made a backup.
He gives Jagger the password for the drive. It’s “Maxie.”
“Awwww,” she coos.
She’s amazed he gave up their friend to the Feds.
He’s sure he can take care of himself and he couldn’t let her be locked up.
She’s the woman he loves. They kiss.
John tells one of his colleagues that they’ve got what they wanted and it’s not time to go after Jason.
