Fri April 26, 2024: Olivia asks Sasha to be the Quartermaine cook, Molly asks Alexis to speak to Kristina, and Finn tells his father he needs a caregiver.
Thursday’s GH recap: Sonny and Jason threatened each other, and Nina wound up Kristina about Ava.
In the Quartermaine kitchen, Tracy finds Leo eating processed cheese and they talk about his lunch.
Olivia runs in and chases him off to get ready.
Tracy tells her that she is running herself ragged at the hotel and leaving everyone to eat leftovers. It’s time to hire a cook.
“Bite your tongue,” says Olivia, claiming she can feed her family. Tracy says she’s spread herself too thin. The family needs a cook.
Olivia will only agree to a cook if she can hire them.
Sasha goes to the Metro Court to meet Nina. She’s late so she chats with Carly.
They catch up and Carly is surprised to hear she says she’s doing great. She doesn’t miss Deception at all but hasn’t figured out what to do next.
Carly asks if she’d like to work there. Sasha is happy she got the place back and appreciates the offer.
She’s still not sure what feels right but will keep this in mind.
When Carly walks off, Sasha sends Nina a text.
Olivia shows up. She goes on to Sasha about how great her shepherd’s pie was.
It has been pointed out to her that the family needs a cook.
She needs someone she can work with and refuses to go back to the days the family were banned from the kitchen.
Sasha loves cooking too. It’s peaceful and grounding for her. She’s bewildered when Olivia asks her to be the cook.
Liv only needs someone during the week and promises that everyone will be patient while she gets used to it.
Sasha never thought she would end up in a kitchen again. She admits that she was a substitute sous-chef for a few seasons.
That thrills Olivia, who knows it may be a pain sometimes but Cody will pop up a few nights a week.
Sasha wanted something different. Olivia adds it would include free room and board.
“It’s exactly what I need right now,” Sasha agrees.
Nina walks in and asks for a moment with Carly. There have been random electrical surges in her office.
Carly offers to hire the contractors she used to fix it.
Nina says that Jason may have bought the Metro Court back for her but the person she should be thanking is Ava.
She explains that Ava urged her to make the deal to impress Sonny.
Carly says that Ava is a user. Nina adds that not everyone has a Jason to get them what they want. So much for her earning it back on her own.
Nina adds that she has signed the divorce papers but Ava is closer to Sonny than ever and she thinks she’s toxic.
Carly agrees with her about that.
