Tues Feb 13, 2024: Today on General Hospital, Violet is informed of Gregory’s illness, Ava and Carly worry about the threat to Sonny, and Laura and Liz catch up about Ace.
Monday’s GH recap:Laura and Kevin decided to adopt Ace, and Sonny took Dex for a drive after Brick delivered damning info.
Finn brings Gregory’s boxes into his place.
Gregory wishes he could help but his sons tell him to relax.
Violet is surprised her grandfather has so many books.
She offers to move her stuffed animals to make room for them.
When she asks her grandpa to a tea party, he tries to get up but immediately has to rest. She says he rests a lot.
Chase leads her off to prepare the party and Gregory tells Finn they need to tell her he’s sick.
When Violet returns, her grandfather explains that he won’t be able to play as much as he used to because he’s sick.
He’s not contagious but he doesn’t want her to be scared.
He may have trouble breathing or fall but another grown-up will take care of him.
She’s sorry he’s sick and asks her dad if he can fix him.
They tell her some things can’t be fixed.
She doesn’t want her grandpa to feel bad but he assures her that being around her makes him feel better.
She’s sorry he’s sick but she loves him. Violet goes off to process this.
They worry they may have overwhelmed her but thinks she handled it okay.
This was a good step in preparing her for what will happen.
She sees more than they realize and needed some explanation.
Choking up, Gregory admits he hates knowing that Violet’s last memories of him will be of him in pain.
He wanted more time.
Chase says they have lots of time still.
Violet returns with a blanket and a book to read to her grandfather.
At Kristina’s, she tells Blaze that she’s feeling normal.
It’s amazing she got pregnant on the first try. It’s like its meant to be.
Blaze thinks she’s growing.
Kristina suggests that could have more to do with her.
Molly shows up early, surprised to see Blaze there.
They ask her to stay for their dinner and chat about her new songs.
They sit around and talk about Blaze’s real name, Alison.
Blaze announces she needs to get to bed early and Kristina shows her out.
Molly starts teasing her sister about Blaze but Kristian insists they are just friends. Molly thinks they are cute and have a vibe.
She thinks her sister deserves someone great and tells her how great she is.
Molly is startled when her sister tells her Blaze knows about the surrogacy. That was supposed to be a secret for three months.
Her sister prods her until Kristina admits that she and Blaze are dating and she’s not sure where it’s going.
She likes her and forgot what that feels like. Molly says they look good together.
Kristina explains that Blaze isn’t out to her family and she’s trying to respect her privacy.
Molly asks if she’s okay with that and assumes she’s being treated like a dirty secret. Kristina says it’s not like that.
Right now things are casual and they will figure it out as they go along. Blaze has never even had a relationship.
At the moment, they are happy. Molly won’t out her but she does have to tell TJ.
Kristina gets that but wants to tell Blaze first.

Ava stops by Carly’s office at Aurora and tells her that she’s going to have to cancel Avery’s visit.
It’s not safe for her to stay over.
They talk over what a fortress Carly lives in and Ava agrees to let her daughter come over.
She worries about how on edge Sonny is since the shooting. It feels like nowhere is safe anymore.
He must have been betrayed by someone in his inner circle.
Carly says that’s something he won’t tolerate.
After Ava goes, Brick stops by.
Carly immediately asks him about the shooting.
He can’t say much but Sonny is handling the situation.
She wants to know what he will do and he says Sonny will do whatever it takes.
She asks if he thinks Dex is the traitor.
Carly demands to know where her ex is and tries to call him.
Brick says he’s preoccupied and Joss will have to grieve.
Carly needs to talk to Sonny before he does something he will regret.
Liz stops by Laura’s penthouse with some diapers.
She’s glad that Ace has her and Kevin to take care of him.
Laura says that having him there has helped with losing Spencer.
But she guesses she came for more than a visit.
Liz is worried about testifying against Nikolas.
Laura explains he decided to plead guilty so there will be be trial.
She’s proud of her son finally taking responsibility. Liz is relieved that this is over. So is Laura.
They sit and have tea. Liz misses when her children were little.
Laura announces that she and Kevin have decided to adopt Ace.
Liz is so happy for them and sure it will help to protect Ace. But she worries that this could lead to Heather becoming more fixated on Kevin.
She tells her about the scene she caused at Esme’s grave and how much she blames him for her daughter’s death.
That’s no surprise to Laura but she urges Liz not to let it get to her.
They go back to talking about Ace. Laura never thought she’d be raising another child. Liz would love to babysit.
They talk about how busy they are and how great it is to have a support system to help.
Ava stops by as Liz leaves. The Jerome rambles about why she came. Laura says she’s family and is always welcome.
They sit and Laura admits that having Ace there is keeping her from being swallowed by grief.
Ava tells her how much Trina is grieving. It’s reminded her a lot of losing Kiki.
They talk about how that pain never goes away. Ava always had problems with Spencer but she was learning to see him through Trina’s eyes.
Laura thinks that’s generous of her. They are sorry they won’t see the man he was becoming.
All the pain goes back to Ryan and his family. They are glad he’s dead.
As Dex and Sonny drive through the night, the boss tells him they are going to the Pine Barrens to take care of business.
Sonny explains that Brick brought him a lead on a suspect in the shooting.
“My rat problem will be over soon,” Sonny announces. He notices Dex is clearly uncomfortable.
He explains that when someone chooses money over their word, they don’t deserve to live. Dex knows how important loyalty is to him.
Dex remembers that he saved his life. His boss tells him that loyalty is rare and people always disappoint you.
When they pull over, Sonny gets his goons to hold Dex. He tells him he knows he’s the one who betrayed him.
Dex insists that he’s innocent but Sonny thinks he’s been playing him.
He shows him the financial accounts that they’ve discovered. The payments coincide with the two attacks on him.
Dex says it’s not what it looks like but he won’t explain.
Sonny urges him to tell him who is paying him to spy on him. Dex activates a kill switch that wipes the phone.
He explains the person paying him is not out to hurt him but it’s better he not know who it is.
Pointing a gun at him, Sonny demands the name.
Dex continues to refuse to give the name.
“Wrong answers,” says Sonny.
