Tuesday, August 8 GH recap: Anna gets another piece of the puzzle, Sasha hallucinates Cody and Cyrus before BLQ gets her and Cody in to see Sasha.
Friday’s GH recap: Cody gets charges against Sasha dropped & tries lying his way into seeing her, as Anna realizes Valentin is the center of the Pikeman deal.
Valentin arrives at Anna’s and she asks what he knows about who shot at her. That wasn’t the greeting he was expecting. How would he know?
She asks him what that message he had her deliver to Sonny meant. She says Sonny’s been kind recently but it doesn’t change that he’s running a criminal enterprise.
It makes her wonder why he’s sending messages to the guy. Valentin’s sorry.
He was helping Laura in Russia and had no choice. Anna knows his priority was finding Nickolas but calls the timing interesting.
While she delivered his message at the Metro Court Pool, they were shot at. She knows there must be a connection and asks if he’s keeping something from her.
He was supposed to reach out to Sonny on someone’s behalf. He thought that was the end of his involvement. Anna asks how he got the information but he’s not comfortable sharing that. Anna can’t believe it.
He claims to love her. She wants answers. “A defense contractor called Pikeman,” he reveals.
He’s not working for them but used to handle logistics for an independent company that consulted with Pikeman on a few projects.
He didn’t tell her because he’s had his hands in a lot of pots. Pikeman likes his work and knows he has an acquaintance with Sonny. Anna doesn’t buy it.
There has to be more. He shrugs. She asks what he was thinking. Valentin says this happened when Anna was being framed.
He thought Pikeman could help bring Victor down because they’re commented to the WSB. Anna’s astounded. She thinks the WSB and Pikeman are behind the shooting.
“I was the target and I refuse to be a sitting duck.” She asks him to tell her everything before they take another shot but he’s told her everything.
It kills him to think he put her in danger. She takes off to find out the missing piece.
In the hospital, Martin visits Cyrus who learns he’s transferred all of his money to the Rodden Institute to end recidivism.
Cyrus is thrilled that many lives will be saved because of it. “What about your life?” Martin asks. Cyrus calls the love of money the root of all evil. Martin still thinks there’s something in it for him.
Austin watches from outside as the men differ on their opinions on who Cyrus really is. Martin calls him penniless but as his brother, he knows him.
Men like him stash money. He worries about him going back to Pentonville and admits their mama always asks after him
. Cyrus doubts she cares. “I gotta go see a client,” Martins says. “About a horse?” Cyrus asks. They laugh and Martin goes to talk to Finn about how his brother is.
Finn calls him a tough cookie and says not to worry. Martin goes and Mason texts to meet at his office right away.
Austin meets his cousin in his office and they get talking about Sonny and Betty and Austin hopes he doesn’t take care of her the way he did Gordon.
Mason asks if he thought he shot him and claims the guy wasn’t worth his time.
He thinks the cops will learn he was talking to Gordon outside that restaurant and will be coming for him. They argue about respect and Austin tells him to get lost.
Sasha wakes up in her bed at Ferncliff, happy to see Cody turn up. When he slams the door, she asks if he’s okay.
He asks how he’s supposed to be okay when she tried to murder him. He yells in her face and points, wondering what he was thinking.
He morphs into Cyrus who says she’s nothing but a junkie who will die in an alley.
He dangles coke and she begs him to leave her alone. “Cyrus” says she needs him and nobody else wants her.
She slides down the wall, sobbing.
He calls her a miserable psychopath and morphs into Cody.
She tells him she thought he was Cyrus.
He screams at her to look at him. He has a knife in his side and blood seeping out around it. She screams, “No!”
Suddenly, he’s gone and she’s alone, crying.
Finn goes to Liz at the hub and flirts with her, clumsily.
He was thinking of leaving General Hospital and has changed his mind. She’s glad. While they talk, Gregory appears and eavesdrops as their flirtation goes on.
Finn sees his father and wasn’t aware he was considering leaving. They joke about his bedside manner and Liz admits she finds him charming.
She goes and the men chuckle.
Gregory’s glad they’re getting along and says he’s there doing research. Finn has to go see a patient.
At the Q mansion, Tracy looks for her son, the Wandering Warbler. She assumes he’s asleep since he club hopped all night.
Tracy’s tired and says they need to have Ned committed to a mental ward. She’s not sure that’s the way to go.
Neddie eavesdrops from the hall as Tracy says this isn’t One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. She needs to know if he’s faking or not.
Olivia says she’s the only one legally who can do this. Tracy says to do it soon. They argue about whether or not he needs treatment and Olivia refuses to commit him even if he calls himself Eddie Maine for the rest of his life. Tracy goes, muttering, “We’ll see,” and “Neddie” shows himself.
He thanks her for defending him and calls “that woman” a bully. Olivia wants him to get help but not on Tracy’s terms. Neddie says the bottom line is he’s not Ned.
Nothing will change that. She says he is Ned and there’s a lot of proof. He tells her without music, he’s nothing. She suggests he and his daughter Brook Lynn make music together.
Then he can have both his family and be Eddie. She tells him a little about BLQ’s music and that she can write for him, then offers to listen to him sing.
He sings a little and she stares lovingly at him. When she goes to get them iced tea, she returns to an empty room.
In the other room, Cody wants BLQ’s help to get in to see Sasha at Ferncliff.

General Hospital’s comings and goings
Tracy shows up at GH and sees Gregory. She admits she was worried about him since he couldn’t pick up his credit card.
She asks if something is wrong. He doesn’t like that she’s prying, calling her out on discussing him with Alexis.
Nearby, Finn has mold for Jake’s project. He grew samples for him in his lab and says there are good spores in there.
Finn mocks his love of fungus and they eavesdrop on his dad and Tracy’s argument. She wonders what he did to deserve Tracy’s wrath.
They agree she’s an acquired taste but that his dad likes a good argument and he’s holding his own.
Tracy admits she needs to see a doctor about having her son committed.
They argue about that and Gregory defends “Neddie,” thinking his freedom means something. Traci snarks that she didn’t ask for a lecture.
BLQ and Cody sneak into Ferncliff. While BLQ meets Nurse Janice and talks about loving that name, Jan. She loved Brady Bunch and asks if anyone ever called her Jan.
She gets into talking about cosmetics and then hands over her ID. Janice is excited since she works with Blaze and Chase.
BLQ uses the woman’s interest in her to her advantage.
She lets her listen to their new single with headphones and while Janice’s eyes are closed, Cody makes a run for it.
Cody wanders into Sasha’s room and she stares at him, tears on her cheeks and mascara under her eyes.
Outside, BLQ is with Ronald and Nurse Janice who tells her that he’ll supervise the visit. It’s doctor’s orders.
Anxious, Brook Lynn follows him, while inside her room, Sasha starts screaming at Cody and he tries to soothe her to no avail.
Ronald rushes in and tells both Cody and Brook Lynn to get out.
Cyrus is cuffed to a wheelchair and taken by two guards to the elevator.
They’re ready to take him back to Statesville. He grins at Austin, knowingly and they lock eyes.
