Wednesday, July 26 GH recap: Curtis orders Portia out of his life, Sam and Dante wonder about the connection between Selina and Gladys, and Willow is happy to have the life she wants.
Tuesday’s GH recap: Ava told furious Sonny she killed Nikolas and Mason is threatening her, and BLQ goaded Chase into skinny-dipping.
At Wyndemere, Sonny demands that Ava tell him what Mason has on her.
She admits he knows she killed Nikolas. Sonny doesn’t seem that surprised. They step onto the parapet and she explains Mason has the prince’s body.
Sonny says he won’t let her be exposed. She unpacks her final months with the prince, all the blackmailing, and the mess with Esme. When Nikolas threatened to take Avery from her, it broke her and she did what she had to to protect her daughter.
He asks how she did it and she explains she crowned the Cassadine with a statue and fell to the floor dead.
She wheeled him out to the tack room and that’s when Austin caught her. He helped her.
She fills him in on the rest of the details and how she had to make it look like Nikolas had left town.
Sonny has a laugh about all this.
She piles on the details about shooting Ryan and Austin being hooked and the cops searching the island.
That’s when the body went missing and Mason started toying with them.
They go back inside. He makes her a martini and she tells him that Betty has threatened her mother.
The mobster promises that he will take care of everything.
Sonny goes out to his car and calls someone, ordering them to find somebody for him, dead or alive.
At the gatehouse, Michael finds Willow looking at laundry and beaming.
She says she’s too happy to sleep. They fold laundry and talk about how perfect this is.
The little things mean so much to her and thinking of them are what has kept her alive.
She always knew that their kids would be okay because they have him.
Michael admits that he couldn’t imagine life without her and now he doesn’t have to.
She jokes that he’s just saying he was right all along. They kiss.
Wiley joins them and they discuss t-ball over cookies.
He doesn’t want Willow coming when she can catch germs but she promises to be well enough to come by the end of the summer.
Emilia wakes up and joins them. Wiley admits that he was afraid his mom wouldn’t come home when she was in the hospital.
She assures him she’s not going anywhere and he has no reason to be afraid.
As Wiley and Willow fall asleep on the couch, Michael tells Emilia that her dad is the luckiest guy in the world.
Dante arrives at the penthouse and she fills him in on the accident her sister had. She notices how tired he is.
He needs a shower. They make out.
Once he returns after his shower, she tells him about the case she’s working on.
They talk about Sasha stabbing Cody and Sam’s suspicions that Gladys is behind all this.
They run through all the evidence against Gladys and her connections to Selina. Gladys rubs them both the wrong way and Sam suspects Sonny only tolerates her because of Mike and Sasha.
He tells her she’s not the only one desperate to make a connection between Gladys and Selina.
As they relax, he tells her about Dex and the dead body. His calling the cops was suspicious.
They decide to stop talking about this and distract each other.
As they make out, someone starts banging on the door. The cop answers. It’s Cody.
They aren’t impressed that he checked himself out of the hospital.
He’s more concerned about what his staying there could mean for Sasha. None of this makes sense to him.
Sam knows it makes no sense but thinks Sasha belongs in Ferncliff right now.
Cody says she was doing well and he’s sure that Gladys is behind this.
They put Cody to sleep on the couch and start making out before he carries her up the stairs.

Brad Smith to General Hospital
Joss bustles into Dex’s place. The AC is out so he’s sweaty.
She notices there is a candle already lit and wonders who he was expecting.
He tells her the super is coming.
The power is out in the building. It usually takes a few hours for it to be fixed.
She likes the candles but she hasn’t heard from him in 32 hours and that worries her.
He admits he found a dead body while he was following Austin.
“Aren’t you going to ask me…if I killed him?” he asks.
She’s sure he wouldn’t have said anything if he’d done it.
Dex explains the boss got him to call the cops and assumes it was to keep him safe.
They feed each other grapes and then she rubs ice on his chest.
They have sex and she says she loves him.
At General Hospital, Curtis tells Portia he doesn’t want to see her again.
She thinks this is all too much too soon. Portia refuses to leave him. She’s his wife.
He points out they never even consummated the marriage. She refuses to give him an annulment.
Curtis reminds her that she’s been cold to him for weeks and stayed away until he became a “poor sucker.”
He doesn’t need her pity. She reminds him he said he loved her. He adds he was heavily medicated when he said that.
Sitting on his bed, she tries explaining his feelings to him and tells him he’s wrong to think she pities him. She loves him and they will face this together. “There is no way in hell that’s happening,” he says.
He refuses to be a burden to Trina and doesn’t think he should see her again.
Yelling, Portia tells him how their daughter was waiting to see him and how much he means to her and wants to support him. He doesn’t think she should be stuck nursing him.
Portia says life in a wheelchair is not pathetic and he can’t quit on having a family just because it’s not the way he wanted it. Is that the kind of man he is?
Curtis tells her she should be encouraging her daughter to move on. He’s not the man he was and can’t be less. The only way she can help is by walking away.
The doctor says that like it or not, he’s not on his own. His family loves him and cares about him. She didn’t realize how much she loves him until she thought she could lose him. He’ll never know how much she regrets the time they spent apart.
He corrects her, saying he knows exactly what that’s like because of the time she cost him with their daughter. He lost 20 years because of her and doesn’t give a damn what she wants. Curtis doesn’t trust her or want her and orders her out.
