General Hospital recap for Thursday, June 15, 2023. In today’s GH episode, Gladys asks Sonny for help with Sasha, Portia makes it clear she disapproves of Spencer, and Jordan tells Zeke they need to forget sleeping together.
We also have Wednesday’s GH recap where Olivia was thrilled when Ned suddenly started to recover, and Drew told Carly only one of them has to take the fall.
Curtis squints when Spence shows up to his birthday party by the Metro Court pool.
Spencer gives him an expensive print. Curtis and Marshall are amazed.
The Cassadine thanks him again for saving him and his brother in Greenland. He tells him how important Trina is to him.
When the teens walk off, Stella and Marshall commend Curtis for being so diplomatic. He’s still keeping his eye on Spencer. He’s still
wrapping his head around everything but he’s glad Trina is his child.
Stella thinks it’s amazing. Her nephew is just going to follow her lead.
Marshall tells his son that he’s moving out to give him the space to focus on his marriage and daughter. Curtis doesn’t think that’s necessary but his father insists. They shake on it.
Marshall tells his son that it looks like his future with Portia is still possible.
In the Metro Court, Zeke tells Portia that he saw Taggert earlier and he wasn’t looking well. Jordan arrives and Zeke explains that she was with Marcus.
He’s surprised the women know each other. Jordan tells them Taggert will be okay.
Portia asks how her brother and Jordan know each other. Zeke says they met at the pool.
The doctor is sure he must have “pinned her down for hours.” Jordan coughs but Portia is just referring to how much he talks.
Spencer wanders in and says hello on his way back to the pool.
Portia is miffed her daughter invited him to the party. She tells Jordan she’s welcome to join them and bustles off.
Zeke asks Jordan if there’s something she wants to tell him.
She informs him that she’s the police commissioner. He recognizes her last name and she adds that she’s Curtis’ ex-wife.
Zeke realizes that she kissed Curtis and came to him on the rebound. Now he’s sitting on information that could ruin everything. The cop tells him Portia doesn’t need to know.
She tells him last night shouldn’t have happened and this is too messy. The whole situation is regrettable and she’s sure he feels his loyalty should be to his sister.
Jordan urges him again to leave things alone so his sister and Curtis can repair their relationship. She thanks him for being a gentleman and takes off.
As soon as Spencer gets back to Trina, her mom follows and he explains that he had to drop Esme and Ace off at daycare.
The doctor goes on about how hard it is to balance all those responsibilities. Trina is sure he’s up to it and Spencer agrees it’s a big commitment.
Trina is impressed by how he’s stepping up. Portia suggests he enjoy his youth while he can. Spencer makes it clear he will always make time for Trina.
Portia asks what happens if he ends up getting custody. Spencer walks off to take a call.
Trina knows her mom disapproves.
Spencer returns and tells Trina he needs to pick up Ace because they daycare needs to shut down for the day. He says his goodbyes and goes.
Portia goes back inside and starts ranting to Zeke about Spencer. She finds the responsible version of him even more annoying and is sure he can’t be a devoted partner to her daughter when his attention is split.
Zeke says that she and her daughter both deserve better and starts venting about Curtis.
Out on the terrace, Drew reminds Carly they don’ both have to go down. She thinks she should be the one to take the fall for her mistake.
He thinks taking responsibility for your mistakes is commendable but she needs to think of her family.
Drew plans to plead guilty so she won’t have to go to trial. She won’t get out of it unscathed but she will stay out of prison.
Carly reminds him that he has children too. He knows Sam and Dante will look after Scout. If she goes away, Donna will be with Sonny and Nina.
She thinks they should wait it out. The idea of losing him breaks her heart. He insists he’s doing this for them.

At the penthouse, Nina is distracted by thoughts of Ned. Sonny assures her he will make a full recovery and then start telling people the truth.
She worries when he admits he’s doubting Ned tipped off the SEC. Sonny is more concerned with the wedding.
“If I marry you, I will be the luckiest woman alive,” she says. He wonders what that “if” is about. She corrects herself to say “when.”
Ava shows up to get her daughter, who is tired from playing with fabric samples.
Sonny gets a call from Dante informing him they are waking Ned up.
Nina looks away in a panic as Sonny rushes off. Ava wonders what’s up so her friend fills her in. The Jerome tells her to keep cool and quiet.
Her jaw drops when Nina tells her that Ned knows the truth. She adds the Feds also have a way of uncovering her identity. Once that happens, her life will fall apart, both with Sonny and Willow.
Ava has an idea. She suggests that she tell Sonny the truth immediately.
Nina doesn’t think that will work. Ava says it will take some time. If she doesn’t get ahead of this, she can kiss her future with Sonny goodbye.
Taking off her engagement ring, Nina says it’s time for her to start letting go. After she leaves, Ava calls Austin and asks him where she should search for the information Mason wants.
In the Quartermaine stables, Leo tells Cody about his dad being in the hospital. He doesn’t want to go to see him.
Cody tells him that talking to a friend will help him get past his fears. Leo is afraid his dad won’t wake up.
Cody knows it’s all scary but love is a great medicine. Tracy walks in and keeps her distance as Cody tells Leo that he’s not going anywhere and gives him a hug.
Tracy orders the kid to go and clean up so they can see his dad. Leo runs off.
Tracy immediately snaps at him and tells him she doesn’t need to be brought up to speed by the hired help. It’s beyond her why the family is employing a jewel thief.
BLQ gets between them. She explains that she helped talk Ned into keeping Cody there. He’s very helpful with Leo. He needs consistency and routine.
Relenting, Tracy agrees to table this discussion for now and suggests Cody find other employment. The minute Ned is better, he’s gone.
Tracy walks off. Cody tells BLQ that Leo is taking things hard. She’s glad he has him as a friend. Tracy returns to take her to teh hspital and glares at Cody.
At General Hospital, Gladys gets a text from Selina, saying she will be back in town soon to discuss the set-up. Gladys sends a text saying she needs more time.
Sonny startles her and she drops the phone. He picks it up and hands it to her.
The mobster wonders why she’s so jumpy so she explains that Sasha is seeing a shrink to sever the guardianship. He thinks that sounds like a good thing.
Gladys doesn’t think she’s ready and Sasha could relapse. “You can’t let this happen,” she urges.
He thinks that Sasha has handled things with dignity and will be okay. Sonny insists this is up to Sasha and the judge.
Gladys begs him to talk Sasha into giving this more time.
When she walks off, Nina rushes over to Sonny and he notices she’s not wearing her ring.
