Tuesday, August 22 GH recap: Cyrus shaves his beard and cuts his hair, Dex eavesdrops on Finn and Ava, and Carly visits Drew in prison. Meanwhile, Austin meets the big boss – Cyrus.
Monday’s GH recap: Sonny Sends Dex After a Panicking Valentin, “Eddie” Moves Olivia with His Song, and Cyrus Vows to Pay Drew Back
At the PCPD, Anna tells Dante she won’t let him take away her privacy. He doesn’t think she should have been out at that hour alone. Anna talks about everything being taken from her.
She blames herself for Curtis’ paralysis. Talk turns to Valentin and how he lied to Anna.
She denies it and admits she was putting together the pieces when he came home.
Dante reminds her that Valentin lied to her the night of the fire. She wants proof.
They look at the footage of the area and his car wasn’t there. There was a water main break. He lied.
She’ll take that into consideration. Just because he didn’t tell her where he was, doesn’t make him the arsonist.
Dante argues his case. Maybe Valentin wants her dependent on him. She denies that, too.
“Valentin loves me.” Dante asks her to put herself in his shoes. She maintains he wouldn’t hurt her.
Dante reminds her that her guy is manipulative. “Oh wow,” she says but he wonders if she got too close to a truth.
She thinks it’s to do with Pikeman. Dante thinks Pikeman could have been after Sonny and hired Valentin to set him up.
Unless he was being blackmailed. What if Pikeman was threatening Charlotte?
At General Hospital, Finn passes Dana and greets her. She’s the speaker for today’s group therapy.
Finn takes a seat and flashes to his father revealing he has ALS.
Everyone gathers and Finn tells everyone he’s Hamilton and he’s an addict. It’s harder on him now since he learned someone he loves is dealing with something.
He understands why she didn’t but he wishes she did.
Then he’d have more time with this person who needs him.
Alexis arrives at GH on a call, glad that “it’s working.” She heads into the AA meeting and listens at the door as Finn says he had a friend who knew the truth and chose to keep it to herself.
She tilts her head to the side, as though feeling bad. They gather to do the Serenity Prayer and Finn finally spots Alexis.
They lock eyes and everyone files out afterward, leaving the two alone.
She apologizes for keeping his dad’s secret. He can’t believe he didn’t see the signs.
Alexis says he was good at covering it up. He has regrets but she reminds him they just learned that regrets do nothing for them. He cries as she embraces him.
Meanwhile, Dex eavesdrops on Ava who worries to Austin about going to jail for doing Nikolas.
Austin assures her that everything is under control. Betty passed on some information to his cousin.
They’re safe. He’s sure this whole nightmare will be over soon. He takes a call and says he’s on the way.
Dex walks away from the door before they see him. He sends a message to Gabe.
At Pentonville, Drew flashes to Cyrus telling him he needs family behind bars.
In the showers, Cyrus dries off and thanks God for being able to be clean.
He puts on some shaving cream and shaves his beard right off.
Nina drags Martin into the woods to talk to him privately about the insider trading.
He knows she’s really asking if he’s being pressured by the FBI to tell them who really squealed on Drew and Carly.
Martin tells her Drew took a plea deal and therefore, it’s over.
Nobody will learn she turned in Carly and Drew.
Carly drops a call with Katrina, who will be late for her shift at Kelly’s before she hugs Willow. She’s sorry it’s been so long. Willow says she’s there alone. It feels good.
She likes what Carly’s done with the place. Carly tells Willow she’s visiting Drew today.

Hudson West & Walt Willey back to GH
As Willow asks if Carly still thinks Ned turned her in, Nina appears.
She talks up how great she thinks the place looks and Carly thanks her and takes off for Pentonville.
They talk about how Nina pushes too much and how she wants to change that.
Willow thinks they’ll see a lot of one another since she’s marrying Sonny.
She doesn’t want things strained and they agree to find a relationship. It’s awkward.
Ava turns up and Willow goes. Nina shares they made some progress.
They discuss the SEC dropping the insider-trading and Nina reminds Ava to stay quiet.
Back at GH, Jake and Wyatt talk with Liz and Austin, who sends them into an exam room after a skateboarding accident.
Wyatt’s upset to learn he won’t play cello soon. Jake apologizes for taking him to board.
Wyatt’s glad he did a special flip at least once.
In another room, Dr. Bronson (Jeffrey Stubblefield) introduces TJ to Gregory who is shadowing him.
Gregory’s fine with that having heard great things about him. He tells the doctors about his most recent episode.
They run a few physical tests and tell him they’ll give him braces to wear at home.
Bronson says he shouldn’t drive. He’s done with that. He’s taking car services.
Later, he exits the room and sees Dana in her wheelchair.
He goes to Wyatt to see what happened.
Carly arrives at Pentonvolle and holds hands with Drew. They profess their love.
He tells her why he ended up in solitary.
As they talk, Cyrus shaves his beard clean off and takes a knife from his boot and starts hacking off his hair.
Back in the visitation room, Drew talks about saving Cyrus’s life and how they’re bonded for life.
Meanwhile, Cyrus’ hair is short now as he tells God he moves in mysterious ways and how grateful for that he is.
Mason arrives to Austin’s office at GH and says he gets to deliver the flash drive to the boss.
Austin refuses. TJ arrives and Mason introduces himself as Austin’s cousin. Austin gives some files to TJ.
TJ takes a second look at Mason and asks if they’ve met. Austin doesn’t think so.
TJ leaves, still thinking of Austin while inside, Mason admits he and TJ may have crossed paths.
Back by the hub, Finn thanks Alexis for being a friend. He’s glad his dad told her of all people but he wishes the man wasn’t so stubborn. “Pot! Kettle!” Alexis says before she goes.
Finn finds Liz watching the kids talk to Gregory about Wyatt being unable to practice.
He gives the younger man advice not to attempt practicing, even though it’ll be difficult.
Back at Pentonville, Drew and Carly are still chatting when Austin walks by with a guard, on his way to meet the big boss.
They wonder what he’s doing there.
He meets with Cyrus in the hospital ward.
Outside, Mason meets with an unseen person.
