Monday, July 17 GH recap: Lucy tries to keep Jackson distracted, Dante insists on helping Anna with her plan, and Ava tells Nina she slept with Austin.
Friday’s GH recap: Molly accused Kristina of making her fertility issues about her, Sonny, Dante, and Anna planned to lure Her would-be assassin into the open.
Lucy and Felicia go to the Pine Valley Brasserie. Felicia is impressed that she packed a special outfit but wonders why she brought her glam rags.
She suspects she’s done playing the grieving widow and is out for revenge.
Lucy is sure her dress with keeping Jackson Montgomery distracted while Felicia is searching his office.
The lawyer arrives and Lucy chases her friend off.
Jackson and Lucy sit down to chat. He asks all about her and mentions he spent some time in Port Charles.
“You don’t happen to know Anna Devane?” he asks, guessing her name is maiden name is Coe.
He knows who she is and why she’s there. She feigns ignorance and tries changing the topic. He turns it back to Deception and warns her that he doesn’t like being used. His ex-wife Erica owned a cosmetics company.
Lucy insists the reason she’s there has nothing to do with cosmetics. He gets a text and has to go. She lays on the flirting and he agrees to stay a little longer.
She brings up hummingbird cake and is surprised by how passionate she is about it.
Felicia sneaks into Montgomery’s office and easily cracks his safe open.
She finds the Maquillage folder and opens it.
As she searches the file, Jackson arrives with Lucy and a cop.
At the Quartermaine estate, Tracy and BLQ hear a noise. BLQ grabs a cane to investigate but it’s just Olivia.
She’s frustrated because she can’t find the games for the picnic and can’t ask Ned where they are.
She needs her husband and misses him.
Cody jogs in with Leo, whose knee is bleeding. The kid fell off a horse. Tracy lectures him and Leo blurts out she’s not his dad and can’t tell him what to do.
Olivia takes Leo off and the others complain about Ned.
BLQ explains he’s been found busking. Tracy is not happy and storms out.
When Olivia returns, she whimpers about her son’s broken heart and what a nightmare all of this is.
Chase brings his father to the square and they spot Neddie performing. He explains that he promises BLQ he would keep an eye on her father.
Gregory is proud of him for helping her out.
They start venting about Tracy and her agenda.
The cop admits that Tracy used her connections to get him his job back. A busker rushes over and demands that “the singing detective’ arrest Neddie for taking over his turf.
The busker doesn’t have a permit and complains he doesn’t want an old man ruining his grunge sound. Neddie points out that grunge is thirty years old and suggests they play for the place.
As they start playing, Tracy runs in and orders the busker to go and embarrass his parents somewhere else while she ends this.
Neddie tells her she’s not his mom and she tells him he’s delusional. He’s sorry if he’s hurting people, but even if what she’s saying is true, he can’t remember any of it.
She suggests that he fake it. Clearly, he can do that. He can fake it while she fills in the gaps and gets him the help he needs.
Tracy tells him he has a wonderful life and he needs to come back to it. “Sorry, I can’t,” says Neddie, walking off. Chase follows him.
After the busker runs off when Tracy glares at him, Gregory tells her he wants to talk about what she did for his son.
Chase brings Neddie back to the Quartermaine estate.

Nicholas Chavez’s temporary GH exit
At Anna’s, she, Sonny and Dante argue about her plan to use herself as bait to lure out her assassin.
The cop thinks this is reckless but his dad likes the idea.
Anna doesn’t need anyone’s permission.
Dante isn’t doubting her abilities but this seems dangerous. She says she’s run ops before.
The cop points out she had resources then, she doesn’t now.
Anna is sure she can handle this. Sonny offers his help if she needs it and exits.
Dante doesn’t want to see Anna get hurt but she feels like she has to handle things her way. “Then we do it together,” he says, offering to be her back up.
She won’t put his job in jeopardy but he’s determined. Anna reminds him he also has a family and reminds him of what happened with his PTSD.
The cop went through hell and back but that only showed him how strong he is.
He can’t let her put herself in harm’s way without being there to help her.
If she doesn’t agree, he will tell Robert about this. She admires that move and they agree to be partners.
Nina joins Ava at the bistro for drinks. She tells her about all teh bad news with Curtis and Sasha. She hopes Ava has good news.
Ava explains she had sex with Austin. That excites her friend, who is eager to hear more.
The Jerome admits they only just slept together and Nina wonders why sleeping with a hot doctor isn’t a good thing.
Austin joins them and tells Ava how much he missed her. He claims that he and Ava have the potential for something special and says she knows when it’s best to keep things quiet.
When Nina leaves for the powder room, Austin explains that he heard from Mason, who is very pleased with how they set up the nanny.
He’s recommended a woman to take her place and spy on Sonny.
Ava thinks this is too risky and she can’t let her into her daughter’s life. Mason expected that and told him to tell her Ryan’s bar is a wonderful place.
“He’s threatening my mother!” she complains. He says that as long as they play along, this should be over soon.
Sonny wanders in to meet with Nina. Ava tells him they need to discuss Pilar.
It will take more than a vacation to restore her faith in her as a nanny. She’s decided to hire her own nanny.
That won’t work for the mobster. he needs to approve of anyone in his daughter’s life.
She agrees to tell him when she’s interviewing candidates.
After he leaves with Nina, he asks what she knows about Austin. She thinks he’s a good guy.
He’s determined to get to know him better if he’s going to be around his daughter.
