Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, November 10, 2022.
In today’s Days episode, Susan’s found, and Nicole and Eric make out after Rafe tells her that he knows they have some connection still.
In the last Days recap, Chanel was booked, Paulina explained to Abe that she was being blackmailed, and Leo told Sonny he wants to make amends to the people he had wronged.
Nicole works at Basic Black when Alex sends hot photos of her and Eric modeling.
She sighs, looking distraught. Rafe turns up with sushi for dinner. He knows she’s swamped moonlighting as Eric’s top model.
She looks uneasy. Jada told him. Nicole rolls her eyes but Rafe says it’s just an example of a lack of communication.
Nic was going to tell her but it just happened. She agrees she should have told him.
She shows him the photos of her and Eric. Rafe’s pissed. She explains it was supposed to be Brady but Alex thought she had chemistry with Eric.
She calls it subjective. Rafe yells that “everyone in this damned town” has seen it.
He asks her to stop hiding that they have feelings for each other. Nic brushes off his feelings.
Rafe accuses her of gaslighting him. She denies it. Modeling is acting. Rafe doesn’t buy it.
She knew the modeling was a bad idea but Alex wouldn’t take no for an answer.
She got caught up in the excitement. Rafe says this is about their marriage.
He needs her to be honest with herself and him. She says Eric is in her past and Rafe’s in her present and future. There’s nothing romantic between them. Rafe thinks she’s trying to convince herself.
Sarah finds Eric at the pub staring at his phone. “Candy Crush?” He says no
. Xander’s working late at his new job and she wants dinner for one.
She says it’s a pharmaceutical company called Redax. They need the money.
Eric didn’t know things were tight. She tells him about their money woes.
He’s sorry things are tough. She’s not worried. She tells him about her housecall to Rachel who ate too much candy.
Eric laughs. He asks how it was seeing her. Sarah doesn’t think she’ll ever recover from losing her.
It’s hard for Eric, too. They have Xander to blame. Eric reminds her he encouraged her to forgive him after switching the babies.
She says that doesn’t mean that Eric can’t still be angry with him. He says that’d make him a hypocrite.
“That’d make you human,” she argues. Painfully human. Sarah says Eric helped her see what good Xander had inside him.
Talk turns to Jada. He says it’s early and he likes being around her.
Eric admits he’s spent a lifetime preaching forgiveness and is trying with Xander. She promises he’s truly changed.
Xander returns to the shed outside of the Kiriakis manse with his evil clown mask in place.
He offers Susan a sandwich that she turns up her nose at, calling him “Ronald McDonald.”
She’s saving herself for the catfish nuggets. She wants to go home and says her son will give him whatever he wants.
Evil Clown wants her home with him as well. She asks why he’s doing this. He should be ashamed.
She babbles about him being a man or a clown and he gets upset and takes off, calling Ava.
Xander returns to Susan to tell her good news. She’ll be going home soon. She’s pleased but asks how he looks at himself.
She wonders how his mama or woman feels about him being a “low-down dirty kidnapper.” She can feel that he has a wife and says she’s psychic.
EJ paces the DiMera homestead, waiting for Ava to pick up the phone. He removes it from his ear, “Pick up the phone!” He yells.
Tony appears. He says Susan can come out of hiding now that Anna’s commissioned the artist to make her another glass heart.
He assumes Susan broke it. EJ tells his brother that his mom was kidnapped. He should have “locked up that mongrel,” he says but now his mother is paying the price.
Bonnie arrives home to see Maggie, wearing an “I voted” sticker.
She tells her about Paulina’s daughter Chanel getting arrested for murder. Maggie’s beside herself.
She talks about how Xander and Sarah moved out because of Victor.
Bonnie thinks Victor’s a hoot but she puts up with him because of the amenities.
Maggie admits today is her 11th anniversary. They’ve no real plans. She’s clearly upset that she can’t see Sarah and Xander because of the ridiculous feud.
“You know what, Magpie? You should let Bon Bon take care of this one.” Maggie appreciates it.
She calls Sarah and tells her that Maggie’s depressed because it’s her wedding anniversary and has no family plans to celebrate.
Sarah feels bad. She forgot. Bonnie knows that the issue between Victor and Xander is the cause.
She says “Grab your hunky husband” and come up for dinner. She says Xander is working late.
Bonnie won’t take no for an answer and disconnects. Sarah lets Eric know she’s not having dinner there after all.
Bonnie tells Maggie she’s throwing her a dinner party. She says Xander and Sarah are coming. Maggie squees.
Justin’s in Arizona visiting the kids so he won’t be there. They embrace.
Ava chuckles to herself in the DiMera crypt outside, knowing EJ’s rattled. She ignores his call. Charlie turns up.
He’s so proud of his mom for making EJ suffer. She picks up Xander’s call. He rants about how long it took her to answer and asks when he can let her go.
She’s scared and hungry. Ava handles him but it upsets him more. He wants his money or he’ll let Susan go!

Back at the DiMera mansion, Tony suggests getting the police involved. Especially after what Ava did to Rafe, he’d be on board to help them.
EJ thinks he’s right. Ava calls and EJ starts bellowing and making threats.
Ava tells him to can it if he ever wants his kids to see their “southern fried granny,” she says, affecting a southern accent.
EJ makes threats and Tony asks him not to antagonize her. Charlie tells Ava they’re the ones calling the shots.
She wants twenty million dollars for his mama. EJ bitches but will get her money. Where do they meet?
She refuses to meet. He’ll wire the funds to an offshore account. Once the money is in, she’ll tell him where to collect “mommy weirdest.”
Charlie’s never been so proud of his mama. Soon, she’ll be swimming in cash. They hug. Meanwhile, Tony offers to move money around but EJ says it’s not necessary.
He’ll do whatever it takes to bring his mother home. He makes a call. Later, Ava is texted a photo of Tripp bound and gagged. She yells, “No!”
Back in the Kiriakis shed, Susan points out Evil Clown (Xander) is wearing his wedding band.
Does Mrs. Clown know what you’re up to? Susan decides to send her a psychic message.
She needs his wife to reach out to her husband and stop his wicked ways.
Suddenly, Sarah calls. Xander gags Susan and runs outside to take the call.
She tells him about Bonnie’s call. He claims he’s still at the office but since it’s for Maggie… Sarah asks how far he is from the mansion.
He looks out at the house and says not far. They agree to meet there.
Inside, Maggie goes to change and tell Victor about the party. “You check on moneybags, I’ll check on Cook.”
Bonnie says the 11th anniversary is steel. Does she know where those steel candlesticks are?
Maggie says they’re out in the gardening shed so Bonnie runs out to get them.
Back inside, Xander and Sarah arrive.
They learn Bonnie’s headed to the gardening shed. Xander looks surprised.
Meanwhile, once in the shed, Bonnie finds Susan bound and gagged and reacts in shock.
Eric arrives at Basic Black and Rafe tells him he’s off to get a beer. Eric tries to stop him but Rafe won’t listen.
Nicole tears up. Eric asks if she tried to tell Rafe that they were just photos. She says it doesn’t matter. Rafe and everyone else see what’s going on.
Eric asks what she means. Their connection. She says everyone sees it. Eric says they don’t have to do this right now.
Emotions are high. He has tears in his eyes. He doesn’t think they should say anything that they’ll regret.
She asks if he’s tired of fighting it as she is, pretending that she’s over him.
Eric’s trying to do the right thing and respect her marriage.
He started seeing someone but no matter what, he finds himself back where he started, in the same place with her.
He moves in and they start making out.
