Wednesday, Jan 31, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Hope tells Thomas she’s still not ready for commitment, Ridge and Brooke discuss the rivalry between Zende and RJ, and Zende learns about RJ’s new digs.
Tuesday’s Early B&B recap: Luna was suspicious when Poppy freaked out about a paternity test and Finn explained Poppy lived with his parents.
At the cabin, Thomas tells Hope she knows everything about him and has all of him.
There will never be more secrets between them.
He has to believe her mom is wrong and they have a beautiful future together. He has to believe she won’t break his heart.
Hope smiles at him.
Looking at her ring, she tells him that what he told her about that night was hard for her to hear. She wasn’t sure how to feel about the man back then…but he’s a man of action and has showed her how much he’s been willing to change.
Not only is he an amazing father and desire, but she feels like she can give her heart to him.
“I do believe in you Thomas,” she says.
She trusts him and has faith in all the promises he’s making. He thanks her for seeing the man he is today.
That man will cherish her for the rest of his life. It took a lot of work to become that man and is determined to prove he’s worth of her love.
That ring is a symbol of the eternal love he has for her and he’s so looking forward to her being his wife.
She tells him how meaningful it is to be with a man who is steadfast and true. Although she doesn’t doubt him, the timing isn’t right.
She’ll keep wearing the ring and maybe one day she will be ready for the commitment. Hope wants him to know he’s a good man with a good heart.
They kiss.
Explaining the kids will be gone for hours, she undoes her dress and straddles him. They have sex.
In the design office, Luna tells RJ that her mom told her to drop thinking about who her father is so she’s going to do that. RJ apologizes for pushing it and she says they can rule Bill out.
He offers to relieve her stress and has a special night planned for her at the beach house.
Spending the night with him in the new house sounds amazing. They make out until Charlie interrupts.
He congratulates RJ on scoring his new digs and says they will be hanging ten real soon. “Cowabunga!” shouts Charlie, nearly falling over as he tries to give RJ a high five.

Brooke and Ridge are making out in the Forrester Creations office. He wants to talk about Thomas proposing to Hope. They’ve both talked to their kids and he can guess how she feels about this.
They agree about anything but not this. She knows Thomas loves Hope and worries this could hurt him.
He knows it might not work. Not everyone can be like them.
As they canoodle, Zende walks in, looking for Luna and RJ. Charlie pops up to say they “Elvised out of here.”
“Bummer,” says Zende. He had some designs he wanted to show him.
Charlie explains that RJ now has a “Casa del sando” on Malibu.
Zende is surprised that he has a Malibu home on the beach at his age.
“He really is the anointed one,” he complains, walking out.
Ridge and Brooke sit down and worry about the rivalry between RJ and Zende.
He doesn’t like that Zende feels like he’s been passed over.
Brooke thinks he’s quite bothered and Ridge thinks Zende just wants to be recognized for his talent.
He doesn’t think they should be meddling with the children. She doesn’t think that applies to Thomas and Hope.
Ridge says they need to leave it to the power of love.
RJ and Luna are settling in at the beach house after he has checked to make sure no one is there.
She asks for a mint before they start kissing.
They sit and she says she’s been holding out for the right person and now she’s ready. For the first time in her life, she wants to.
As they kiss, there’s a knock at the door. They try to ignore it but Zende calls in.
RJ peels himself away to answer the door. Zende strides in, telling him how great his new place is.
“I hope I’m not interrupting,” he says.
He hands him some designs. RJ points out he’s busy right now but will look at them later.
Zende explains Charlie told him that he was there. He tells RJ it’s nice work getting his own spot on Malibu’s millionaire mile.
“You’re really living large, aren’t you?” says Zende. It would be out of his budget, but clearly not for the “Golden Child.”
