Wednesday, August 23 recap of B&B: Thomas decides to let Hope go out of love, Liam tells Steffy he doesn’t want Hope back, and RJ and Brooke are certain that Hope and Liam will reunite at any minute.
Tuesday’s B&B recap: Steffy Asks if Liam Wants Hope Back, Brooke Convinces Hope She’s Made a Mistake, and Hope Tells Thomas She Has to Face What He Did to Her
At Thomas’ house, he tells Hope he loves her but she pursued him.
He can see Liam got into her head.
He decides to back off, not because he’s afraid of reverting to that guy anymore but because he loves her and wants her to have what she wants.
If it’s Liam, he’ll accept it.
She’s surprised he’d let her go. He says he won’t stop her from reuniting with Liam.
He holds her hands and caresses her check. “That’s how much I love you.”
Hope apologizes for starting things up and not finishing it.
She doesn’t like hurting him and calls herself a human wrecking ball. He takes the blame too.
He loves her and it won’t change.
She thanks him for understanding and calls him a good man and asks him not to let anyone erase what he’s done to get to this point.
“So I um yeah, we should put a stop to this,” she says, talking again about hurting people and wanting to repair the damage she caused.
She wants to make her marriage work for the sake of her kid.
She’s sorry and ashamed of herself. He admits this isn’t easy on him and he wouldn’t trade it for anything. She goes and he wipes a hand over his face.
At Eric’s, with a sigh, Steffy assumes Liam’s not willing to take Hope back.
He doesn’t say but he will always love her. He’ll never stop trying to tell her that Thomas never changed.
It isn’t good for Hope to ignore what Thomas did to her in the past.
Steffy’s baffled. If Liam got through to Hope, isn’t he willing to forgive her and keep his family intact?
He stares at her before reminding her of what he said before, that he wants her back.
Once he’s gone, she reads a text from Finn who wants to see her. He misses his wife. She sighs.
At the Forrester CEO office, Brooke, RJ and Ridge talk about Hope saving her marriage.
Brooke calls Hope more focused, clear-headed, and determined than she’s been in a long time.

Daily B&B spoilers into August
Her eyes are wide open and spending time with Liam affected her.
Brooke believes there’s a chance for Hope and Liam.
She trashes Thomas until Ridge tells her this isn’t about him.
Brooke says they can’t ignore what happened. RJ sides with his mama.
Ridge reminds them that Hope commented on Steffy being a part of her marriage since day one.
Brooke thinks that was her daughter justifying her feelings. She assumes Hope’s ending things with Thomas now.
Liam arrives at the cabin. Hope says it was nice to forget about the chaos and focus on family.
He calls it a beautiful family and loves them both.
She knows and wants him to know she heard his warning about Thomas and she apologizes for putting the strain on their relationship and for kissing Thomas in Rome.
The papers haven’t been filed. He stammers, unsure of where she’s going. She wonders why they’re dragging their feet.
She believes she deserves a man who only wants her but he acknowledges his feelings. She babbles about her mistakes and not being perfect.
Finally, she asks him for one more chance.
He clutches his neck. “Oh.” He clears his throat and turns away.
