Monday, April 8, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Finn asks Hope to promise him something, Deacon needs answers, and Steffy and Ridge are relieved that this is over.
Friday’s Early B&B recap: Deacon discovered Sheila is alive when he counted all ten toes intact before cremation.
At the crematorium, Deacon watches as Sheila body moves into the oven.
As it does, the sheet pulls off from her feet and reveals her toes.
He counts ten and yells for the burning to stop. As he yells about ten toes, Carl (played by Sean Whalen) the morgue attendant runs out.
He keeps repeating ten toes and the attendant brings him some water.
Upset, Deacon thinks he’s losing his mind.
Grabbing him, he begs for some answers.
Carl tells him to calm down. Backing off, he does and asks for an explanation.
“What is going on here, man?” asks Deacon. Carl looks confused.
This isn’t making sense to him.
Deacon asks him if he ever adds appendages when they are missing, like a right middle toe.
Carl declares her would never do anything like that. His phone rings and he exits.
Deacon stares at the oven and tells himself his eyes are playing tricks on him.
He keeps repeating ten toes.
He saw ten toes.

In the Forrester office, Steffy and Ridge talk about how they can all take a deep breath now that Sheila is gone.
He asks why Finn and Hope went.
She says it’s complicated and she doesn’t know how she feels.
Her husband is dealing with a lot since his mom messed with his head.
She just hopes his connection with Sheila is gone and they can get back to concentrating on their marriage.
Her father assures her she did the only thing she could have done where Sheila is concerned.
It’s still hard for her to accept ending her life.
Chief Baker shows up and says they need to talk about Sheila.
He guesses they didn’t attend the memorial.
The chief explains that it has been determined that Steffy was acting in self-defense.
No charges will be made and Steffy is not liable.
She’s so relieved she nearly falls over.
The cop leaves them alone.
They hug and he continues venting about Sheila.
She’s still disgusted by the toe fiasco and he tells her they will never have to think of “nine toes” again.
At Il Giardino, Hope assures Finn that he is the opposite of Sheila.
He is kind and compassionate.
Finn is still trying to make sense of his conflicted emotions and thanks her for being there.
They talk about how non-judgmental they are and she complains about Steffy wanting to run her out of town because of Thomas.
He says she did the right thing rejecting his proposal and he’ll be fine.
Hope says her mom has been married more times than she has fingers and she didn’t want that for herself.
She can’t say there’s no chance for her and Thomas, but right now she’s concentrating on herself, her line, and her little girl.
They sit and talk about how hard it is for her to be away from Douglas.
She knows Thomas will take care of him.
The doctor thinks she’s set an extraordinary example for Douglas.
She admits it is hard for her but she’s not going to contest the situation just yet and trust Douglas knows what’s best for him.
Finn thinks she’s always been a guardian angel and Douglas is a lucky kid. Tearing up, Hope says she needed to hear that.
After some meandering, Finn asks her to promise to get along with Steffy.
They see each other every day and have a problematic history because of Liam.
They don’t need to fall into the pattern their moms did and should support each other.
He asks her not to hold a grudge against Steffy because of Thomas.
Who knows who she will end up sharing her life with?
Mr. Right could already be someone she knows.
When he met Steffy, he just knew she was right for him and he’s sure the same thing can happen for Hope.
She says Steffy is fortunate to have him. He’s the total package. His actions would never hurt Steffy and the kids.
She’ll take what he’s asked of her into consideration.
But Steffy did stick her nose in her business.
“I do want everyone to get along too,” she admits.
She feels better after talking to him.
