Friday, May 3, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy worries to Liam about what’s weighing on Finn and Deacon and Finn assure Sheila that no one will hurt her.
Thursday’s Early B&B recap: Sheila detailed why Sugar abducted her and Steffy marveled at Ivy throwing herself at Liam.
At Deacon’s, he and Finn keep hydrating Sheila, who continues insisting that she’d rather be home than in a hospital.
They are glad they found her.
She says she did all she could to protect Steffy and the kids and didn’t care what Sugar did to her. Deacon nods.
Sheila worries that Sugar is out there and dangerous and has her face.
They assure her that Sugar will not hurt anyone again and they will make sure no one hurts her either.
She asks how they found her.
Deacon is vague and recounts his conversation with Lauren.
Sheila’s sure that Lauren was thrilled to think she was dead.
She’s startled when Deacon mentions they had a memorial service for her. He and Finn were there.
Deacon explains that he started to piece together that she was alive thanks to her nine toes.
They laugh as she asks if cutting off her toes somehow brought her home.
She wonders why they thought she was dead.
He gets her to sit down and explains that it wasn’t until he was pressing the button at the crematorium that he knew something was wrong.
That’s when he saw ten toes and it made no sense that they were on a body with her face.
Once he’d talked to Lauren, he realized… “It was Sugar,” she says.
He knew she never could have attacked Steffy.
Everyone thought he was a madman but he dug in and searched.
After learning her history with Sugar, it all made sense, and he assumed she was locked up somewhere.
They searched for her and a homeless guy pointed them in the right direction.
Sheila is overwhelmed to hear that they never gave up on her and saved her life.
She asks how Sugar died.
“It was Steffy,” Finn explains. She took Sugar out thinking she was Sheila.
They give her all the details on Sugar attacking Steffy at the beach house and how she ended up with a knife in her heart.
Standing up, Sheila is amazed everyone believed that Steffy killed her… but Finn is still there.
He’s adjusting to his wife not killing his mother.
Finn reminds her that she’s his birth mother and calls her “mom.”
Losing her made him realize that their connection is real and it killed him to think he wouldn’t get to see her again.
She tried to save Steffy just like she did with Kelly.
That’s who she is now. That’s how much she cares.
He believes she’s changed.
“Mom, I believe in you,” he says.
They hug and she tells her baby boy how much she loves him and never wants to be away from him.
He promises that he won’t be.

At the cliff house, Steffy and Liam talk about what a relief it is that their biggest worry is now Kelly eating too much ice cream.
Liam asks her if she’s putting the Sheila stuff behind her.
Steffy says there’s no logical reason to be anxious.
She’s just worried about Finn.
He thought they’d deal with all the Sheila baggage.
She can’t shake a weird feeling.
Finn can’t get over it because of Deacon’s ridiculous ranting.
Steffy can see how this is weighing on her husband and she’s sure he’s not in a good place.
She leaves another voice mail for her husband. Liam notes he’s a doctor and busy.
Kelly shows up from her playdate.
She’s fresh from the bead store and asks if he wants to make bracelets.
Picking her up, he spins her around.
They sit and make bracelets and ooh and ahh before Kelly gives him one that says she loves him lots.
Steffy says their daughter needs to wash up and Kelly declares she’s so happy when they are together.
Once he gets Kelly settled in her room with her book, he returns to Steffy and they talk about how great their daughter is.
He thanks her for giving him time with his daughter.
She worries about Finn not calling her back. Liam is sure she still needs to unwind from all the stress.
They rehash it all and how confused Finn has been about his feelings for his birth mother.
She doesn’t know how much more of her their marriage could have endured.
Sheila is now just a memory and won’t be part of Finn’s life ever again.

“Sheila doesn’t have power over you,” Liam says. “Or Finn,” adds Steffy.
‘Nooooooo….Sheila?” breathless Hope says. “It’s really good to see you Hope,” says Sheila.
“It’s the truth. She’s alive! My birth mother is alive!” Finn tells Steffy as she shakes her head.
