Thurs Feb 15, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Victor puts his latest plan in motion, Ashley has a painful reminder of her past, and Jordan finds a new way to target Nikki.
Wednesday’s recap: Nikki Taunts Jordan, Victor Enlists Claire’s Help in Baiting Jordan, and Adam Asks For Nicks Help With A ‘Proposal’ For Sally

Abbott mansion
At the manse, Ashley tells Jack she’s not sure if she should go into the office.
Did Traci tell him she doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not? He says no.
Did she tell him that Tucker’s succeeded at breaking her?
Jack offers to support her but days Tucker cannot break her. She’s too strong for that.
She worries about her history and cries. “I’m not doing well, Jack.” He offers to help her sort things out.
She admits she’s scared and worried she exaggerated what Tucker did in Paris.
He was angry and frightened her. Jack thinks it’s a natural reaction to the man’s manipulations. Ending her marriage was the right move.
Victoria meets Cole at the Athletic Club and bitches that her father went too far.
She complains that he’s using Claire as a hook to get to Jordan.
Cole worries since Claire’s vulnerable. What if she has another setback?
That’s what is infuriating Victoria. She tells him Victor accepted Claire into the family.
Cole’s surprised and touched. Vicky thinks he was softening Claire up for his plan but Cole says she can’t deny he has a devotion to family.
She sings Cole’s praises and he admits inside he’s shaken up, not feeling strong.
Becoming a father to a daughter he mourned for years is a daily shock. She agrees it feels surreal.
They wish they could have been there for her.
She loves that he was there for her even after all these years, enough to fly straight to Oregon. She’ll never forget that.
Newman Enterprises
At Newman, Adam wants Nick’s help in bringing Sally’s business into the company.
If Nick supports it, their dad might accept it. Nick asks what that means for his investment.
Adam says the company would reimburse him. Adam thinks Sally could use the break.
He thinks it’ll impress Dad that they’re working together.
Nick feels used. Adam says he normally would go behind his back. Nick agrees, he’s on to something.
Victor arrives before Adam pitches, Nick wants an update on his plan.
Vic thinks Jordan will come out of hiding. He enlisted Claire’s help. The guys will help out but Victor refuses to tell his plan.
He asks what they want to discuss so Adam pitches his plans for Sally.
Victor asks if her “little company has already failed.” Adam wouldn’t say it’s failed.
It’s hard to get a startup going. Victor wants to know what the hold is Sally has on his sons.
Adam gets back to business. He won’t oversee her. Victor asks why she needs Newman if she’s so good at business.
Adam thinks it’ll make a solid return. Victor wants a word with Nicholas. Adam takes off.
Nick likes Adam’s idea and says he’s moved on so there is no issue with seeing Adam work with Sally.
It’s just good business and will keep Adam on good behavior. This is what his dad wanted, for them to work together, after all.
Later, Adam returns and Victor says he won’t work with Sally professionally, so he refuses Adam’s idea. He takes off to a meeting, leaving Adam seething. Nick shakes his head.
He liked the idea but knew it’d be a long shot. Adam knows and thanks his brother. He won’t give up, thinking Victor’s testing him. Nick tells his bro not to push dad on this.

The ranch
At the ranch, Lauren tells Nikki she doesn’t need to answer Jordan’s call but she does anyway.
She asks what she wants and asks if she wants to hear more about what a pathetic human she is.
Jordan thinks the booze is giving her a false sense of bravado. Nikki says she’s sober and getting stronger, daily.
Her plan to destroy her has failed. Jordan, who looks like she’s at the Empty Glass Lounge, doubts that and asks her to continue this face-to-face.
Nikki’s fine with that and invites her to the ranch. Jordan laughs.
She’s not stupid to walk into an obvious trap. She taunts that she’s closer than the blonde thinks.
Nikki thinks she’ll be back in prison soon but not until she’s done her unfinished business, Jordan says.
She threatens that they will come face to face and Nikki better keep her eyes open.
“You will never see me coming.”
Nikki disconnects and relays the conversation to Lauren, who thinks she should have enlisted Victor’s help before waving a red flag in front of that woman.
Every word she says to her costs her friend.
Nikki wants to go out to lunch but Lauren thinks they should call Jack and get him to bring them lunch.
It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Nikki agrees to it and calls Jack away from Ashley. Ashley leaves the mansion while he’s gone to take the call.
On the road
In a car, Ashley gets a text from Jack who is worried about her.
She tells him she’s fine, she’s gone to clear her head.
Jack arrives at the ranch with food from Society and reads Ashley’s text.
He sees Lauren who fills him in on what happened and thinks Nikki was about to do something rash.
Jack knows she hates Victor hovering. Lauren defends Victor. She also thinks Nikki wanted to sneak a drink.
She hasn’t told her suspicions and hopes she did right in calling him.
Jack suggests they have lunch alone. Lauren agrees. Jack admits he has family concerns that seem settled for the moment.
Nikki reappears and Lauren makes an excuse to leave.
Nikki knows why Lauren wanted her to call him.
She talks about Jordan’s call and threats and fills him in on calling him back. Jack asks if that was wise.
It was reckless. She knows but Jordan being on the lam is making her crazy. Jack gives Nikki a pep talk, assuring Jordan will not get near her.
She’ll try to have faith. Jack admires how Victor keeps his family safe. Nikki vows not to stumble again.
Still in the car, Ashley’s being driven around when she reads a text from Traci asking where she is. She wants to talk. Ashley reads the text and then the limo is hit from behind.
The accident jars Ashley, jostling her in her seat.
She flashes back to an accident from the 2000s where a car crashed into hers while she was pregnant with Brad Carlton’s baby and she was left unconscious and bloodied.
Ashley looks confused.
Empty Glass Lounge
Back at the Empty Glass Lounge, Seth sits and drinks as he looks at his last few texts from Nikki, hopeful that he’s gotten the help he needs after falling off the wagon.
Jordan approaches Seth and smiles.
