Tues Oct 10, Y&R day ahead recap: Devon, Lily, and Abby speculate on Mamie, Danny wishes Phyllis good luck, and Daniel tries to be optimistic about having his mom at work.
Monday’s Y&R day ahead: Tucker gave the Abbotts a bugged bonsai and eavesdropped on them as Kyle and Audra reunited in bed.

Kyle wakes up in Audra’s bed.
As he gets his pants on, he complains about her letting him sleep in.
She says she’s happy they reconnected.
e needs to get home to his son.
Audra points out Harrison is in a house full of people and he has his own life.
At the Abbott estate, Jack and Diane talk about celebrating their love.
She admires what a romantic he is.
Jack wishes he’d heard from Phyllis about working with them against Tucker.
As they speculate on what McCall could be up to, Tucker eavesdrops through the listening device he planted in the bonsai he gifted them.
Shaking his head, Tucker wonders if Phyllis will ever learn.
He hears that Phyllis sent Jack a text saying that she has something on Tucker.
Before he can run off, Jack assures his wife that he is going to deal with Phyllis with his eyes open.
She’ll cross her fingers but looks worried.
Kyle rushes in after his father leaves.
He asks after his son and his mom wonders where he was last night.
He claims he was just at a friend’s.
She knows he’s off-balance and wants to help but he insists he’s fine and moving on.
She brings up how well he was getting along with Summer at the reception until Audra showed up and he turned into a different person.
Kyle says he’s not struggling. He just wants to be Co-CEO of Jabot and he’s convinced that will happen.

Danny finds Phyllis on the patio at Crimson Lights.
They talk about it being her first day at Omegasphere.
She wants to prove herself to her kids and he’s sure she will.
She thanks him for changing her perspective and believing in her.
He thinks they’ve gotten past their history.
She really does want to change and do right by her kids.
Danny is sure the straight and narrow will be a challenge but she can do anything when determined.
He tells her that Heather is back in town.
She worries about Lucy spending time with “that bug” Christine.
Danny says they are both good people.
Phyllis asks if she still holds a special place in his heart.
Danny says of course she does. So does Phyllis.
She wonders if he’s holding out hope he can reunite with “the bug.”
Danny claims he just wants everyone to be happy.
She gasps.
He says he wants them all to be free from the past.
Tucker shows up. Phyllis leaps up, declaring she needs to get to work.
Danny tells her to knock them dead.
When Phyllis gets to the counter, Tucker suggests she’s been working with Jack against him and claims he has eyes and ears all over town.
When Jack arrives, Phyllis takes off. Tucker asks Jack if he unwrapped the gift.
Jack doesn’t buy his offer of truce and confronts him about what he put Phyllis up to, hacking into Billy’s account.
McCall jokes that all sounds elaborate and insists it had nothing to do with him.
The Abbott tells him to think twice before doing anything to Jabot, gets a text and takes off.
Jack meets with Phyllis at Society. She hacked into Tucker’s computer as he asked and she explains he recently purchased a listening device.
That gives him an idea.
She asks if this makes them square.
They aren’t but they’re on their way.
She refuses to admit she was working with Tucker.
Jack repeats this is just one step.
They aren’t on solid ground.
Danny overhears some of this and wanders over after Jack takes off.
He asks what she’s up to.
She claims there is just tension with Jack because he can’t forgive her. Why does he care?
He saw her exchanges with Jack and Tucker and it all seemed weird.
He hopes she’s not caught in the middle of animosity.
She thinks he sounds paranoid.
“Paranoid about what?” Daniel asks as he joins them.
At the penthouse, Lily notices Daniel seems a little off.
He admits he’s a little on edge since his mom is starting work today.
She reminds him that was his idea and tries to put an optimistic spin on this. He feels skeptical.
Daniel doesn’t know if he can trust his mom.
He knows she wants to be reliable…but she’s Phyllis.
He turns the topic to Mamie and her mysterious investment.
She hopes it’s as simple as Mamie has claimed and is trying not to fixate.
They arrange to meet for lunch and kiss.
Once she’s gone, Heather sends him a text, thanking him for yesterday.
Devon and Abby are in the park with their son.
They’re relieved he’s tired out.
She wishes they could have more date nights.
They chat about her mom and how she’s doing in Paris.
It’s best she wasn’t at Jack and Diane’s party.
She thinks her mom has softened a little since Diane saved her life.
He’s not sure how his father would react if he saw Ashley.
He was a better man with her. Now, he doesn’t know.
Abby explains she told her mom that Tucker claimed to be beyond revenge.
Her mom doesn’t know what to think.
They discuss the possible Tucker-Mamie connection.
Neither of them know what to believe but he sensed a vibe.
Abby wonders if Mamie would really get involved with this.
Anything is possible when it comes to Tucker.
Devon wants to think the best of his father but that’s getting harder to do.
Lily joins them and fawns over Dominic. She explains that Jill jetted off to Detroit to dig into Mamie and LLB.
Devon says he saw Mamie and Tucker sharing a moment.
He confronted his dad about it but he played it down.
They ponder whether he’s up to something underhanded.
It’s been one thing after another.
Devon wonders if he should just make a clean break altogether.
He hasn’t had high expectations for his father.
What makes it harder is that Tucker has really embraced being a grandfather.
Devon thinks that losing Ashley broke him.
They agree to support him, whatever he decides.
Devon can’t shake the feeling he’s up to something and he will not let their family or company be affected by whatever it is.
Jack rushes back to the Abbott estate and searches the bonsai for a bug.
He won’t explain so Kyle and Diane stand there looking confused.
He puts the tree outside and then explains that it has a listening device in it.
Phyllis tipped him off.
Jack decided not to destroy it because they could use it to their advantage.
Tucker wanders into the GCAC and joins Audra for breakfast.
He complains about Jack trying to make Phyllis a double-agent.
He can’t understand why he would trust her.
Audra is sure that he can stay ahead of this.
She has faith in him.
She fills him in on Kyle reigniting the flame with her and that he’s after Billy’s job.
That doesn’t surprise him.
She guesses he wants Billy out of Jabot.
