Tues April 30, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Diane has a run-in with Ashley’s latest alter, Jordan vows revenge on Victor, and Michael tells Lauren that Victor is keeping something from him.
Monday’s recap: Cole and Victoria discovered a key that could lead to Claire, and Adam and Chelsea had a hard time coping.

Traci welcomes Alan to the Abbott estate and thanks him for coming all the way from Paris to see her sister.
He admits he was worried about her the last time he saw her. It seemed like something deeper was brewing.
She says they are at full boil.
They have coffee and rehash Ashley lapses in memory after splitting with Tucker.
Traci tells him that her sister has been having extreme personality shifts. When she is herself, she is fragile and has had blackouts.
Chunks of time have gone missing and everyone is worried. Billy thinks she could have a splintering personality.
He’s glad she reached out to him and wonders if her history of psychosis has been triggered.
He points out that he can’t treat her. He’s her friend and his license has expired but he will talk to her.
Traci has already told her sister that he’s there and she’s sure she won’t resist talking to him.
Diane walks into Crimson Lights and finds Ashley having coffee. They chat about how fine they feel.
Ashley isn’t buying her concern. She’s tired of all the sad looks from the family.
Diane quizzing her about running off from her doctor’s appointment and asks if she was afraid of what they might find out.
Ashley wonders why she’s fetching brownies when she a Co-CEO and should be working. If she wants to get fired, she can help with that.
Diane explains that Jack is concerned about her and that makes her a concern of hers as well.
Ashley tells her to back the truck up and stop getting her shorts in a twist. She’s just a red-blooded woman who had her heart broken.
She’ll try hard not be “extra” but finds it hard to accept that they all live such messy lives with no interventions.
She’s determined to have some fun. Diane can join the party or get out of the way.
Traci calls to say Alan is there.
Ashley declares there’s finally someone in town she can have some time with.
Sarcastically, she thanks Diane for her concern and takes off.
Ashley arrives at the Abbott estate with Diane trailing behind. Ashley is thrilled to see him and wants to take him out to lunch.
After they’ve rushed out, Traci explains that he’s her sister’s psychologist friend.
Diane tells her that she met one of Ashley’s alters. She was feisty but fun.
Offended, Traci thinks she’s making jokes. It’s almost like she’s enjoying this.
Dian is offended and asks when the family will stop assuming the worst about her.
Traci thinks she still needs to prove herself.
When Ashley and Alan get to Society, Abby welcomes them and admires her mom’s outfit. Ashley makes introductions and her daughter walks off.
Alan tells Ashley the city of lights is a bit dimmer without her.
They chat about how she’s been doing and she declares that she’s a new woman.
Abby pours them some champagne and Ashley declares she’s never met a bottle of bubbles she doesn’t like.
Once her daughter has left, they get back to talking about Jack and Traci flying him in to probe her. Is that what he wants to do?
He’s aware of why her family brought him there. He’s concerned about her but he’s also retired and would never treat a friend.
She says they are good friends and he said he just wanted to spend time with one of his favorite people.
“I really want you here,” she says, telling him the rumors about her mental breakdown are highly exaggerated.
As they toast to that, Belle in her head says that he is the perfect solution for Ashley.
“Time for some joie de vivre,” says Belle.

At the motel, Victoria tells Cole that the keys they found look like some that Billy had for a storage unit. Could that be where Claire is?
At the ranch, Michael gets an update for Victor. There are still no signs of Jordan’s body. Victor says she’s no use any more and searching for her is a waste of time.
He thinks they should just focus on searching for Claire. The lawyer agrees to do that.
Cole calls to tell Victor about the keys they found in the doll. Victoria calls Billy to get the address of the storage facility,
Victor offers to send back-up with them and tells Michael they are getting somewhere.
The lawyer thinks it could all be a trap or redirect.
“Wait here. I’ll find out,” Victor says, abruptly walking out.
He goes down to the basement dungeon. Jordan complains that the accommodations stink and the food is worse.
That’s what he wanted to hear.
Sitting in his leather chair, he asks where his granddaughter is.
She tells him he gets Claire’s locating if he gives her what they agreed to.
Smugly, he tells her they already found the keys. She claims she doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Jordan tells him he still needs her.
“I have you,” he says, promising that there is no way out.
As he goes up the stairs, she yells that he’ll be back begging for help.
Victor returns to Michael, who is perplexed by his running off. He tells him to stop asking questions.
He’s certain that Claire has been stashed in storage and a security team is on the way.
Victor calls Nikki but she hasn’t been returning his messages.
Cole and Victoria arrive at the storage space. He checks for anything suspicious. She’s scared of what they will find and he urges her to step back.
They open up and call in. Once they turn on the flashlight, they hear their daughter calling out.
They get the light on and find Claire trapped under a corpse.
Once they roll it off, they hold her as she whimpers.
Victoria calls her father to fill him in. He’s happy.
When Cole and Victoria get Claire to the tack house, Victor is waiting and hugs his granddaughter.
He asks what happened. Her parents think she needs to rest but she wants to talk.
They sit and she recounts how Jordan followed her to the Abbott estate and chloroformed her.
Next thing she knew, she was dragged into the storage unit. She fought back and almost got away but then that woman collapsed on top of her. She must have had a heart attack.
“I really thought I was going to die there too,” she says.
She imagined being free with them and safe in her room. She got angry thinking of all the things Jordan has done to them and that have her the strength to move and get the phone but the line died after she said, “Mom.”
That was enough for them to know it was her and they went searching at the motel.
Claire realizes that Jordan took Harrison too. They tell her he’s safe now.
She wants to see him and they repeat he’s safe.
Standing, she asks where her aunt is.
Victor declares she’s dead.
Claire declares Jordan was beyond redemption and she’s glad she’s gone. they no longer have to live in fear.
Victor promises she will never hurt anyone again and smiles as Claire’s parents hold her.
Back in the dungeon, Jordan paces and repeats, “You will not win.” She’s determined to find a way out and make Victor pay.
Michael joins Lauren in the dining room of the GCAC and takes a long drink before telling her they found Claire.
She’s sure he’s relieved and Nikki will be.
He’s hoping they will soon get news from LA that Sheila is really gone. The lawyer adds that Victor seems to be keeping something from him about Jordan’s demise.
She says Sheila will be sorry if she comes anywhere near her.
They chat about how worried Nikki has been. He tells her that Victor has been trying to reach her for hours.
Lauren tries to call her friend and then calls Jack and leaves a message.
