In the Wednesday, March 16, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila sends Deacon after Brooke, Liam encourages Brooke to go after Ridge, and Ridge admits he’ll always love Brooke.
We also have Tuesday’s B&B recap where Sheila trashed Brooke and Ridge got stuck between Steffy and Hope’s argument.
Liam is working in the cabin when Brooke arrives. He gets off the phone and asks her how he can help. She says he’s helped enough. Brooke hasn’t been herself these days and is looking for her daughter.
He serves her some herbal tea and says she can talk to him. “I don’t want to lay my stuff on you,” she says. Liam keeps offering. Brooke blames herself for everything and misses her husband.
She doesn’t understand what’s happened. Liam has no answers. Brooke thought Ridge could be happy with his other family, that’s why she offered him a divorce. “Why?! Why?!” he says. She’s decided that might have been a bad idea. He yelps at her to go and see her husband.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas is in his office talking to Sheila on the phone. She tells him he’s getting what he wanted: his parents back together. If he stays quiet, her plan will work. “This our secret. You got that!” she tells him.
Down the hall, Steffy tells Ridge that he belongs with her mom. Hope tells him that her mom messed up and would take it back if she could. Ridge looks back and forth.
They rehash Brooke drinking. Steffy says this was not just a slip and repeats that Ridge belongs with her mom, who can give him the respect he deserves. Brooke needs to pay for her betrayal.
Thomas joins them in time to hear Hope repeat that her mom just let things get out of hand. Steffy continues complaining about Brooke’s choices. Hope knows her mom hurt Ridge but she loves him. Underneath all of his hurt and anger, she’s sure he loves her too.
Alone with Thomas and Steffy, Ridge listens to her go on about Brooke snapping. He realizes that she wants their family back together and that Brooke has made mistakes. But Hope is right that part of him will always love Brooke anyway. That will never go away.
Sitting at his desk, Ridge flashes back to one of the times that his Logan came back to him. He shuts down his laptop and thinks.

Deacon interrupts Sheila by the trash at Il Giardino. “Scheming much?” he asks. She tells him they are in arm’s reach of what they both want: the end of Ridge and Brooke. Is he willing to miss that by mopping floors, or will he seize the moment?
She prods him to take off his apron and put the mop away. He’s not planning on throwing Brooke over his shoulder and taking him to his cave. Brooke has made it clear that she’s not interested in him.
Sheila tells him that he needs to push Ridge into the Taylor column. He’s still delaying getting intimate with her. She urges him to turn on the charm and exploit Brooke’s vulnerability. “Go after it cave man!” she says. He gulps.
Deacon stops by Brooke’s. She says she’s fine. He doubts that and hands her a box of treats. Smiling, she’s impressed he remembers what she likes. “I remember,” says Deacon.
Brooke tells him they aren’t going to skip down memory lane. She’s just handed her husband over to a woman who has been lying in wait for decades. He tells her to stop beating herself up. She deserves better. “There is nobody better than Ridge,” she says.
After telling him about sending Ridge to Taylor, she says she still loves him and never should have let him go.
Hope returns to the cabin. Liam wants to ask about sushi but notices she’s having a bad day. She fills him in about her latest run-in with Steffy. Watching all of this is making her sad.
Liam tells her how obvious it is that her mom loves Ridge. Hope thinks she should be fighting for her marriage.
In his office, Thomas calls Sheila, who reluctantly answers. He has no one to talk to about this situation…yet. Keeping this secret doesn’t feel right. She assures him it will once the pieces fall in place. He doesn’t understand why she is so invested in this.
Sheila explains it’s because she wants to be part of her son and grandchild’s life. Her dreams stand a better chance of coming true as long as Brooke is otherwise occupied. Plus, this is Taylor’s chance at happiness. If he keeps quiet, everyone will get what’s best for them. Steffy eavesdrops at his door.
