In the Thursday, October 21, 2021, full episode recap of Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila schemes, Carter and Katie have lunch together, and Liam and Steffy have a play date with their kid. Soaps Spoilers has Wednesday’s B&B recap where Donna’s sisters encouraged her to go after Eric.
Steffy and Finn kiss at home since the baby is napping. Hope and Liam arrive. They laugh and Steffy says they can pick this up later. Hope and Liam let themselves in. Hope asks if they’re interrupting. They deny that. Finn and Hope take off together to the restaurant. Liam, Steffy and Kelly play a game together. Liam loses and they joke. They make plans to go on a picnic.

At Forrester, Donna tells Brooke that lunch with her sisters cheers her up, usually. She talks about how Eric needs all their support. Eric walks in. “Did I hear my name? What did I do now?” They tell him they want to support him and he’s grateful that he has so many who care. He’s called to a meeting. Charlie turns up after Eric goes and looks for Quinn who is supposed to sign for jewelry. They haven’t seen her and once he’s gone, Donna rolls her eyes. Brooke thinks Donna needs to let Eric know if she has feelings for him. She won’t do that. “He’s married.” Brooke argues, “He’s married to Quinn. Good things are worth fighting for.” Donna shakes her head but Brooke pressures her. Donna says they’re friends. “He needs to be saved by Quinn.” WIth some pressure from Brooke, Donna admits she’s in love with Eric, just as he walks in. She looks horrified that he heard.

In the design room, Katie and Carter decide to eat together. They apologize to each other once again for yelling at each other. He can tell she cares about Eric a lot. He does too, though he knows how it sounds. She knows what it’s like to fall for the wrong person. He talks about having an intense connection with Quinn. Katie thinks it’s hard to put their faith in someone. They agree they both hate being alone. They discuss how Bill can’t put her first. Carter thinks she deserves someone who will. They gaze into each other’s eyes and Katie admits she isn’t going back to Bill. “Our relationship is over.” She thinks there’s another man out there for her, and someone for him since he’s smart, easy on the eyes and kind.
At Il Giardino, Sheila tells Deacon that lunch is on him. He begrudgingly thanks her. He is grateful but she’s done enough. He thinks it’s time he left L.A. Hope’s family will never let them be close. He can’t defy her family and expect to win her over. Sheila refuses to let him leave but he doesn’t think they should ruin their kids’ lives. Sheila smarts because she thinks she should be dining with her son right now. She’ll never give up. Deacon almost leaves when she pulls him back. She sees Hope and Finn and tells him to sit down. “Don’t order me around,” he says. “They’re here. Our children,” Sheila tells him. He sits. She notices the kids looking at them and pulls him into a kiss. Finn and Hope’s mouths drop open in shock.
