Thurs Oct 12 GH recap: Nina asks Donna to be her flower girl, Austin testifies for Cyrus at his parole hearing, and Pilar tells Joss and Dex her worries about Ava.
Monday’s GH recap: Brook Lynn’s mom, Lois, returned to Port Charles, and Eddie knew her from somewhere while Laura comforted Spencer over Nikolas.
In Puerto Rico, Nina tells herself it’s finally happening and flashes back to the beginnings of her relationship with Sonny.
Donna pops up and Nina tells her this is where she will be marrying her daddy.
The little girl asks if this means she will be her mommy. Nina confirms it.
Donna is happy she’ll have two moms like Avery now. Getting on her knees, Nina asks her to be her flower girl.
Donna is excited to do that and asks if she’s really Willow’s mom. Nina says it’s true and they will all be part of a big family.
She tells her to make sure that Sonny does not see her before the wedding because it’s bad luck.
Michael and Kristina come in from a swim and remember how great is to be in the ocean.
Sonny is drinking coffee and his kids start teasing him about handwriting his vows.
The mobster tells them that his fiancée asked to sleep in separate rooms last night because she doesn’t want any bad luck.
After Michael leaves, Kristian tells her dad what a great call it was to have an elopement.
He tells her how happy he is that she welcomed Nina. She says the only important thing is happiness.
Donna rushes in and says Sonny can’t see Nina before the wedding. He agrees to let her argue him around.
Willow wakes up in bed, startled to find Harmony there. She’s there to protect her.
As she tries to warn her, Wiley wakes her up. She tells him how much she loves him and assures him she’s not going anywhere.
Michael arrives and announces it’s time to get dressed.
Sonny and Michael step out onto the deck.
Michael is glad he made Carly so they can all move on.
Sonny wonders if that includes them. Michael admits he always loved coming here as a kid.
His father says he bought the island to be alone but it became a family refuge. They recall Morgan being there.
Michael is sure that he would be happy for his father today. “I’m happy for you too,” Michael says.
They hug.
Kristina and Willow go to Nina’s room to help her prepare. They want everything to be perfect.
Nina is so glad that they are there and Kristina is determined to make sure they keep to all the traditions.
Kristina gives her earrings as something borrowed and a shawl from Maxie as something new.
Willow gives her a necklace as something old.
It belonged to Harmony, who gave it to her on her sixteenth birthday.
The ladies hug.
Nina calls Ava and leaves a voicemail, telling her that it’s her wedding day and her daughter even came.
She wanted to let her know this is the happiest day of her life and she wishes she was there to share it with her.
Sonny goes to the chapel and prays that this will be his last wedding.
Nina coming into his life made him feel whole again.
Even after he remembered who he was, he couldn’t shake his feelings for her. He begs God to help him make Nina happy in the way she deserves.
As everyone gathers for the wedding in the chapel.
Sonny welcomes the priest.
Michael gets a text.
Wiley tells him to quit staring at his phone so Michael goes and joins his father.
The ceremony begins. Donna throws petals and Wiley walks out with the ring to the sound of flute and harp music.
Kristin and Willow are next before Nina marches in alone.

Dex interrupts Joss as she’s studying in the dorm. He’s missed her.
They kiss and he explains that the boss gave him a few days off.
She’s surprised when he explains that Sonny and Nina have eloped. Joss wonders how he knew about this before she did.
He adds that her mom knows about this and explains that her siblings also went to the wedding, other than Dante.
None of this makes sense to her, especially Michael going. He points out she’s been busy.
She’s feeling cut out. When she claims she doesn’t care, he asks why she seems so bothered.
Joss doesn’t want to care but she feels crazy because she’s now alone in the grudge against Sonny.
Pilar shows up and says that Ava has gone missing.
She hasn’t heard from her in days and wonders if she should call Carly.
Joss says her mom is dealing with enough now.
Dex gets all he can from her and urges her to reach out to Dante too.
Once Pilar is gone, Dex says that Ava must be in danger.
Cyrus welcomes Austin when he arrives at the courthouse.
He’s thrilled that he’s being considered for parole.
He thanks Austin for coming to testify to his fragile physical condition.
Austin is surprised when Scott pops up to represent Cyrus.
Scott says the check cleared, but tells his client that it will be hard to convince a judge he’s no longer a threat to society.
Cyrus is sure he will provide a heroic argument to get him out.
The warden joins them in the judge’s chamber.
The judge explains he’s a strong believer is rehabilitation.
Scott claims his client is no longer a menace to society.
His health is frail due to a heart attack and he’s found God.
The lawyer says he’s sold all his possessions and done all he can to support his fellow prisoners.
The warden backs him up.
Austin testifies that he’s not a physical threat.
Remaining in prison would leave him vulnerable.
The doctor confirms for the judge that he believes Cyrus is harmless.
In a basement, Ava screams for help.
Mason wanders down the stairs and tells her no one can hear her and no one will come to help her.
Letting Sonny know what they were up to was a big mistake.
Ava complains that if their plan fell apart, it was because of all the substandard help.
He leaves her alone with the rats. She tries for the window but it’s nailed shut.
Mason returns and gets her to step away. Austin calls and tells him to let Ava go.
Mason reminds him that neither of them calls the shots.
