General Hospital recap for Thursday, March 3, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Anna and Liesl try to bury the past, Curtis and Portia wonder how Jordan is handling their reunion, and Betsy has some surprising answers.
We also have Wednesday’s GH recap where Dante learned Betsy was arrested and Jordan returned to Port Charles.
At The Savoy, Portia shows Curtis photos of the apartment that Drew suggested for them. They both think it’s perfect. She gleefully throws her arms around him. As they kiss, Jordan pops up and interrupts.
Curtis welcomes her back. Portia gives her a hug and asks how her recovery is going. She’ll be fine if she stays away from the carbon monoxide. Claiming she didn’t mean to interrupt, she offers to leave. Curtis stops her. Portia looks concerned about how eagerly he does so.
Portia offers to leave but Curtis asks her to stay. Jordan already overheard them house-hunting and encourages them not to wait. The doctor suggests they all have lunch after she settles in. The commissioner asks them to catch her up on what the law-abiding people have been doing.
He serves them wine and they chat about Trina. Curtis tells her about Sonny and Jason and how good it is to have Drew back. She asks why she had to hear his dad was back from TJ. He’s only gradually getting used to having him in his life. TJ sends her a text, so she leaves. As soon as she’s outside, she has to stop herself from breaking into tears.
Portia is surprised that Jordan is acting so supportive of them moving in together. She assumes that his ex still loves him. He’s the type of man who comes along once in a lifetime. Or for her, twice. She’s sure Jordan knows that too. Portia would never let him go.
Britt is surprised to find Nina in her office at General Hospital. Nina starts railing about Carly making her look like a monster. She knows the doctor has also been on the receiving end of Carly’s malice, so she assumes she sympathizes. “Not really,” says Britt.
Nina reminds her of what happened with Jason. Britt points out that happened because Carly and Jason thought Sonny was dead and that was because of Nina. Not that she’s judging her… she’ll always have her back. But she did ruin Carly’s marriage so there will be fallout.
Britt is surprised when this turns to a discussion of Wiley. Nina knows she made mistakes but that doesn’t have anything to do with her being a good grandmother. Willow has made it clear that she will be kept out of Wiley’s life.
The doctor worries that she will escalate things. Britt urges her to stop acting like a victim, warning it will only make things worse. Plus, going to war against Sonny’s ex could put a real crimp in their romance. Nina thanks her for telling her what she needed but didn’t want to hear.
Cam bumps into Stella, glad to see she is back and feeling better. He reminds her he was there the day of her stroke at Kelly’s. When he apologizes about her envelope, she’s perplexed and tries to remember without luck. She guesses it couldn’t have been all that important. Cam explains one of the waitresses threw it out. She assures him it’s not his fault and he offers to buy her dessert. Stella tells him that’s okay,
Anna talks to someone on the phone, agreeing to meet them but warning that if this is a trap, they will regret it.
In Austin’s office, he asks Maxie what she will focus on now that she has her daughter back. She kisses him. He apologizes and she points out she’s the one who kissed him. The doctor admits he’s wanted to kiss her for some time, but the timing has been wrong.
Maxie wonders why he didn’t kiss her right after Peter died. He thought she would want some space. She worries if he is having second thoughts. Austin just wanted to respect her boundaries. Maxie has been trapped by Peter for a year and now she can do things that make her happy. “I’m ready to make up for lost time, are you?” she asks.
He’s all for that but she was just chased through a forest. She thinks he’s scared. The doctor denies it, but Maxie thinks he was hiding from the world when they met. She wants to know if their crisis feelings are real feelings.
He likes the new Maxie Jones, the one who is light and eager. She tells him that’s the real Maxie. Austin asks what she’s doing tonight. She’s spending time with her children but says she will see him tomorrow.

Anna arrives at the axe-throwing club where Obrecht is waiting for her. Liesl starts singing songs of her homeland and complaining that Anna hasn’t been in touch since she got back. She thought they had started putting the past behind them after their time in the catharsis room.
Liesl reminds her of how they have worked together recently. Anna doesn’t take any joy in what happened to Peter. Obrecht does and laughs about Jason tormenting August in the afterlife.
Anna notes that they are all free of an obsession now. Liesl says she’s shed her obsession for Faison for real love with Scott. “Scott?” Anna asks. The topic quickly turns to rehash what happened to Nathan. Anna isn’t sure they can ever be friends, but they can put their past behind them.
Obrecht suggests they form a book club and bully all the people who bring food to their meetings. When she starts planning their friendship, Anna suggests she not push her luck. Not plotting each other’s demise is enough of a start. After Liesl leaves, Anna picks up an axe and throws a bullseye.
Betsy surprises Liz when she shows up on her doorstep. She tells the nurse she deserves the truth. Before she can explain, she gasps as she spots Franco’s painting on the mantle. She wanders toward it and rambles about Jake.
Dante and Sam arrive. Liz explains that Betsy was just about to tell them what she did and why. The cop thinks he already knows. They discuss the painting and the cop tells her that some strange things have been going on. He was hoping she could explain and ask about her recent time in a mental health facility.
Betsy didn’t want to tell anyone about that. She’s confused. Dante gets her to sit down and asks about her visit to Franco’s grave. She hasn’t been able to face it. Liz loved him but she failed him when he needed her the most.
Sam asks if she took the wedding ring and Dante asks about burning down the studio. Betsy insists she would die before she would let anything like that happen. Finn tries to be compassionate and tells how much grief can affect a person. Betsy insists she didn’t do any of the things they have suggested. She was under 24-hour surveillance at the clinic until she got to Port Charles.
Dante makes a call and gets confirmation that Betsy was inside from Thanksgiving until now. Liz apologizes for suspecting her. Betsy doesn’t blame her. She just wishes she’d opened up about how much Franco’s death hit her.
Liz assures her that he loved her. Betsy’s sorry she’s going through all of this and suggests there must be a simple explanation. The nurse looks over to Finn.
After Betsy leaves, they wonder who has been behind the strangeness. Liz notices a sketch of Franco she’s never seen before. Jake did it.
