Tues Jan 23, 2024: Today on General Hospital, Tracy finds Gregory in pain, Martin gets annoyed by Lucy and walks out, and BLQ tells Chase she will make Lucy pay.
Monday’s GH recap: Laura said not to underestimate Esme as Heather advised Esme to run, and Nina wanted war.
BLQ and Chase are at the axe-throwing range.
She’s visualizing Lucy as she throws the weapons.
She’s never been a huge fan of her. He tells her his Lucy story and that only makes her hate her more.
He’s sure that something new is up.
BLQ says she crossed a line with her grandmother.
She tells him about Lucy’s digs at Tracy over Luke. Chase doubts that hit Tracy as much as it hit her.
BLQ is sure her grandmother comes off harder than she is.
Making it worse, this was all some con Lucy is playing with Scott.
No one can do that to her without paying a price. “Except you,” he points out.
She says she’s deceiving within the family and that’s okay.
They get back to throwing axes and complaining about the radiators before making out.
At General Hospital, Liz tells Finn there’s not much for him to talk to Martin about and urges him to go ahead to his meeting.
He goes in to his addicts anonymous meeting.
He talks about how being a doctor is central to his identity.
Without that, he doesn’t know who he is.
He’s just going day to day and making it.
Portia, Trina, and Stella are eager for news on Curtis. Stella goes off to pray.
Trina doesn’t know how she can fly to Paris with all this happening.
Her mom tells her to go, even if it is with Spencer.
She just wants her to be happy. Her daughter feels good imagining herself in Europe so her mom encourages her to go and enjoy it.
Spencer starts calling and her mom tells her to take it. Trina wanders off, leaving her mother to take a deep breath.
Liz pops up and offers her some support.
To distract Portia, they discuss what Finn is dealing with. The nurse hates to see him struggle.
Portia will be happy to testify on his behalf.
Liz gets her to talk about how Curtis is coping.
They are all walking a fine line but the doctor knows a happy ending isn’t guaranteed.
She keeps dreaming of dancing with her husband at their rehearsal dinner.
Then she wakes up, and realizes they will never dance again.
Choking up, she can’t stop herself from hoping…
Marshall is with Curtis in his room.
Marshall is anxious and his son keeps asking himself if the surgery worked.
Curtis is trying to stay positive and his father assures him they will deal with whatever comes.
For himself, Curtis can handle this not working, but it will gut him to see the disappointment of Portia’s face.
Anna walks in and finds TJ.
She tells him his mom didn’t show up last night and hasn’t been answering her calls.
This worries him. He tells her that his mom has been investigating Curtis’ shooting.
That makes her concerned too.
He thinks his mom might be in over her head.
Jordan pops up and her son notices she hasn’t changed her clothes.
Jordan says he’s very observant and they tell her they were concerned about her.
She insists she’s fine.
Once TJ walks off, Jordan tells Anna that someone stopped her when she was chasing down a lead.
Two men intercepted her on her way to arrange a meeting.
She got brought in by the FBI, who wanted her to back off.
She couldn’t see who was in control, but whoever it was put the fear of god into those agents.
They let her leave pretty abruptly and with no explanation.
They told her to stick to her desk but there’s no chance of that now.
Anna thinks she could use a second set of eyes. Jordan can’t say no to that.
Marshall and Stella are in the waiting area.
He doesn’t believe in miracles but he does in his son.
She says miracles happen all the time. He thinks she’s talking about what happened on Christmas.
She dismisses it as eggnog and memories but he’s sure she felt something.
“Something that can never, ever be,” she insists.
Curtis calls the family in and tells them it’s okay to be scared.
They need to accept whatever happens and move forward.
He says no hospital or wheelchair will keep him down. They’re proud of him.
TJ joins them and says Dr. Martel is on his way.
When the doctor arrives, he says teh surgery went as well as they could have hoped for.
He begins testing Curtis’ responses. When he pokes him, he can feel something.
That’s great news. Everyone is thrilled.
When Finn’s meeting finishes, he runs into Liz and tells her how grateful he is for her.
He thanks her for encouraging him to go to the meeting.
She admires his generosity and assures him they will convince the courts of it.
