Thurs April 11, 2024: Sonny meets up with Drew, John shares some suspicions with Anna, and Carly has an update for Jason while Ava continues to snow Nina.
Monday’s GH recap: Jason Tries to Buy Nina’s Half of Metro Court, Maxie is Mortified, and Carly Tells Jason What Happened to John
Carly complains to Jason that Nina will tell Sonny she slept with John Cates.
She clarifies that she didn’t do it. “Copy that,” Jason says, surprising Carly.
She says Sonny already considers her a traitor so she’s not sure why he’d care who she slept with.
“Because he loves you,” Jason says.
She can’t do this anymore and takes off into the other room.
She tried with Sonny but he changed and was infatuated with Nina. Jason agrees he was different.
Sonny barely noticed Jason was gone while she felt her heart was ripped from her chest.
She updates him on how things went with her walking in on Nina in bed with Sonny and how he blamed her.
It’s when she stopped caring about how Sonny felt and divorced his butt.
She thought she could take care of herself with her house and Metro Court but she lost it. Jason knows.
Carly didn’t realize it but says it was 100% insider trading.
Nina turned her in. She could have saved herself by flipping on Sonny.
She had proof he violated the National Security Act. Jason asks how he got that and learns Michael told her.
She tells him he hired an ex-soldier in Dex and details that story and how he disowned Michael. She asks if Jason will forgive Sonny.
Jason says for now but he’s close to pushing him too far after learning how he’s treated Carly.
She cries that she misses him, the one she used to love.
She wonders if it’d been better if she never loved Sonny and stayed in love with Jason. Jason says he likes them the way they are. She smiles. She does too.
Ava talks to Madison at Crimson about meeting with Nina but she’s at Guest Services.
Ava goes into her office to wait and takes out a baggie with Sonny’s meds inside as she flashes back to using them.
She calls Applied Analytical and tells them she thinks there’s a mistake with her husband’s medication.
She asks if they can identify the prescription and strength.
She’d ask the pharmacy but they’re online.
She’s happy that she’ll be able to messenger them today.
Nina arrives and Madison updates her on the work left for her and goes. Ava calls her diligent.
She checked up on her three times already.
Nina explains Drew barges in when he feels like it.
She rants about it and Nina reminds her she sent him to prison where he almost died.
Ava says yes and she’s missed her but she needs a progress report on her reconciliation with Sonny.
Ava isn’t her assistant.
Nina knows but she did say she’d act as an advocate. Ava says Sonny misses her but he hasn’t said.
When her name comes up, his mood gets dark and he drinks. Nina’s shocked he’s drinking.
That’s bad for him. Ava doesn’t recommend lecturing him but says it means progress since she’s under his skin and refuses to let Ava talk about her anymore.
Nina’s face falls. She doesn’t see this as good news but Ava thinks it’ll take time.
He hasn’t forced her to sign divorce documents which is a good thing. Nina has to have patience.
Nina asks if it’d make a difference if she sold her half of Metro Court to Jason Morgan. The novelty has worn off she admits.
Maxie and BLQ watch Lucy and Haven who discuss the Nurses’ Ball and how important Deception is.
Lucy talks about her wardrobe and the dozens of gown changes while Haven rolls her eyes repeatedly, looking tired.
Maxie whispers to BLQ that she called the calvary. She brings up the 90s and how good Deception was doing back then. Before she launches in too deep of a story, Haven stops her.
She only remembers the ozone layer in the news and how it wreaked havoc on the epidermis and the dermis layers of the skin.
They could have used a face cream like Deception’s then.
Lucy thinks subconsciously it’s what made her want to create Deception.
Haven invites the audience to enjoy the cream at home.
Brook Lynn can’t believe she’s saying so but Haven’s doing well with Lucy’s droning stories.
Scotty arrives, surprising BLQ. “This is the calvary?” Maxie tells him to get on stage and rescue Haven.
He’ll take care of it.
On stage, Lucy tells Haven that it looks best on freshly washed skin so Haven suggests they get someone to wash Lucy’s face so she can try the cream. Scotty turns up.
It’s a good thing he showed up. Haven tells him it’s a closed set but Lucy introduces Scott and starts reminiscing about the Nurses’ Ball and how they didn’t have one at one point.
Haven looks uncomfortable and Maxie and BLQ sigh.
They tried. BLQ has something else in mind and runs off.
Gregory looks for Brook Lynn at the Quartermaine mansion.
Lois tells him she’s not there. He’s there to talk about the wedding.
She starts babbling about being in charge of the wedding.
She asks if he changed the dish he wanted or if he has the speech handy.
She needs to know how long it’ll take so she knows when to tell the caterers when to bring the food out.
Gregory hasn’t gotten a word in this entire time when BLQ calls.
At PCPD, Anna makes a list of potential Pikeman operatives.
She has Brenan, Forsyth, Hume and Valentin listed.
Brenan’s imprisoned, Forsyth is deceased, Hume’s imprisoned and she writes a giant question mark beside Valentin’s name.
John Cates arrives all beaten up from the previous night and Anna gasps.
Cates tells her by appearances, it looks like he was the target of a mugging but he knows it was orchestrated.
They agree since he was near the Corinthos Coffee warehouse it wasn’t safe.
She asks why he was there, wondering if Sonny’s guards handed him his ass because he violated the perimeter.
Cates denies doing that.
She’s just trying to rule out possibilities.
It’s part of police work. “Oh, can you spell it out for me?” He asks.
She jokes that she’ll text it. Cates explains he was tailing Diane there. Talk turns to Jason.
Anna tells him Sonny wants no part of Jason and each figures Carly was there to see Jason.
When he bitches about the man, Anna asks him to give Morgan credit.
Tracy arrives at the stables to see Cody. She wants to ride her horse or at least walk him until she gets her horse legs back.
Cody tells her there was an issue with the way the saddle was stored. Tracy’s eyes widen.
“That’s a Dressage saddle.” Custom made. If there’s an issue, Cody will be out on his “hind end.”
Cody asks if she’s done threatening him.
She grins slightly and Sasha turns up. She fixed the saddle with balm.
Tracy’s shocked and didn’t know when she left Deception it’d work out so well for her.
She tells Cody to saddle up. Cody thanks Sasha.
She thinks it’s the least he could do and besides, he has a nice hind end. She grins wildly.
He tells her it’s time for her to look for a job but she procrastinates by organizing the tack room.
Back at the Q manse, Lois is thrilled to hear from BLQ.
She tells her she’s with Gregory.
BLQ tells her she has an emergency so Lois leaves the room to talk to her.
She winds up at the stables to tell Sasha that Brook Lynn’s trying to get in touch with her since there’s an emergency at the station.
Home & Heart is crashing and burning.
She explains Lucy’s doing the spot herself and needs Sasha to go down there.
“Can you drive a stick?” Sasha’s mouth opens and closes like a fish as Lois grabs her arm and rushes out with her.

Tracy arrives at the house and notices Gregory. He explains he’s waiting on Lois.
She agrees to take his message for BLQ. He says he won’t be bringing a plus-one to the wedding. Alexis had to cancel.
Tracy doesn’t think it’s a tragedy since Alexis and weddings don’t mix. She left Ned at the altar.
Gregory thinks it’s a good thing she didn’t marry her son then. Tracy says she has her reasons.
Gregory says she has to appear in Manhattan the moring after the wedding to get her disbarment overturned.
“Good for her,” Tracy says then barks out a laugh. Gregory worries about the seating but Tracy says he’ll be at the family table, next to her. He smiles, liking that.
Back on set, Scotty grabs the cream and asks Lucy to tell viewers how they can use the cream to make a “mug like this into a matinee idol.”
Lucy will do that after she’s finished talking about the Nurses’ Ball.
Haven has seen every ball on TV and knows what happened.
She turns talk to viewers looking great, just like Lucy.
She holds the cream up. Lois and Brook Lynn arrive and Sasha goes on stage.
Lucy’s busy talking about writing two tell-all books as Haven rolls her eyes. Sasha appears to viewers and Haven’s happy.
Sasha tells them she’s a stable hand and loves it. It means she doesn’t get a chance to look pretty.
Haven’s astounded since she’s gorgeous.
Scotty and Haven railroad Lucy off screen and Haven jokes that she hates Sasha since she’s wearing no makeup.
She says it means she can show the audience what Deception’s cream can do.
Haven’s happy with this turn and says to take it away.
As they talk, Lucy goes to Maxie and complains about Sasha taking over and dressing like an escapee from Mayberry.
Maxie thanks her for stepping in until reinforcements could get there. Lucy knows she’s being handled.
Lucy looks at her phone which is blowing up with mentions about her on the show. She’s trending.
Lois and BLQ talk nearby. BLQ is thankful to her mother.
After the show is over, Haven thanks Sasha for saving the show.
Haven wishes she was kinder to her. She can’t apologize since her lawyers told her not to but then decides to apologize anyway.
She hopes she returns. Nearby, Maxie says it’s been a good day.
They may not sell out but they’ve time.
