Thursday, August 3 GH recap: TJ and Molly meet with a surrogacy professional, Cody and BLQ talk about Sasha’s situation, and Trina opens up to Dex.
Wednesday’s GH recap: Cyrus decided to give away his money, Tracy wouldn’t let BLQ back out of their deal, and Chase investigated the shooting.
Austin checks on Curtis in his hospital room and asks him about turning down the chance to see his physical therapist.
He reminds him it’s an important part of his recovery and he will have to go to rehab when he’s discharged.
The doctor leaves and Curtis stares at his legs, remembering telling Portia to get out of his life. Frustrated, he throws his phone at the door just before Stella walks in.
His aunt brings him his phone and he stops her from what he assumes she wants to stay. Stella doesn’t know what to say other than that she’s sorry. Sobbing, she hugs him.
He’s sorry for upsetting her but she says he’s done nothing wrong. None of this is his fault. She just wants to help any way she can.
He tells her there’s nothing anyone can do but she disagrees and reminds him his family loves him and will care for him. Weeping, Curtis says he’s not the man he was a week ago and never will be again. That’s his future.
Dex bumps into Trina and she tells him her father is refusing to see her.
She feels like she’s sharing too much but he offers to be Joss’ proxy while she’s working.
Once he sits, she tells him Curtis may never walk again. Even worse, he’s refusing to see her.
She didn’t want to know if he was her biological father but after what happened in Greenland, she thought she should know. That changed things.
He was no longer her step-dad and they started bonding until she pulled away.
She broke their bond and now he won’t let her help him. He thinks she might be wrong about that.
He suggests that Curtis is used to protecting people from being in the military and is having a hard time coping with not being able to be in that role again.
Ava arrives at General Hospital and tells a nurse she needs to speak to Austin immediately.
When she corners him in his office, she accuses him of avoiding her. He claims he’s been busy with work.
She brings up Gordon’s shooting and he tells her he told the cops he doesn’t know anything about it.
“You killed him, didn’t you?” she assumes.
The doctor insists he didn’t kill Gordon. She realizes they don’t know each other at all.
He reminds her they had sex and she says that was just scratching an itch.
Austin tells her that Mason and his associates are the kind of people who hurt people, not him.
He has to get back to work.
She insists on waiting for him to return. As soon as he leaves, she starts snooping.
Austin returns to Curtis’ room and unpacks what rehab will mean for him.
He exits after Stella offers to take it from there.
Curtis isn’t sure he can do this but she says he’s triumphed in the past.
When she leaves, he weeps and hits his legs.
When Austin returns to his office, he’s appalled to see Ava has been going through his files.
She’s discovered that Gordon was not one of his patients, so who was he?
The doctor asks if she’s talked to Sonny about this and worries about what this means.
Did she tell Sonny she killed Nikolas?
Cody is in the stable.
When he tries lifting some hay, he remembers he has a stab wound and steps inside where he’s surprised to bump into BLQ. She tells him about the Neddie situation and fusses over him.
As they sit, she asks about his injury and he insists it’s nothing bad enough for her to be in Ferncliff.
When he tells her Sasha thought he was Cyrus, BLQ thinks Ferncliff may be the best place for her. He rejects that.
It doesn’t make any sense to him that she would have become a train wreck in a month. He wonders if she was drugged. Could someone have spiked her drink?
BLQ says she has a history of mental illness they can’t forget. He’s still not convinced.
When she leaves, he calls Ferncliff to set up a visitation but learns that Gladys hasn’t put him on the list of approved visitors.

General Hospital’s comings and goings
In the Quartermaine kitchen, Neddie runs into Olivia and tells her he won’t be getting up before noon any time soon.
He thanks her for the frittata and she says it used to be Ned’s favorite.
They talk about her love of cooking and how she was always avoiding learning about it when she was growing up. She was a wild child back then. Neddie wonders what that means.
She tells him about smoking, going with older boys, and sneaking into clubs.
Then she got pregnant and had to give up her partying days. He thinks that’s a tragedy and is sure she misses her partying days.
Olivia wouldn’t trade her son for anything in the world.
He asks her about the clubs she used to go to. Liv lists off a bunch and explains they made friends with all the bouncers. He’s impressed.
Spencer, Esme and Ace stop by Kelly’s. He’s surprised to see Joss working there.
She immediately starts snarking about Esme until Kristina walks in and starts fawning over her baby cousin.
When Kristina tells Joss she should consider putting an application in at Charlie’s, Joss says she would rather put pins in her eyes. After Kristina walks out, Esme wonders what that was about.
Joss says it’s none of her business. Spencer says it’s because Kristina is Team Sonny.
Joss stomps off. Esme says Kristina treats her like a person and leaves for daycare.
Spencer apologizes to Joss but she tells him not to worry about it. He admits he kind of feels sorry for Esme.
After she gives him a milkshake, she tells him it’s weird to be around Esme because of what she did.
He admits he’s gotten past that because of Ace but Trina is still his first priority. She asks why he isn’t with her then.
Spencer explains that Portia has ordered her daughter to stay away from him.
Molly and TJ are waiting at their place for the surrogacy people to arrive for their first meeting.
This is their first step to having a family.
After they have arranged all the cookies on a table, Claire the surrogacy matching professional arrives.
She assures them she has done this with hundreds of couples and they can ask her anything.
They discuss different types of surrogacy.
When they get to donor eggs, Kristina bursts in, yelping, “Oh my God! Josslyn is such a bitch!”
Molly makes introductions and Kristina babbles about what a power couple they are before taking off.
When Claire asks if they are considering using a family member, Molly immediately says no.
Once they finish, Claire says she will put together a list of candidates they can interview.
They thank her, excited for the next step. Claire is sure this will go smoothly and leaves.
TJ asks Molly what she thinks. She thinks it’s lucky she was in a boot or she might have smacked her sister when she barged in.
She’s feeling more confident after meeting Claire and a year from now their baby could be with them.
Kristina returns to Kelly’s and suggests that Spencer stop listening to Joss and go grab Esme and Ace and head to the park. Spencer agrees and takes off.
