Tues Sept 26 GH recap: Chase makes an arrest, Sasha worries the plan will go awry, Valentin keeps a close eye on Charlotte, while Carly feels the need to place blame and Jake melts down.
Monday’s GH recap: Drew is rushed into surgery to save his life, and Valentin shows Charlotte their new home as she remembers receiving a mysterious letter.
By the hub at GH, Liz calls for an update on Drew and comforts Carly. Finn finds Jake a bit of a mess and takes him off to talk while Nina stares nervously at Carly.
Liz says the piece of rib that broke in Drew’s body needs to come out because it’s lodged near an artery.
Carly’s upset, knowing it’ll kill him if left in.
In the hospital chapel, Sonny tells Anna that he’s beginning to wonder if the life he chose is worth it.
He blames himself for Curtis being in a wheelchair.
Anna tears up and admits she’s struggling with it too.
Sonny blames himself for Drew fighting for his life. When Ava shows up, Nina asks if she let it slip that she’s the one to put Drew in Statesville.
He also ordered protection for Drew. Anna nods. Someone defied his order.
Things are out of control and they never used to be. They need to keep fighting and she suggests he go see Carly.
He’ll check on Drew while Anna lights a candle for him. He takes off and as she lights a candle, she wonders what else she doesn’t know about Valentin.
Finn takes Jake to his office and makes some calls to see how Drew’s doing.
He tells Jake that the surgery is being done by a great doctor.
Jake feels awkward about caring over this so Finn admits when he recently heard bad news about someone he cared about, he cried too.
At the hub, Nina tells Carly she’s sorry to hear about Drew. Carly tells her to cut the act.
“I know exactly what you did!” Ava’s confused and Nina yells that this isn’t the time or place.
Carly says to back off and blames Ava for planning the hit on Drew since she was the only other person who knew about this.
Ava denies it. “Damn it, Drew shouldn’t even be in Pentonville,” Carly yells.
Ava snarks that she’s not the one who put him there.
Later, Liz finds Finn and Jake talking about how everyone Jake knows leaves like his dad, Franco, who died and how Cam’s in college and Finn left.
And now this. She eavesdrops and Finn offers to be there for him.
He knows it hurts. Liz shows herself.
At the new house, Charlotte tells Valentin she loves the place.
She asks who helped him decorate and laughs, knowing it wasn’t Anna.
A look of concern crosses his features and he questions her.
She says it’s not his style. Jen, his decorator helped.
Charlotte finds it more comfortable at Wydemere.
Valentin says to bring her friend Jake.
She takes off to see her new room and Valentin flashes to telling Nina he doesn’t want his kid out of his sight.
Charlotte returns.
She loves her new room and is shocked it’s got everything in it she wanted, even new riding clothes.
Valentin says she can ride Butterscotch right up to the door. He asks if she thinks Anna will like it.
She needs a place to live since her house burned down. She might move on. Charlotte nods and looks down.
He’s glad she wasn’t staying at Anna’s during the fire. She shrugs. She was at camp.
She flashes back to the letter which says not to trust Anna since she’s not who she says.
She asks if Anna moving in would make him happy.
She needs to know for the reading. He’s confused. She pulls out the tarot deck and he starts flashing back to the arson and break in.
She lies to her dad that a girl at camp gave them to her, then flahes back to reading Victor’s letter and that he gave them to her to use as a powerful tool. She starts a reading.
At PCPD, Dante and Chase look at a photo of the cryptic post from Anna’s bathroom mirror and wonder who wrote it and if they’re sophisticated since they deleted the footage.
Cody arrives. “Here I am. I surrender,” he says.
Chase grabs the man and asks where Sasha is.
Cody refuses to say and repeats that he’s turning himself in.
Dante says to listen to the suspect. Cody repeats himself once more, eyeing Dante.
Chase arrests Cody and reads his rights.
After he’s booked, Dante suggests Chase question him.
Cody refuses a lawyer and they head into interrogation.
Once Chase is out of the room, the friends eye each other as though they’re surprised that so far it’s gone well.
Outside, Chase is surprised to see Gladys who says she learned her daughter-in-law’s kidnapper was caught. Where’s Sasha?
Chase tries to calm her down but she makes demands to see him.
Cody and Dante listen from the other room.

Outside the cabin, Sasha worries to Sam about their plan not working.
Cody may never be free. Sam urges her to keep the faith.
They’ll prove Montague and Gladys were working together.
The women discuss Sasha and Cody’s connection and Sasha says they were becoming friends until she stabbed him.
Sam assures that Cody knows the drugs were the issue. Still, Sasha says he’s putting it all on th line for her.
“What kind of person does that?”
Sam trusts him and didn’t know what to think at first. Sasha says Sam is also taking a risk but she insists she’s trying to do the right thing.
Like Dante, who Sasha says is a good match. Sam gets a text. “Now?” Sasha says.
Back at PCPD, Gladys throws her weight around and asks to see the commissioner. Chase says he’s not there.
Gladys yells that Cody put Sasha’s life in danger. She wants to see him. In the interrogation room, Cody’s pissed that this woman is blaming him when she knows full well she’s to blame.
Gladys, meanwhile, gets a call in the other room from an unknown number.
It’s Sam, disguising her voice as Miss Vargas from Port Charles Savings and Loan who is calling about Sasha Gilmore’s accounts. Gladys lashes out that Sasha’s been kidnapped. “Miss Vargas” is sorry to hear it.
She says there’s a subpoena for all of the accounts belonging to Miss Gilmore.
Gladys has a fit, thinking they were confidential. Vargas/Sam says if the DA has cause and when a subpoena is issued, the records will be turned over today.
Sonny finds Carly yelling at Ava by the nurses’ hub at General Hospital. He tells her to can it and asks what’s going on.
She fills him in on thinking Ava is the one who opened her mouth about why Drew is in Pentonville.
Sonny denies it and knows for a fact Ava didn’t do it. Carly doesn’t know what to think.
She tears up, worried Drew won’t make it through.
She blames herself for insider trading and asks to be left alone. Sonny finds Nina while a doctor comes around to talk to Carly about Drew. Sonny goes to her as she places her head in her hands, causing Nina to call to God.
The women learn that Drew’s going to be okay. Everyone’s relieved and Carly apologies for attacking Ava. Ava understands. Carly thanks Sonny for being there and when the women are out of earshot, Ava says wait until Carly learns the truth!
Later, Liz, Jake and Finn head for the chapel and meet Anna outside.
Finn comforts Anna while Liz tells Jake he can light a candle for Drew.
He does that and they pray before getting the call that the surgery was a success.
Outside, Finn learns Drew’s fine and Anna thanks him for being a friend before he heads to see Liz.
At home, Gladys fills a suitcase like a madwoman when Sasha shows up.
She calls out, “Just a minute. I thought you were going to text!” Sasha glares.
