Tuesday, July 25 GH recap: Finn and Liz have a date at The Grill, Dante investigates the corpse, Portia and Curtis have dinner, and BLQ and Chase go skinny-dipping.
Monday’s GH recap: The new nanny threatened Ava and her mother, Carly took over Kelly’s, and Drew wondered who Cyrus is scared of.
BLQ and Chase are dancing by the pool. When he spots a sign, he says they need to go. The pool is closed. He thinks they need to follow the rules. She’s a Quartermaine: she breaks the rules. Can’t he do that for once?
They chat about his “rebellious stage” and he explains that he used to have a motorcycle and would go to a casino and skinny-dip. She pushes him to prove he’d really do the last of these.
Chase yelps. She reminds him she’s already seen it all. He agrees to do it if she joins him. She won’t so he suggests they have a competition to catch peanuts in their mouth. The losers has to get “nekkid.”
He’s amazed she can swallow eight in a row but he swallows nine. She asks for two out of three. When she finally agrees and kicks off her shoes, she asks for some more information and starts kissing him.
He gets so excited he takes off all his clothes and jumps in the pool.
She’s impressed that he was willing to risk getting arrested for her. They kiss.
Portia stops by Curtis’ room at General Hospital. He’s been looking at medical websites and she says that won’t help.
Curtis says what’s driving him crazy is all the tests he’s had to take without getting any results.
She explains his doctors don’t want to give him a premature diagnosis.
He feels like he’s being “handled” and that’s not helping.
The doctor is sure it’s hard for him to feel like his life is out of control.
She’ll only let him have his phone if he agrees to have dinner with her. She’ll order them some take-out. One thing they can control is what they eat.
She leaves to order, handing him his phone. He reads about spinal cord damage and how it can’t be cured until Portia returns with their dinner.
He eats a mouthful and tries to be positive. They talk about cooking and how she used it to connect with Trina for years. He’s happy to hear about their connection.
She’s happy to tell him all about their daughter’s past because they have a future to work out. When she explains she’s cutting back on her work hours, he wonders why.
She tells him his recovery will be a process and she wants to spend more time with him. She adds that it might be good for them to rent somewhere that doesn’t have stairs or they can have their home modified.
Snapping, Curtis tells her that if he can’t walk, she needs to let him go.
In the alley, Dex finds Gordon’s corpse. He yells at it and then kicks it but there’s no reaction.
