Monday, Oct 30, 2023: Today on General Hospital, Tracy suggests Olivia prefers Eddie to Ned, Sonny and Lois catch up, Liz and Finn have sex.
Friday’s GH recap: When Mason threatened to take Austin down, the doctor suffocated him as TJ watched, and Esme told Alexis she has feelings for Spencer.
At Pozzulos’s, one of Sonny’s men informs him that some “broad” is there to see him.
It’s Lois. They hug.
They discuss his elopement and how Carly handled.
He claims they are trying to get along. “How’s that workin’ out?” she asks.
Eating cookies, they chat about the old neighborhood and she tells him stories.
He says they were wilder back in the day.
The topic turns to Ned/Eddie and how bizarre it is.
She has no idea what to think.
They look at pictures of his grandchildren.
She can’t wait until her daughter and Chase have children.
She’s sure he doesn’t like him since he’s a cop.
Sonny claims he loves everyone. She asks about the Feds.
They chat and she says he seems more centered than he used to be.
When she announces she’s hungry, he offers to cook but she insists on doing it.
At the Quartermaine estate, BLQ brags to Ned about her plans to sign Blaze today.
She suggests he come along but he passes.
Before she can leave, Tracy corners her and orders her to stop hiding from her.
BLQ declares she’s not hiding.
“Sooner or later missy, you are going to need me,” says Tracy, insisting they will discuss her future eventually.
BLQ flounces off. Ned wonders if threats are the best way to handle this.
Tracy says they’ve worked in the past.
He doesn’t see why she keeps making this harder than it needs to be.
She’s annoyed by his intentional naivety.
Olivia arrives and orders her to stop badgering Eddie.
Tracy lectures her for not getting her husband therapy.
Is she starting to prefer Eddie over Ned?
Olivia refuses to force him into therapy and will make peace with whatever he chooses.
Tracy is not impressed by her continuing to maintain Ned in his state of “arrested development” and walks off.
Ned thanks her for accepting him and defending his right to be himself.
She won’t make him try to be who he’s not.
Even though she thinks he’s wonderful, she won’t stop missing her husband.
Austin drinks at the bar in Charlie’s.
TJ sidles up to him and says they need to discuss Mason.
The doctor tells him he doesn’t care about his cousin and then flashes back to TJ stopping him from suffocating Mason.
He thanks him for stopping him from throwing his life away.
TJ tells him that Mason did something terrible to him.
Austin is sorry to hear that.
He admits his cousin did something terrible to him too.
He could have turned him in to the police.
Blaze bumps into Kristina.
They chat about Lucy hounding her about taking the Deception job and then spot Sasha walking in with Sam.
They come over and get introduced. Blaze jogs off to take care of something.
Sasha and Sam get a table and Cody and Dante join them.
The stable hand jokes about how useless the cop is at home improvement.
They joke around about helping out.
Sasha and Cody want to help to thank them.
They toast to a fresh start.

Martin is with Lucy at Café Cherie.
She vents about Tracy squashing the plan to hire Blaze.
When Blaze arrives, she abruptly tells Lucy that she is passing on the job offer and they should stick with Sasha.
She walks out before Lucy and even close her mouth.
Lucy babbles about all the things she wanted to do with Blaze.
She refuses to accept any of this lying down and vows to show Tracy who she is dealing with.
Laura drops by the gallery to see Ava. They congratulate each other on surviving their recent ordeals. Laura fills her in on failing to find Nikolas.
Ava is sure it must have been exhausting to exert all that energy and come up with nothing.
The mayor explains they found proof he’s alive and well.
The Jerome starts to get nervous as Laura tells her that the prince was seen in person at his bank in Geneva.
Ava looks away and needs to absorb this for a moment.
Laura thinks how things fell apart between them was a such a shame.
Maybe there could still be another chance for them?
Ava is sure that if Nikolas ever did love her, he doesn’t anymore.
Once Laura takes off, Ava has to sit down.
Panicking, she calls Austin and orders him over immediately.
When he arrives, he tells her she’s beautiful and he’s happy she’s okay.
She can see he’s drunk and informs him that Nikolas is very alive.
He’s taken aback and says this must be great.
She points out that he and his boss have been threatening her with his body for months.
Did he know about all this?
He claims he had no idea and has just been trying to protect her.
She really wants to believe him.
TJ returns to General Hospital to see Mason.
He makes it clear that he’s a doctor and saved lives, not ends them.
He stopped Austin from killing him because death would have been too easy on him.
As long as he’s locked up forever, he sees that as a win.
Laura meets Martin at the Café.
She asks him what they are going to do about their wacky brother.
Martin doesn’t trust his brother but he cares about him.
He’s not sure if his religious conversion is real. He nearly died and that can change a person.
Laura suspects their brother is as shrewd as he ever was.
Blaze returns to Charlie’s to meet with BLQ.
They talk about the contract and she reads it over.
It’s straightforward. they call Kristina over to be a witness and then sign and shake.
Lucy meets with Tracy at the Quartermaine estate.
She tells her that Sasha will remain the face of the company but that’s the last decision she will be able to make.
In the cabin in Vermont, Finn and Liz get dinner ready and talk about Cam dating a girl at college.
He dreads the day his daughter is old enough to date.
He grills their dinner and she calls her grandma to check in at home.
The doctor hopes tonight can just be about them.
They sit on the couch and discuss his OCD.
He tells her how amazing she is, an artist and a compassionate healer.
She thinks he’s nice. He’s not used to being called that.
The nurse keeps doling out compliments, making him uncomfortable.
They kiss and then have sex.
Afterward, she thanks him for this trip.
It was perfect.
She had so much fun tapping trees.
