In the Friday, November 12, 2021, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Liam struggles to understand Hope, Steffy turns Finn down for lunch, and he runs into Sheila, while Jack surprises Sheila with kindness. Soaps Spoilers has Thursday’s B&B recap where Liam learned that Hope has decided to let Deacon in her life.
At the cabin, Hope asks Liam to support her in letting Deacon in her life. Liam reminds her this isn’t just her life, it’s her family’s life. Liam gets her wanting a connection with her dad. He was there with $Bill and it changed his life. It gave him opportunities he dreamed of and gave her you. He wonders what this will give Hope. Other than heartache. Hope wants a chance to discover it. He thinks the letters could be bogus. Hope looks away and sighs heavily. Liam calls their life so good. Is she sure this is the best thing for her? Hope thinks they should put off their discussion because she has to get to work soon. She thinks if they can work this out. They touch foreheads and hug.
At Brooke and Ridge’s house, she decides not to go down to the cabin and to instead, wait to see if Liam can get through to Hope. Ridge wonders how this happened and how they didn’t “do everything in our power to stop it.” Brooke reminds Ridge that Hope is a grown woman. She’s concerned about what’ll happen to Hope and Liam’s marriage if they can’t come to an agreement. Brooke wonders if Deacon really is that bad as they think. If he’s not, Hope will fight for him more. Ridge loves her but doesn’t think it means they need to take a memory trip with Deacon. Some things should stay in the past. Ridge knows it’ll be okay. In the end, Liam and Hope will remain reunited.
At Forrester, Finn kisses Steffy. He asks her to lunch, but she has a meeting with Thomas. He wants to go to Il Gardino. He says he’ll be lonely, but she’s sure that he’ll chat someone up once he gets there. She’s happy he’s taking her warnings about Sheila to heart. He understands but at least he got to meet her. Now he knows what she looks like. Steffy can see he has answers to questions he had his whole life. He says he also wants to find out who his biological dad is. She suggests he not go to Sheila to ask. He’s not. But he wonders if his bio dad knows about him. “Is he just as bad?” Steffy says, “As Sheila?” She doubts it. She thinks Sheila would have taken advantage of him. Thomas shows up and Steffy suggests they hire someone to look into it. He goes off to lunch. Thomas and Steffy’s meeting ends a while later and Thomas tells her to go catch up with Finn. He eventually talks her into it.

At Il Giardino, Sheila asks Jack why he wanted to see her. He wants to thank her for keeping their secret, which completely shocks Sheila. Finn arrives and Jack doesn’t think he should see them together. She shrugs him off and goes to say hello. He does a double-take. He asks how she is. She’s great and says her day got better. His table is ready, so he tells her he doesn’t want to be rude but asks why she’s there. She’s there for lunch and swears it’s a coincidence. “A lovely one at that.” She’ll go before Steffy arrives. Sheila’s tickled to learn he’s solo. She asks to join him. She misses him so much. She practically begs and Jack eavesdrops as they sit together, “Only for a moment.” Sheila can’t stop grinning. She’s so impressed with the man he has become. She made the right choice by giving him up, as painful as it was. He asks, “So you regret it?” She does. She wishes she could have raised him. He asks why she didn’t and asks if it’s because of his bio dad. Jack pokes his head around the corner and Sheila meets his eyes. Finn admits he’s curious about the man. Did they love each other? He asks for the man’s name and to meet him. “Unless I already have?” Sheila tears up. Finn asks if she’s really with Deacon. She picks up a breadstick and he asks if Deacon is his dad. “No, no no,” she swears.
