Tuesday, May 7, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy and Liam hope that Hope can get through to Deacon, and Hope has a hard time accepting that Sheila has changed.
Monday’s Early B&B recap: Hope fainted at seeing Sheila alive, while Steffy bemoaned Deacon manipulating Finn into thinking Sheila is alive.
At Deacon’s, he tells Hope that he knows he’s struggling with what she’s seeing.
She came there to tell him to stop spreading the rumor Sheila is alive.
Finn says she’s alive and it’s a miracle. Steffy did kill someone but not his mom.
Sheila talks about the “desperate time” in her life when she had Sugar’s face changed.
This is all too much for Hope.
All that her dad was saying was true.
Deacon adds it is also true that Sheila is a changed woman and is part of his life and Finn’s.
It would mean a lot if she could accept that.
Finn assures his birth mother that he believes in her and she explains she finally has what she’s been searching for her entire life.
Hope is sure she went through something harrowing but she still has her concerns.
She is proud of the men for rescuing Sheila.
She was a victim, but is she really that different?
Her father and Finn insist she is a changed woman and offered her own life in place of Steffy’s.
Sheila is sure she will come to believe this too one day.
She asks them if they can get some fresh air.
Before Deacon can go out with his ladylove, she tells Hope that the men are right about her.
Once they leave, Hope asks how all this happened.
Finn asks her to warn him if she’s going to faint again.
Hope can only imagine how he must be freaking out.
He says it’s surreal.
They all thought Deacon was delusional.
This really complicates things. “Just a little bit,” she agrees.
She’s happy for him and won’t judge him.
If he needs someone to talk to, she will be there.
He is feeling relief and joy. His mother wasn’t trying to hurt his wife and he has a new opportunity with her.
What his mom did was heroic. She tried to stop Sugar. That doesn’t make him forget the horrible things she did, but it means she changed.
Hope would love to wholeheartedly agree but thinks most people will likely struggle with this.
He has hope that he can now have his mother in his life. That’s not an opportunity he wants to lose again.
She hopes Steffy will be able to see his side of things.
He’s sure it will require a major mind shift from his wife. At the very least, she should be relieved she didn’t kill his birth mother.
This is not an opportunity he wants to waste. He thanks her for listening and understanding.
She hugs him.
Deacon and Sheila go up to the balcony. She enjoys the view. It’s so great after being chained up for weeks.
Deacon is sure that everyone will come around to how she has reformed.
He should have known that she never would have attacked Steffy.
Taking his hands, she tells him he’s her hero and has nothing to apologize for.
He says her nine toes saved her. The most insane thing she ever did saved her.
She’s his “wild little hurricane” causing all sorts of trouble and he hopes he can clean up after her for the rest of his life.
Dropping on his knees, he says he never thought he needed anyone until her and her magical missing toe.
He kisses her toe and tells her that he believes in them.
“Marry me Sheila?” he asks.

Liam joins Steffy and Carter in the Forrester Creations office to talk business.
They go over contracts and then he asks if Finn called her back.
She says she thinks Deacon is going to stop with his stupid nonsense once Hope shuts him down.
She can’t handle hearing about Sheila’s toes anymore.
Liam is sure that Hope has clout with her dad so this could be over soon.
Carter says that if she fails, they will try with someone else and end these theories.
Liam says that these conspiracy theories are hurting people.
Once Carter takes off, Liam asks Steffy if she needs to vent.
She doesn’t want to talk about this anymore.
Why can’t they just forget about Sheila?
He knows that Sheila is hanging over her but it’s all a process of phasing out.
There is no Sheila anymore.
That makes her feel a little better, probably for the first time since she learned Sheila is Finn’s biological mother.
They are now finally free of her.
